Saw Broadway musical, CATS! Awesome performances by cast, great atmosphere at Orpheum & excellent volunteers to help patrons as needed. Masks required at all times. Cant beat Orpheum for wonderful entertainment!

Excellent wedding venue! Its obviously gorgeous and has a lot of variety. We really enjoy the location and atmosphere as well! Perfect place for when our couples want something a little extra special!

Days the masking. That was not in force when we bought tickets, if it had been, we wouldnt have purchased tickets!

Our son had his wedding and reception here. It is a wonderful wedding & reception venue. The staff was very accommodating & the atmosphere is beautiful. Great meal & service. All around wonderful staff.

Have gone to the opera several times. Great acoustics, comfortable seating, reasonable tickets.

We went to our granddaughters dance recital which of course was fantastic but the staff was not very friendly. I realize that Covid has made things difficult but they could have had more patience. We have been there in the past and everything was fine so maybe it was just due to the past year and the pandemic.

Went to see Rock of Ages March 2019, great show! Love the new seating since the latest renovations, so much more comfortable! Saw Phantom of the Opera February 2008, The Orpheum never disappoints. They are such a wonderful venue with amazing shows and great, helpful and super nice staff! I look forward to seeing more at the Orpheum!

I had the wonderful opportunity to see Wicked in this beautiful theatre. What an incredible experience! The staff was extremely friendly. I was seated in the Grand Tier and even that was a nice view. Parking wasn’t bad at all. There’s a parking garage only a couple blocks away that was only $6! No complaints! There was great acoustics as well for the musical. I’d highly recommend seeing a show here.

Beautiful vintage theater. Everything is way over priced at the snack bar. But I suppose at these events thats expected. 3 dollars for a bottle of pop.$5 for a cup of a few grapes some cubes of cheese and two packs of crackers. Or 7 dollars for a cup of chocolate covered nuts. Oh well we paid it. It was 100 degrees outside and after walking up from our parking spot we dying of thurst.We got to our seats after like 5 flights of stairs and seats are comfortable. Do not sit in front row of the balcony if you have legs. Not even long legs Im only 5 3. When I sat down my legs were tucked under the seat and I actually sat on them!. Looked at the rows behind us much more leg room.

The sound is amazing, theres plenty of leg room in the orchestra seats, and the shows are wonderful. Being downtown, there is plenty of parking within walking distance and great places to eat after or before a show. The crew running security, tickets, and sales and kind and considerate. Plenty of waiting room in the venue to avoid long lines forming outside.For PokemonGo players, the Orpheum is a gym.

I saw Les Miserable with my best friend last night and it was amazing! The seating in the balcony area is a little bit cramped, and there was a rude older gentleman that decided he needed to talk through the entire show, but other than those few things the show itself was amazing. The ushers were very nice and helpful. The actors were spot on. I very much appreciate everyone and everything that they do that this theater! Thank you for another amazing play Orpheum!!

Fantastic evening at the Orpheum to see the musical Hamilton. It has been a few years since the last time I was in the theater but its much as I remembered. Seats are very close with little legroom but thats to be expected in an older theater. Sound and lighting were great. They offer drinks and sugary snacks as concessions. It was a full house but surprisingly easy to get in and out despite the crowds. All in all it was a great show in a great venue.

Saw Cats for the first time!Loved it!

I went here while seeing Gary Clark Jr. The venue is beautiful on the inside and the staff is extremely helpful. They made sure everyone could find their seats and navigate the venue. The parking around Orpheum was also extremely convenient assuming you’re okay with spending $10.

Saw Shen Yun. What an incredibly beautiful theater. Wonderful show as well. The staff was fantastic.

What a beautiful place. Just a wished it was easier to get from dressing room to stage. Can get confusing backstage. Staff here is amazing very helpful as well.

Although other venues in Omaha have better acoustics, a visit to the Orpheum is worth it as a step into the past. In the loge section, opera subtitles are easy to read on electronic boards, hanging down from the balcony above. There are cupholders in the seat backs, and at some shows, they allow the audience to drink in the house.

The Orpheum is amazing! Ive been several times and enjoyed each experience. Ive only ever sat on the balcony but have not had a bad view from any of those seats. The skybridge to the parking garage is a genius idea! The acoustics and general ambiance are amazing and the staff are all quite friendly and helpful. Seats are a bit cramped if youre tall though. My husband is 65 and his knees are basically glued to the back of the seat in front of him.

HAMILTON was amazing at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, NE. The facility was great, well maintained, clean, comfortable, etc. But honestly, the performance was so great, I could have enjoyed this show anywhere! Check out the set, so intricate and they used it to the fullest in every scene. Save up your dollars, buy a ticket and enjoy the artistic creation, HAMILTON from some where in the country.

