During this terrible heat, our a/c unit was not working right. I had an appointment with another company and they said it would be at least a week. I explained my daughter has 2 heart conditions and medical issues and cant handle this heat. I called Wichita and they put me on the standby list and came out later that day. This company exceeded all my expectations when it came to timeliness, service and quality of work. They came out for an annual checkup on our A/C unit and showed up on time and also spent a considerable amount of time making sure everything was working as it should.

AC was not operating properly. A rep from Wichita Heating and Air diagnosed the problem by charging the unit with freon. He went on to said I needed to order a $1,300 part to complete the repair. I have basic knowledge of HVAC systems and what this Wichita HVAC employee was saying did not make sense to me. I called a different, more reputable company (Freds Heating and Air) for a second opinion. That rep said there was literally NOTHING wrong with the unit. After I cooled off (no pun intended) from learning I was almost fleeced out of more than $1,300. I spoke with the owner. I remained calm, however the owner (I cant remember his name, but he has a very high pitched voice) began screaming at me because they had ordered this part and basically demanded that I move forward with the installation. He continued to try to charge me for this part. Folks, I cannot make this up. My recommendation? Go with a more trustworthy company with a more honest and professional owner.

I had an amazing experience with Wichita. I had a furnace die on me and i contacted a couple companies for a quote and they were the only ones that didnt try to oversell me or tried to convince me to get an AC unit as well. Everything was done remotely and i didnt even seen them once but the installation was perfect, and they left the place as clean as It was! I was very lucky to hear about them!!! I will definitely contact them when I need work on any other HVAC issues. Thank you

This is the second time Ramón has been our technician, and he has done a great job both times. He let me know what size humidifier pad to buy so that I can replace it myself. He let us know that our heat pump is still in good shape but will likely need replacement in a few years. He found a setting that was out of calibration and explained why he was adjusting it. Hes not the first technician to work on our system, but I hope hes the only one for a long while!

Just getting a chance to write this review after this summers AC install with Wichita. I got several quotes and talked to several companies and Wichita went above and beyond anything that the others did as far as discussing the install in detail and helping us through the hot months limping through on our existing AC before the new one was available. Wichita offered to top off my leaking Freon multiple times as there was a global supply delay on ACs this summer not allowing my install to happen for about 30 days that was no fault of theirs. They topped off Freon at no cost so we had cold air in the meantime. They offered that even before we found out about the big delay in AC units. They were the ONLY company to offer that to me. In addition, they also happened to be the best quoted price as well for a nice efficient unit. So really, just all around helpful and going above and well beyond just installing a new AC. I am contractor myself so I know the importance of communication and being there for the customer. These guys kept me updated the whole time and were there for us the whole way checking in to make sure my old unit was still cooling in the meantime. I will ONLY use these guys going forward.

Michael came to our house to repair our AC. He also cleaned the furnace. He was so polite and efficient. We truly appreciated his advice and service. I hired this company on 10-24-2019 to replace my heating and air conditioning unit, in my mobile home. They were fantastic, from start to finish! I am extremely happy with their service. I highly recommend them. They even provided me with a temporary a/c unit, free of charge, until they were able to do the work!

I have used a few others over the years. I can officially say that Wichita Heating and Cooling will be my only call for any Heating and AC needs moving forward. They are upfront, set the right expectations, and most importantly they do the job right the first time. They dont play the nickel and dime salesmen upsell game like we see now from others in the industry. I have referred them a few times to friends and co workers. All have had great experiences. Called to have them come out and work on my AC unit and Chris told me they were going to pass as in they wouldnt even come out at all. Theyve done work for me before and were great but I will not be using them anymore unfortunately as they obviously dont want any business.

They did a great job three years ago on heating and cooling install. Three years later, we had a blown capacitor on our AC unit and they came out very quickly on a Saturday and fixed it in one trip. Labor and parts covered under warranty with no hassle.

So far I have had a great experience with Wichita H&C. We moved into this house a few years ago and have been signed up for their bi-annual performance service plan that makes payments monthly for about 2 years now. Our equipment is probably around 8 years old now, so I dont think theyve been put to the test just yet, but so far the service has been great. And Ive seen the same tech, Aldo, for every service - which I really appreciate. Familiar face, some trust built, and hes always very friendly and professional.

We had a very good experience working with Wichita Heating & Cooling. They repaired our old A/C (for free) while we waiting for the new one to be installed. Very competitive pricing and quality work. I was actually quite impressed. They also went above and beyond repairing a valve on our old humidifier (it broke during installation of the A/C).

We just had our new HVAC put in. Very reasonable price. They didnt try to upsell me. They laid out my different options and let me decide. The install crew was great. They stopped what they were doing to shake my hand and introduce themselves when I stopped home from work. They were all very knowledgeable and walked through the system with me when done. They cleaned up very well after the job too. Very happy with my experience overall. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommend Wichita Heating. Our a/c went out earlier this summer. They sent someone out same day to investigate. When found that compressor was out of my 16 year old unit, Bill authorized his guys to get a new motor installed until we could get new a/c and furnace installed

Went above and beyond!

We have used Wichita Heating for the last 15 years in 3 different houses.and had them install a new furnace in one of our older homes. They are excellent at what they do. The technicians are courteous, efficient, and competent and they are HONEST. When we built a house we had to use the builders contractor (Aksarben HVAC) and had nothing but problems including a malfunctioning a/c when first turned on. Once the warranty was over, we called Wichita. I now can sleep easy.
