I recently called Dan Kitajima Farmer’s to get a quote for a SR-22 insurance policy. I was forwarded to a sales rep named Laura and I was pleased to find that she was friendly, informative, and effective in communication — all of the qualities you look for in when shopping for insurance. I was being a picky customer asking about several different quotes based on different coverages and requesting clarification on some of the insurance jargon. The overall process was pretty smooth, especially being able to sign the documents electronically. The agent (Blanca T.) answered all questions I had throughout the process. The main reason I dropped 1 star was for them not having a mobile app at this time. The insurance I was quoted was not directly with Farmers but a subsidiary (Farmers auto specialty). I understand this might be nitpicking however I enjoy the easy of doing everything on a phone app for the convenience.

I stupidly let my liability insurance lapse. sure enough letter from DMV saying my car would be suspended. in a panic, I called up Farmers, and Laura helped me get a new policy right then and there. Laura calmness calmed me down too. Thanks Laura!

Ive had a policy with Farmers for years. Im a long haul trucker, and am hardly ever home, but I have to insure my pickup so Im able to drive it when Im home. Ive never made a claim, and only drive my pickup less than 300 per yr. I think Im being charged too much, but the folks at Dan Kitajima are always nice and helpful.

I was able to get my car insured with no problem at all and I did not feel pressured to get insured with them like other companies tend to make you feel. My husband and I cancelled our insurance in July. It is now September and the company will not cancelled my insurance. Two calls later where they said ok, we will cancel. They know we already have a new insurance company. They now have come up with a new thing. They want a letter.

I have been with this Branch for a few years now didnt have any issues until I got earthquake policy with them I was given misinformation about the policy and when I called back to get it rectified I was told I would get a call back by an employee same day I did not I call back a few days later and I talked to the person who set up the policy I was told by her that I would get a call back after I explained the situation and she said she would talk to her billing department but I still didnt receive one I left several messages and it has been over a week now and I still have not received the call back I suspect that Im not giving a call back because they are very well aware that they made a mistake and they dont want to own up to it I will not deal with an office that does not take care of its customers after given misinformation and not even giving the callbacks that they promised and its been over a month and a half since the initial call I am not a complainer but this is definitely not how you handle customer service
