I have had alright experiences here. Was looking for a new haircut place in Omaha that isnt a cookie cutter franchise. Good vibe in here,, neat stuff on the walls, I think skateboards or snowboards on the ceiling. I think more modern music playing throughout the store would help the experience. Overall a great place if you want something a little different.

Laura got me in super last minute. She did an amazing job giving me that clean sharp look, just in time for my wedding. You don’t need to look anywhere else, this is the place to go for all your hair care needs!

My husband and my 2 sons both get their hair cut by Katie. Our boys are 6 and 10, she is so patient with them, allows them to feel like they are part of the decision making in their cuts, and values their opinions. She does a fantastic job and really takes pride in her work, as she should. My husband doesn’t do small talk so sitting in the barber’s chair isn’t the most comfortable place for him but Katie makes conversation so easy that even he chats with her. The shop itself is clean, well kept, the staff was all friendly, and it’s super easy to make an appointment. We won’t go anywhere else.

After years at another Barbershop, I was nervous to switch but Katie made it such an easy transition for me! She knows exactly how I want my hair cut and takes the time to actually get to know me as a customer. Its not one of those rush your haircut kind of places. I was a bit nervous and hesitant, but after reading reviews for this shop, I made an appointment with Josh. I let him know I wanted something short and clean and he absolutely NAILED IT. I couldnt be happier with the results. The shop had an awesome environment and was extremely clean, Josh was very professional and made great conversation, and the haircut was absolutely top notch. I will be a repeat customer from here on out. 12/10 would reccomend.

First time going to a new barber in a long time and Josh knocked it out of the park. Gave me exactly what I wanted and made sure I was happy with it along the way. Will definitely be going again.

The site says walk-ins available so we went to the shop to get a kids haircut. Lady was sitting in her chair on her phone and there was one person in the shop getting their haircut. Said she had nothing available. Told us we had to wait two weeks to get appointment. Never will be back since apparently sitting on your phone and not wanting to make money on a quick and easy kids cut isn’t worth your time.

Shelby is Awesome! Didnt know what to expect when I made my first visit but I couldnt be happier to have found Ascension!

This is such a cool shop - its clean, well-designed, and has a lot of personality. If youre in search of a good barbershop that can give you a killer haircut or beard trim for a reasonable price, this is the place. I started coming to Ascension after my favorite barber at Dennison Dahlman (Josh - the guy with the head tattoos) left the shop to start this one. Ive never had a better haircut or beard trim than I get from him, and the girlfriend always loves the way I look afterward. The guy can line a beard up with a straight razor with his eyes covered (but dont worry, he wont). If Josh is booked up, not to worry, the other reviews glow over Shelby and Miguel as well.A note on navigation - this place can be a little challenging to find because Google Maps will tell you its down by the VIP lounge (spoiler: it isnt) or in the alley behind the shop (also not there). Best way to find it is to look to your right while driving South on 90th just past Arbor Street and look for the giant tree out front. Its the corner space in the strip. Look for the white sign hanging in the window.

Best barbershop around town plus best price around. Josh is a master barber, definitely recommend getting a appointment with him if you can! Def a place for anyone, old, young, real great people!

This shop is awesome! We didnt schedule our appointments the first time, but josh was still able to squeeze us in quickly. The kids loved the experience instead of mom cutting their hair at home. The ambience is so unique. Check them out if you havent yet done so! You wont regret it!

This place is one block from my house so I decided to give it a try, very cool spot, it looks like a skateboard shop, they have good music playing, everyone is super cool and nice, my barber does a great job! I will keep using them and I recommend this barber shop.