Such a beautiful theater. We watched Hamilton here last week and had a good time. They could use more restrooms because watching everyone in line for those was heartbreaking. Why I didnt drink the entire duration of the play! ha!

Saw Medea tgere as part of Opera Omaha One Festival. The building is gorgeous and the acoustics were great.

I think the acoustics could use a little work if you are sitting in the back (balcony). Things sound slightly muffled if you are towards the back of the theater. Watched Hamilton and had a good time! I recommend sitting in the orchestra to really get a better appreciation of what youre watching.

This theater is absolutely beautiful and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. They feature shows that will appeal to many different demographics. My one and only gripe is the seating. I purchased season tickets with seats in the loge, and these seats are terrible. They are not slanted like the seats in the balconey, so its virtually impossible to see past all the heads in front of you, especially for someone of short stature, like myself. I have no idea why this level of the theater is constructed that way, but it almost ruins the experience, and changing seats can be a challenge because its all subject to availability.

In town for Les Miserables, great troup and the vocals and orchestra were spot on. Seat spacing for anyone over 5 10 sucks. Otherwise excellent.

A beautiful theatre that offers a phenomenal offering of shows. While they dont offer rush tickets, they do offer a ticket lottery that most people dont know about and is a great way to get high-end tickets for cheap. Will be returning!

I think the building is beautiful and I can appreciate the historical nature of it but seeing shows here are not comfortable at all. I paid $114 to stare at the back of the persons head sitting in front of me because there was just no comfortable way to see around her. The seats are tiny and there is no leg room. There arent enough bathrooms and the price of the refreshments was ridiculous. I dont think well be back.

Im 62 and have a hard time sitting in the seats because of the lack of leg room. But other than that its a really nice theater. There arent any bad seats. Sound quality is good.

The Orpheum Theatre is an gem in the heart of Omaha. I could spend hours here just admiring the architecture. I highly recommend heading downtown early to grab dinner and drinks before the show. There are a number of great restaurants and bars within a few blocks of the theatre. Between downtown and the nearby Blackstone District you never have to go to the same place twice.

Best place ever man! It has the best acoustics, and the best seats you can get! Been going there for a while now, and it is the best place to go! Very nice staff, and very friendly there. It has a great vibe. Very proper too, its nice!

Beautiful venue. Great place to see a play, concert, etc. Need to advertise their happy hour better (runs til 7). Missing the boat there I think. Also need to add value to their super subscriber package to make it worth the money. Overall great experience.

The Orpheum is one of my favorite places in Omaha. The building itself is astonishing in its detail and old school elegance. The staff and volunteers are incredibly friendly and helpful. The shows that come to the Orpheum are very diverse and most often nationally renowned. The beverages and treats are a bit pricey but when considering the cost of upkeep on such an old building, it isnt too absurd.

This review is of the theater not the act we saw.One. The staff us rude & unhelpful! When an usher has to look to find your seat that is 30 ft from where we were!Second. The lightning; slope of view, the size of the chairs (I am 64 215#) in the theater make it impossible to be present in the moment. The spotlight was directly behind us & all we saw was the acts squinting whenever they looked up.We got to watch the top of their heads while they talked; meanwhile I saw a few people in the front row using their phones the whole time!Maybe Omaha needs to get into the current century.Add a screen! Anything! It was 33% empty because people know they cannot see the act.I guess the Conagra mall will make more money...🤣🤣🤣Finally, as for the last many many years, it is impossible to get a drink here! Not that we come here to drink, but letting a group of people do shots 10 minutes before the show that are holding up the whole line...No customer service @ any point! They were all mad & rude.This photo shows how bright & bleached out the entire show was!

Its beautiful. The acoustics are good. The slope of the main floor is a little shallow, so if youre seated behind someone tall your view may be blocked. Otherwise its a great venue.

Its the 2nd time Ive been there..It was a very very beautiful costume it has vibrate colors . Also the background of the film itsamazing colors to go with their theme of the each show... I was shocked how high they jump, and ladies sure are good dancer too.. They all did a wonderful job !!! I loved the show !!😊🎊🎉🎇🎆

Hamilton was unbelievable. Best I have seen. At 6 foot 3 inches and 237 lbs the seats are uncomfortable beyond belief. I understand this theater is built for smaller people a long time ago but that doesnt change my reality. I understand that the place was built in 1927 when Americans were tallat 5 foot 9 so I understand. Beautiful building. Wish it was more comfortable for the big people. Buying a drink was almost impossible because of the lines. Using the restroom was equally difficult. The acoustics were good and the line of sight almost perfect. The theater was secondary to the show....bravo Omaha Arts. Thanks for letting me see a great show.

Took my son to see Paw Patrol live and it was awesome!! He loved it and had so much fun!! The only things I dont like about this place is theres no decent parking and its not free, the concession prices are outrageous, and the elevator is super slow. Otherwise its a beautiful venue and the staff are super nice and helpful.

