This specific location has staff that sound rude for making them answer your call, and one lady made me so mad that I forgot her name. Im one person so I know my loss of business wont hurt them but I will be honest on my review of them regardless of how insignificant it may be to them and the managers.

Amazing. Melissa is the best. SO SO SO CLEAN and Friendly, I havent made it to any of the classes or training but I cant wait. Tanning, massage beds, such a variety of machines!My only critique is the showers only have like warm water that will randomly dip into cold. (Idk of thats been fixed/ I like scolding hot water, so take the as you will)

Take advantage of the personal trainers! Its amazing what you can get for the price, and they do a great job. The gentleman who assisted me was amazing and very professional. The gym is clean and goers are polite. Equipment is new, works well, bathrooms/lockers are clean and maintained.Go there if you plan on staying local awhile.I had a terrible experience canceling membership, but upon posting a review it was immediately resolved by the owner. For military, ensure you cancel before PCSing. The owner is great and will ensure mostly everything is done for you. Three instead of four stars only because of the cancelation headache

It is a good place for a workout, staff is not very helpful at times. They can answer basic questions about the machines but some of them really dont know their way around this gym.

Clean place. Friendly service and greeting almost all of the time. Katrina the manager is great. I havent seen her in a while but I avoided going out to places the past year. Not because I was fearful of getting sick, but because I was avoiding idiots and possible jail. 🤣

It a great place. Paid for over a year only used it a few times do to Covid. Easier to workout at home.

I have been a member for several years, I have always had a good workout and experience here.

Good place to workout. Their hydromassage chairs are great after weight training! The monthly black card price is reasonable, place is clean, and staff is friendly. A second lying leg press machine would be nice. Yes, the fees are a little high, I joined with no money down, but had to pay the annual fee and other fee like the following month. Overall, thumbs up!

Good gym. The workers keep it clean and I like that people mind their business.

They will not respond to your complaints and because they dont take a credit card, you will have no way to file a dispute to their charges.THEY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT AFTER I HAD CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP!

The fan blows too hard, cool air flow is not good when sweating while working out, youll catch a cold or something.

The customer service here is terrible... terrible customer service cause there literally is none...the guy the works behind the desk disappears for long periods at a time and when he actually is working you have to track him down wherever hes hiding to actually get the poor customer service thats offered

Upset that my daughter has been charged 39.60 all year when her plan is 22.99. Also the charges are inconsistent on the dates. She had 39.50 taken from her account 2x this month. This also happened to my nephew as well. I will be calling tomorrow and straightening this out as my daughter is very shy. She also hasnt even been to this gym since March. She didnt mind paying the regular monthly payment as she had a year plan. But thats a little overboard dont you think??? This has caused her many overdraft fees from her bank since shes making sure the right amount is in her bank for her bills. But when you take out more than youre supposed to, it causes alot of problems. Not cool Planet Fitness, not cool!!

Called my sister ignorant in front of her friends/employees and members of the gym. This was after they stopped her work out over a billing issue from 2015, that shouldnt of been there. That membership was cancelled. Told her she had to pay it ASAP, or she couldnt work out. Then banned her from the gym when she said she wasnt paying a fee from a membership she cancelled. When she was leaving the assistant manager said thats what ignorancy is, right there. Completely humiliated her in front of other gym members and her friends. This issue was handled in an unprofessional manner, where the whole gym could hear their discussion. Should of been handled in an office NOT at the front counter.

Great location, staff, clean and value. If you dont need spin classes, theres no beating the value for your own workout. Oh, and the hydro message beds!!

Would rate this higher if people at the front desk didn’t lie about canceling my account and still allowed me to get billed, very disappointing and unfair.

The size of the gym is decent for the surrounding community. Ive yet to attend any of the classes but now with pandemic, I believe the classes are virtual and I may be able to squeeze a class in during my lunch break.Bathrooms have been clean the few times Ive utilized it.The only thing that I find bothersome are people relaxing on equipment taking photos, live on social media, or using their phones. I wish theyd walk around and encourage people to not occupy equipment if theyre not using it at the time, but its something that happens at all gyms.I will mention cars have been broken into. There is a large evergreen bush thats over grown that us a concern for safety when working out at night. It would be nice if theyd consider cutting it down.

Staff doesnt wear masks correctly everytime Ive been there, busy or not. Weekend hours are really inconvenient for nightshift workers. Machines seem to work okay and the facility is clean.

Clean, well run location. The staff is friendly and leaves people alone, unless they are needed. I only go during the week between 10am and 1pm. The clientele during that time is usually older and chill. Everyone seems to keep to themselves. Though, Ive come across many friendly expressions. Excellent value. Meets my needs.

