My wifes car wouldnt start sometimes,then sometime no problem, so we took it there as they had no waiting for few days or week,to look at it,so they had it for 24hrs,and called me said nothing is wrong with the car and to come get it,we go get it they bring it out front, my wife gets in car,turns the car off,tries to start it back up and nothing happens, so theyre like k,so they took it back,and had it for 2 days, and called me and said come get it,they cant find whats wrong with it.

This is the second time we have taken an old “kid” car to Dingman’s and worked with Todd. He is wonderful at communicating about the car’s problems and helping the customer evaluate what to fix. He’s a dad so he wants the cars to be safe but also understands wanting to be thoughtful about how much money to spend on an older car with a lot of miles. He spent significant time talking with me and was so patient when I would need to call and discuss with my husband. We’ve also been very happy with the work. I wholeheartedly recommend Todd at Dingman’s Mechanical!

Great service and friendly employees! Repairs were done quickly, and very good prices. My problem was diagnosed within 30 mins of dropping my car off, and they had things fixed the same day.

Ive been to other places that not only pressure you to purchase other things that I didnt come to the shop for, but also take forever and over charge for an oil change or a patch in my tire from a nail. I got recommended to Dingmans by a coworker since its close to my job. They were all very nice, worked with my time and did a fast/great job. I think their prices are the best too. I wont go anywhere else now.

I love this place for my oil changes & car needs. They are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I called them when my car wouldnt start before work one day - they asked me a few questions and even had me put the phone on speaker so they could hear what I was experiencing when I tried to start it. They started the diagnosis over the phone before I even got there. It was determined to be the battery. I was able to jump it, take it over there, and have it replaced for a fair price. I was only 40 min late to work after it was all said and done. The waiting area is comfortable as well. I will be back!

I went into Dingmans with an overheating van. The owner called me back personally. He advised that he could fix it for $800, but he advised against it, because the van was just too far gone. I appreciate that they care more about their customers than making a quick dollar. I will be back with all of my future vehicles!

Did a fantastic job. I work for a small roofing company and put a ton of miles on my truck. I thought I heard something wrong. Brought it into them, they accessed the problem and communicated it to me and took care of it. They even do oil changes. Their team was great, from the front desk all the way back to their mechanics. These guys do a fantastic job.

I do about 90% of my own mechanical work but when something needs done that I cannot do or just do not have time to do I will go here. I started using them when they first opened the mechanic shop and one thing that we talked about is they will not rush work just to get more cars in the shop. They do a great job and at a fair price. You may be able to find a lower price at that back corner shop but will they strip lugs or use cheap parts that wont last you 6 months? Give them a try.

Absolutely amazing experience and fantastic staff! Ultimately I saved close to $2000 by having Dingmans PROPERLY diagnose and repair my engine / other issues with my 2011 Chevy Cruze. Todd and team in Mechanical were so easy to work and extremely detailed! They werent going to just jump in and fix what others thought may have been wrong, they took time to ensure they knew exactly what the issues were and made it very clear to me what they were proposing for a solution. My car hasnt ran this well in months! From here on out, until the wheels fall off, I will be bringing my car to Dingmans! Thank you for a great customer experience!

I took my car in out of convenience for an oil change and now I won’t go anywhere else. Todd in their mechanical center is great. I would highly recommend give them a chance.

They were timely (about 40 minutes) with my oil change. They were courteous. The cost was about 50% of what I have paid at some fast service, oil change only places. I will definitely be back!

Im very picky about my auto shops and was sad to leave my trusted hometown shop when I moved to the Omaha area. Im sad no longer, as Ive found all the values I respected at my former shop right here with Dingmans! They take time to get to know their customers and their cars, taking a long-term care approach. They value my time and finances, and are up front about all options and costs, what work is a priority to have done and what it is ok to wait and save up for. Its always a challenge when moving to have to find your new regular service businesses, but finding Dingmans and confidently crossing Auto Shop off my list has made Omaha a bit more home.

I cannot say enough about the efficient, knowledgeable, thorough work done on our car. We had been hearing loud, rubbing noises from the front of our car for a few months and had been dismissed by the dealer (which has serviced our car for years), as just being an annoying occasional noise. Todd greeted us at the Dingman door when stopped by for a second opinion, took a look at the car, pulled it inside and had a technician (Tim) look at it right away. His initial diagnosis of bad ball joints was correct. Todd got the parts. We brought the car in the next day and he went above and beyond to make sure the repairs were complete that day so we would not be without a vehicle overnight. Needless to say, the dealership has lost our business from oil changes to needed updates. I have lost all faith in them to be honest and provide the kind of customer service we have come to expect. I can’t say enough about the service at Dingman‘s. I had some noises and problems with how my Nissan Altima was running a few months ago. They diagnosed it over the phone (While I’m at work on a Friday) and advise that it’s likely the wheel bearing. By the time I got there after work they already had the parts they’re ready to go to install without me even giving them the go ahead on it. They knocked it out late on a Friday for me. Todd is awesome. Super accommodating and they know their stuff.Today I took my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica here because check engine light was on. They determined it is a fuel pressure issue and asked about my warranty. After looking into it, it appears it might be covered so they sent me to the dealership (that I was trying to avoid because I don’t trust them). So even when they could’ve just given me a price and attempted to fix it they did what was right and sent me to the dealership to attempt a warrantee repair. They will always do the right thing for the customer here and I will always take my vehicles to Dingmans when I can.