Wonderful, classic theater entertainment! Went to see Hamilton last fall and it was phenominal! The Nutcracker is an annual classic that will entertain you and make many happy traditions!

The Omaha Orpheum is an absolutely amazing theater with everything you can ask for. There is plenty of parking near the venue, and it is very easy to access downtown. Inside, the staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The architecture inside is amazing, dating back to the early 20th century. There are a variety of shows for all ages, recently including Hamilton, Paw Patrol, Dear Evan Hansen (in 2020), among others. Overall, an amazing place to experience theater and art!

We saw Hamilton today. It was great even with balcony seats we were able to easily see everything. The only problem is the bathrooms at intermission, they just need more. And truthfully you have more room in an airplane seat than you do in the seats. My knees were digging into the seats in front of us.

I have had nothing but good experiences within the theater, and Omaha Performance Arts does a masterful job crafting the lineups for each season. I always look forward to the next performance!

Great theaters! Beautiful space, Clean spacious seating and the food and full bar make it a great date night or pre-downtown bar scene spot.

One of the coolest places in Omaha to go to. The ambiance really sets everything in motion for a great show. So many different areas to check out, make sure you get there early and take pictures before you go into the theatre. If you havent been yet I highly recommend going at least once for a show. You wont regret it.

The Orpheum Theater always has top-notch talent. First-class every time. They just need to have me tune their pianos more often...

Beautiful venue with a convenient location

Beautiful facility, not a bad seat in the house. The acoustics are very good. The bathrooms are always clean and well stocked. They have a nice selection for food and beverages; the lines move fairly quickly. The Orpheum does a wonderful job of bringing great shows to town. I have never attended a performance that I didnt enjoy!

This is one of the most beautiful places to get married in Omaha! The building is so versatile and gorgeous from corner to corner. Their staff is incredible and I could not have had a better experience each and every time I am there! Caitlin was incredibly wonderful to work with! She made the wedding day seamless.

I love coming to the Orpheum and seeing all the different types of performances. I love the historical aspect of the building and the history behind it. The seats are a little small and closely packed together but that is to be expected in a building as old as this. All of the workers and volunteers make this place shine on performance nights. They get a fantastic slate of shows through the year too.

The Orpheum is a grand old theater. It is truly an Omaha treasure. Its architecture is as ornate as some of the old world theaters of the eastern states (like the Fox theater in Atlanta) and of England (the Royal Drury comes to mind). They keep it very clean and the staff is always polite and helpful. There are few bad seats in the house. The acoustics are phenomenal. Concerts and musicals are awesome here. My only criticism is that the seats are old world too. Small and very cramped, my 64 frame isnt very comfortable through a 3 hour Broadway performance. Well worth the experience.

A very beautiful theater with many of the original stylings and designs. The hallways and lobby are well cared for and kept up. We went and saw Hamilton and were up near the top. A bit far away but we could still see and hear everything just fine and it was a quality show. Only downside is that the leg room is a bit restricted, especially if youre taller (Im 60). But thats pretty common in a theater this old. Ill definitely be back again, its nice that we can enjoy the quality Broadway shows here in Omaha.

Beautiful. Quality. Consistently accommodating. Couldnt be a better venue. Except there is only one wheelchair accessible toilet and its in the basement. Thats no good.

There really is not a bad spot in this theater. There a lot of phenomenal productions that are brought here, and the security lines are fast. The parking is easily accessible, but be prepared for a nightmare trying to get out of the parking ramp if you are impatient.

Went to see Aladdin this was a very good show. We were allowed to move seats once the performance started. It was very nice because we were to the side and moving got us more centered. This is a beautiful theater and very well maintained. They offer snacks and drinks and you can use a card or cash to pay. The snacks are a little pricey but I feel that’s expected at this kind of venue. I will definitely be coming to more plays here

Amazing atmosphere and plenty of staff to serve the audience. They make the odd choice of putting all their snacks in cups considering their seats completely lack cupholders, or armrests wide enough to confidently balance a cup on.

Fun old building with some good moulding. I also like how bathrooms are updated and there are many so it goes quickly at intermission. Parking was not so much fun but shows at night probably have better parking.

Its just classic. The concerts and shows you see here feel more personal. Not at all commercialized. I recommend it over the newer places like the one on 14th and Douglas.

We went to the Orpheum with our kids to watch Daniel Tiger Live. It’s always a nice trip to go downtown and watch a live show at this venue. The Orpheum is just a beautiful building and you can tell that the staff truly enjoys being there and are proud to work there. The show was great and the kids loved it. We were fortunate to have center stage seats only about 10 rows back and it was a great time for the whole family. I would definitely recommend visiting the Orpheum if you have a chance and take in one of their shows. Now I can’t say that the shows themselves will be good, but the several we’ve seen there have always been enjoyable.
