Grady’s Tire took a bad situation we are having & made it exponentially worse! We blew an interior RV tire on Hwy 85 about 30 miles from Grady’s. After spending 2 hours calling every tire shop from here to AL, finally, Grady’s was the only place that had our RV tire in stock. We spoke with Laura and I asked if I could pay for 3 tires over the phone (to replace 3 of the 4 rear, since 1 was already replaced last year) and then have our mobile mechanic, Lee, pick them up and bring to us. She spoke with manager, after not wanting to do a phone sale, for fear we would charge the sale back on our credit card. I said that whether someone comes in person or over the phone, they can charge back, if that is what someone plans to do. They agreed to take our American Express over the phone, if we texted them a copy of our drivers license, which we did. We paid for 3 tires, then the mobile mechanic sent his assistant to go pick up the tires and he came straight to us. I texted Grady‘s and gave them the name of the assistant who was picking up the tires. Shortly after, Laura called and said we are not releasing the three tires to this person. She said, in fact this is so sketchy, that my manager, Danny Gory?, has told me to void the transaction and we will not sell the tires to you, unless you come with cash and they promptly voided the transaction, made the mobile mechanic’s assistant gal cry, and refused to release our tires to her, even though we had already paid. We asked to speak with Danny and he refused to take our call. So, we are still stranded on I 85, and it has been nearly 4 hours of wasting our time with this “Mom & Pop Tire Co.” as Laura kept calling it. We asked if we could use Grady’s mobile mechanic to bring us the tire(s) & change them for us and she said only 1 mobile guy showed up today, so we can’t help you. Our mobile mechanic, Lee, who had sent his assistant, had to come get my husband, take him to various ATM machines and show up to Grady’s 30 mins away with cash! Why? Because they are unreasonable!!! Lee, however, the mobile mechanic, has been great. Grady’s, you lost out on selling $1000 worth of tires and this is why you will stay a small mom & pop shop! Thank you Grady’s for making a bad situation HORRIBLE!!!

Grady’s Tire & Auto needs to learn how to treat a customer. Worst customer experience we have ever had the misfortune to encountering. My wife and I were traveling to Texas and blew a tire on 85, 20 miles outside of Opelika, AL. No need to boar you with the details. Needless to say they made our mechanic’s assistant come to tears when they refused to give her the tires we had just ordered from them . I can assure you that you will be better off picking another auto shop.

I never come back their bussinese again !I did replaced 2 new rear tires and do alightment also at the shop 1 week ago. And feel something wrong when i drivng the car. Not smoths anymore i bring the car back to them to check it out agian .They keep the car just for checking the problem up to 5 days. And wait untill friday (close on saturday n sunday) to call me and recomend me to do Transmission flush but they said it may not help the comdition better. They are not sure.And the price for everything is $384.09 (may not get better condition, not waranty !)And i just come to pick my car up on tuesday .They charged me $94.86 for the check up. With out giving the exactly problem of my car ! They not sure anything. Never never have any bussinese at this shop anymore.

I’ve come to Gradys 3 times and every time has been a 5 star experience. Everyone there is so friendly and informative. Last time I went I was only there for a check up since I was about to drive 3 hours away with a ton of stuff in my car and wanted to make sure I wouldn’t end up on the side of the road. I went to pay and they said it was free. Completely caught me off guard since I assumed there would at least be some labor fees but wow, very nice. Up until I moved, they were my go to. Would definitely recommend them!

It has been about a month since I had my tire service done at Gradys. Excellent customer service and price. I waited in the lobby while they mounted and balanced my 4 new tires. The whole time the staff was super friendly and engaged with me in interesting conversation making me feel more welcomed. They told me I needed new brakes and a rear rotor (which I did, and already bought the parts on Amazon before going to Gradys) and I appreciate how they didnt try to pull any sneaky fees on me. My only complaint is that when I got my car home, I checked the pressure in all 4 tires and each were off. One tire had 65 pounds of pressure in it! The other 3 had around 20-25 pounds of pressure. My tires are supposed to hold 35 pounds of pressure, so needless to say I had to do some air pressure adjustments. Nonetheless, I have no hard feelings, and understand this was probably an overlooked mistake. I still recommend Gradys and will continue using them in the future (checking tire pressure before leaving the parking lot next time.)

We got a flat tire on the highway. Went to a place, that supposedly fixed it. An hour later on the highway the tire went flat.We were lucky to be next to an exit and just 10 min away from Gradys Tire.The friendly staff at Gradys managed to take us the same day and fixed our tire. Rick and the rest of the team were very knowledgeable and helpful! Super professional and helped us out even though we got there 30 minutes before closing.Thank you!