Planet fitness is a great gym, the staff here are super friendly and they do a great job of making sure everything is kept clean & sanitary.

I called several times to cancel my membership between March and July. No one would answer or call back.I talked to the manager today because I was billed and wanted a refund. She refused and told me to call corporate. When I call corporate there is no answer. Immune system is bad so I cant go to the gym. Even if I could I live in NC now. Worst customer service ever.Im contacting the Attorney General in Florida who is taking complaints under COVD and the Department of Agriculture takes care of gym complaints.

Husband has black card, came in with him as guest. Walked in the door and staff just starred at us, I said hello, they just looked at us like aliens and with no response. But once one of them realized I had sandles on she jumped up asked if I was a guess and to remind me I cant workout in them (the sandle part is completely understandable) But, just the welcome its self was very bizarre. Dont want to pull that race card but gotta call a spade a spade. Sticking to our spot on Normandy which never makes us uncomfortable. Some advice, just say hello or welcome the guests since youre already staring at them like theyve already done something wrong.

I joined this about a month ago and already regret it. Its kinda small for the amount of people that tend to be there in the afternoon and evening. Most days I go early in the morning to avoid the crowd but its not open 24/7. The days its not open 24 hrs are days I have issues doing what I need to do because there are so many people. I honestly wish I didnt sign up for this gym and now Im stuck with the year commitment. Waste of time and money honestly

Nice gym. Still unfortunately i cannot wear comfy clothes without guys gawking. Which there was a ladies only gym closer to me. Oh well 😔...

I feel that Planet Fitness - Orange Park is the standard by which gyms should be measured. After trying different gyms in the area, we came to this one, where our options were explained clearly to us and we joined. The staff is friendly and welcoming, especially Jackie at the front desk. As for fitness goals, go see Jeremy (this locations trainer). He takes time to explain different workout strategies and is absolutely encouraging. If its support you need, he is there for you, and if you need a kick in the butt to get you going, hell do that too. Also, the staff constantly cleans the machines and facility. Do yourself a favor, try Planet Fitness - Orange Park.

Ive reviewed Planet Fitness before. I like that its easy to get in and out of the center where its located. I can get a decent workout in if I have time or if I dont and its usually always clean with plenty of paper towels + solution. Once the new planet opens up it will be even more convenient for me to use. Some of them even have free coffee in the morning which is a nice touch.

This particular location was renovated which it is very nice and clean. Lots of weight lifting areas and machines to workout on. They host classes all month you can enroll online call to start. Amenities are great such as massage stations tanning laying down or standing. Locker rooms and showers are clean which is great staff regularly maintain it! Everyone is friendly and an inviting atmosphere!

The cancellation process is definitely not clear in any way. And even having a doctors note saying you cant go they still require you to finish your contract. Or else charge you basically for the months that you would have left on the agreement. I wouldnt recommend. This is bad for business.

Good gym, very clean and functioning equipment. Staff seems to be good and atmosphere is welcoming. There is ample equipment but it does get crowded in the weights section around 5-7 pm.

Love this location! I recently transferred to this one because while visiting with my friend, I found the customer service to be top notch! Matt and Dalton are professional. The gym is so clean. Wide range of people, shapes and sizes. No snottiness like other locations I have been too.

Good prices (If you work at Walmart you get a discount as well), friendly staff, and the equipment is usually in working order and if not its fixed by the next day.

Out of all people in there only 2%are wearing mask, you are supposed to wear them when walking around, entering but no and the employee dont say anything and they wear their around the chin so if you are worried or have a compromise immune system DONT GO, very disappointed.

I love the staff there, best place for an express and beginners workout at a gym.Unfortunately all my favorite staff are leaving for new horizons, these people dont get enough compensation for their time and effort.Id advise everyone who goes there to treat the staff their best as they do with their clients.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My son joined beginning of March, only went once, they closed and now charging ME for annual fee and he only went ONCE, when I called to cancel, they will let me but will NOT RFUND the ANNUAL FEE of $45. SO IF YOURE NOT SURE YOU REALLY WANT TO GO TO A GYM DONT AND I REPEAT DONT GO HERE FIRST!!!!

I love this gym! It offers stand up or lay down tanning, red light therapy (stand up only) and hydro massages in lounge or lay down options, on top of the awesome work out equipment that is in great condition. I also love that all ages and sizes go here! The best is the 30 minute express area with the red light, green light self guidance!