Professional with Outstanding Customer Service:My family was traveling from Atlanta, GA through Opelika, AL when the car lost oil pressure. The cap not being secured correctly the day before after taking it for an oil change. Turns out it lost 7 quarts of oil! My wife pulled over and was directed to Gradys Tire & Auto. She arrived an hour before they opened and Mr. Anderson happened to be there. He welcomed them, opened the shop early and treated them to a cup of coffee while he checked out the car. The team put degreaser on the oil that had splashed onto the car and washed it down so they could get back on them road. So thankful to Mr. Anderson and his team for taking care of my family in their time of need. Its nice to know there are kind, loving people all over this great country. Thanks Yall

“ needs a new transmission because the transmission fluid is dark and smelt burnt....” the correct issue was a crankshaft position sensor which another mechanic shop fixed for the price that I got charged form them to just look at it.... wouldn’t recommend.

Made my cross country drive from California to Opelika, Alabama and when I got here I asked about who would be a good place to take my “Louise” to, and Grady’s was said to be a good company to go to, and they are!! Louise is a ‘94 Ford Cargo vVan, and need the oil pan fixed and asked them to do a few other things and we are doing all we can to extend her life and now she needs to have a slower life, and Grady’s did a fabulous job with her and feel like she’s a whole different van now!! I was very surprised that the offer of the courtesy ride is willing to drive you anywhere you need to go while you vehicle is there and even if your vehicle is there for a few days, you need a lift, give them a call!! I did not expect that offer and to me that’s service!! They now have my business no matter what vehicle I have, I found that this business gas surpassed my expectations and now won my loyalty 100%. If you need any help, this is the place to go hands down! You will not regret coming here! Friendly, kind, understanding and great comfort knowing you are in good hands! Ive been to Gradys twice and they have been great. They were very professional and do great work. From here on out I will use them for my service needs. Only wish I had found them sooner.

Last Friday at 8 30am, my family and I dropped off our car at Gradys tire and auto, for tires, oil change, and brakes. After they kept our car for over 8 hours, they never completed the job we asked and paid them to do. On Monday morning, we returned our car again to them once again in hopes they would complete the one job left to finish. After 6 and one half hours later, they have not.

I came.for a oil change and it was on a Tuesday and they said it was ladys day so I got $5.00 off! Also, I am a new customer so they added a free tire rotation for me as well. Very impressed.

Excellent!!!!I was stranded on the side of the Interstate with a flat tire. I called them and they promptly sent someone out. Charles made the extra trip to take the tire to the shop, fix it, and take it back to my car. When we realized that my car had more of a problem than just a flat tire, Charles was more than happy to take me back to the shop and had my vehicle towed. The men at the shop were extremely friendly, polite and very helpful! When the part could not be delivered until the next day, the owner offered and took me to a nearby hotel. Not only did they give me great service, at a great price - they also had the decency to help me in a time of need. If I were a local, Gradys would be the one and only Tire & Auto service I would go to!!

I brought a set of wheels and tires to them to be mounted(bought elsewhere). They only charged me $80 to mount, balance, and program new TPMSs. Lynch Toyota wanted $15 a tire to mount and $63 per TPMS.

I thought it was a great place to go because of ladies day on Wednesday until, I was charged $20 to patch a tire and an unapproved repair was done. Needless to say I havent been back, but the people are nice!

Not the quickest service but the job was done right the first time!

They wont see another dime from my pocket. My son had $600 worth of work done on his truck and about a week later, there was a noise coming from the same area the work was done. I had him call Gradys and ask if they can look and see if the part they put on was bad or if it was something else. My son was told to bring it in and a mechanic would take a look and see what was what. The mechanic(some old guy) took my son back and started blaming my son for the original problem we brought it in for. He was real rude. Then my son was told to go to the front office and they will put a quote together for him. The quote was for $3000 which he didnt have at the time so we waited until he could get the money together. Well, we decided to drop it off at another shop and see what they said before we paid the $3K. The other shop did the same work for $600. I would stay away! This isnt the first time I felt suspect about some work they have done.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! They charged me $90 for a diagnostics test without telling me the price initially. They then offered to charge only $45 if I would have the work done there. They also told me the job would be $465 and I took my car to another business and they only charged me $150 for the job. Truly shameful that they tried to charge me a $150 service fee because they typically dont work on Mazdas.