The staff is great. We spend 2 hours working out and its fine. There are quite a few people that just sit on a piece of equipment and play on their phones and that is very aggravating. Then you have the LOUD cell phone conversations - people need to learn some respect for others

Not very transparent in the terms of cancellation. Even though I asked when I first signed up, management did not let you know a medical condition, back by a physician, does take you to the end of your membership.... they just tack on the months to the end.Additionally, when 6 months past, PF began withdrawing monthly dues for 3 months.... now that are into my pocket for $110.59 and they still require a cancellation letter from me and a $58 fee to cancel it.WHY DIDN’T MANAGER JUST SHOW SOME ETHICAL BEHAVIOR A YEAR AGO AND SUGGEST I CANCEL THEN, REJOIN LATER????

The fitness instructor is booked solid with the same group. I was looking forward to having an instructor day. It seems that the he works with the same group and they are manopolizing the time for the instructor. There are others; like myself who needs an instructor to get started with an exercise regiment.

I absolutely love Plant Fitness! Being someone with lower back pain. I enjoy the hydro massage bed/lounge before and after work with the black card membership! Able to enjoy more from life because of them.

This is a great place to work out at your pace. The staff will also teach you how to properly use the work out equipment.

This place is much better at 5am than 5pm.At 5am, everybody is there to get their work in and move on with their day.At 5pm, too many people sit on the equipment scrolling through Facebook. Gets in the way of those of us trying to get a workout in before going home to the family after wirk and cooking dinner. If you are one of those people, we cannot be friends.Try getting to the gym early. Its a much better experience and a great way to start your day,

Pretty great gym, no intimidation. They always have friendly staff. Only downside is no squat rack, but they do have machines that suffice.

Great workouts and black car membership

I made an appointment for personal training appointment with one of the trainers to go over the equipment. I was there 20 minutes early and was told the trainer was in a class. The trainer walked by me as I waited and sat down with a couple and started to speaking to them. I had no idea this was not going to be one on one. I now have appointment at 103rd location.

Great location right off of Blanding, lots of parking. Very Clean and professional environment. 2 different, very affordable month to month memberships available starting at just 10 bucks a month.Doesnt have all the fancy features of more expensive gyms but it has everything you need to get in shape and stay in shape. Highly recommend!

Love this place

I hate going to the gym because I hate the looks I sometimes get. Planet Fitness really is a friendlier gym than others I tried. I dont feel intimidated when I go there and the price is great for the services that are available.

Not a fan of public gyms, this place wasnt inherently bad, just not my cup of tea.

The gym is absolutely amazing. I come as a visitor with my daughter. There are many pieces of equipment that are available to work on every part of the body. Instructions are visible, and there is plenty of staff to help if you ever need it 22 TVs so theres never a boring moment.

Just signed up. All new machines, very clean facilities, lots of tvs on different channels and plenty of choices for working out. Black card members also have a good selection of relaxation options like tanning, water massage, etc. Staff is friendly and the place is pretty quiet even when busy.

Manager Hannah at this location is the most unpleasant person I’ve ever dealt with in PF. I was a black card member in Jax for one year before I moved an hour and a half away and had to downgrade to the basic $10 membership. I am driving to Jacksonville for work training and after driving all that way I really needed to use the restroom. This PF is right behind my work location.I went in and explained I only needed to use the bathroom and was not there to work out, but I am a PF member. She refused to let me use the restroom because my home PF is in Lake City. She then ignored me and moved on to other customers when I was trying to show her proof of the monthly fee being taken out of my bank account. She still refused to let me use the bathroom. I have filed a formal complaint with corporate and the managers at my home location. I will also be cancelling my PF membership. They can thank Hannah for losing a customer.So much for “welcoming and judgment free”.

Went to the one in Fleming Island did not feel very comfortable guess if youre not young and fit they really dont have the time for you so I went to the one on Wells Road I felt more at home I will give Wells Road a better grade then Fleming oh by the way I wasnt even shown where the tanning beds are and Im a Black card when someone turns their back on you when you need to know things thats not good ethics

Went in to do a tryout and the young kid behind the desk told me that it will be $20 for a free trial for one day and that the $20 would go towards my membership, by the way a non-refundable $20. Even if I was going to join or not it wouldve been nice to see if I wanted to join without a $20 loss. A total turnoff and I would not recommend Planet Fitness to anyone.

Cheap, crowded, hot when there is a lot of people and the AC won’t cool fast enough. Main complaint is that they won’t let you do any powerlifting or Olympic-style lifts... but still cheap so that’s okay for some, good for what it is and the patrons they target. Not really a gym for me.
