I could not be any happier with Capital Glass. Their bid was almost 2/3 less than their competitors for the exact same glass. They installed it quick and clean and it looks great!

My wife and I recently bought a house, to which needed two windows repaired. The seller used Capital glass, and because both windows werent replaced before the closing date, my wife and I took over communications with this company. The first time they came, they were able to replace one of the windows. The tenant never knew they were coming to replace their window, and was bogged down by work and could not answer the door(no fault of this company). But, we were able to reschedule! Great! Then, on the rescheduled date, AFTER the rescheduled time, we had to contact them only to figure out they werent coming that day. It would have been nice to have some form of contact, so we could continue on with our lives instead of waiting for a service tech that was never coming. During that phone call, they never rescheduled with us. Today, about a week later, we call them to figure out whats going on and when we can expect them out to replace the other window, and we are told that they have no other jobs in our area, and that we were stuck waiting until they received more work in our area before theyd come back out. Payment had been received, and services had been only partially rendered. So Im stuck waiting for others to need windows, hopefully use THIS company, and pay for their services, wait on their schedule to finish rendering services they are indebted to perform already? Unsatisfactory and unprofessional. So unsatisfied with that i asked for a refund that i may go elsewhere to a company that would actually operate more professionally. Now, this got me talking to someone higher on the payroll than the gal in their office. Very unprofessional phone call. He refused to offer a refund, because he had already ordered the window, yet Im stuck waiting for them to get more business before they will consider coming out to install the window. Since, at this time, I still wasnt able to be given any actual installation date, just that they were expecting some business in our area soon, and i wasnt able to get a refund, i figured this must be a refusal of services paid for. The man assured me it wasnt a refusal, but it was our fault that they couldnt install the glass the the last scheduled day(that would have been the day it snowed and they couldnt offer the professionalism to call and inform us they wouldnt be coming, the day he meant was the first time). But still wouldnt allow for a refund. My next step would have been to report them to the Better Business Bureau, but he worked out that they could be down this Friday, but itd be an additional charge of around $165 to make the trip, since he was pulling a favor for the seller of the house and never charged them the $165 trip charge fee. Im glad that they will finally be installing the window, but at the point of extorting an extra $165 to render services that they are already indebted to perform? doesnt seem right, since i wasnt going to be charged that fee for the rescheduled date that they No-call/No-showed on.If youre looking for professionalism, and staff that wont treat you poorly, I seriously recommend going elsewhere.Ill update my review after they actually install the window on their installation professionalism

Really great folks and a good job all around. They helped me reseal some large skylights and replaced some of the glass in those well. Every step of the job was well done, from the initial estimates to the skylight removal and installation. I would use them again (and probably will with my old house) and would not hesitate to refer them to others. Oh, and they are great to work with, super nice and helpful.

Always helpful, have done several jobs for us. If there is a problem they correct with no problem.

I had a very positive experience working with Capital Glass. They were very responsive and accommodating to scheduling an appointment. They were very helpful and did a wonderful job and reasonable price. I would work with them in the future if I need any more work and highly recommend Capital Glass.The guys were very friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to put up the curtain rod for me :-)

No idea if they are any good at what they do, but their customer service is sorely lacking. Spoke with with the “receptionist” last week to get a simple estimate for a blown window seal. She said the estimator would call me. No one called me. So I called three days later and left a message to remind them.Still no call from them.

Good experience hiring them for stormwindow installation. our house is 100 years old so it took some customization, but their crew stuck with it and it looks good. They also performed a quick and successful vinyl paint replacement. Next up, they are ordering and installing shower glass for our bathroom renovation. Good team at capital glass.

Buyer beware: Click on the BBB link on this business website. It says “out of business”. How can a business give themselves a 5 star rating? (see below). Bottom line is this company needs help. I don’t don’t think Matt knows how to work with the public. Below is my response to his insults and attempts at his justification.Sure wish you would have told me the work order thing and not argued with me. I didn’t know that nor did you or your staff mention it. I would have totally had you do it. Problem is you are not good at customer service. I would recommend you educate yourself and your staff and try to be more personable. One thing in customer service: “the customer is always right”. You can get a lot more with honey than vinegar.Take my advice and try to fix your customer service mindset. It will help you. Quit trying to be right. I was told I would be able to get my simple project done in about a week from start to finish. When the order was taken for the window fix approx $300 I was told to make a deposit by check since their visa machine was down I immediately cut a check and sent proof of my check to them via email. I was told they would order and install asap since I was waiting on this project to sell my home. Later, after two weeks of being strung along, I found out that Matt had not even ordered the specialty glass because he had not found my check. This delay cost me $800. He got loud and spoke over me when I questioned him as to why he was not getting the work done. I would not work with this company as Matts company tells you they can do the job quickly but do not deliver in a timely manor. He also got argumentative and hostile. I will take my business somewhere else. Base on the reviews he has Im guessing this is not the first time this has happened.

We had several windows replaced and the crew that did the work were outstanding. Brian and Zach were our guys and they hustled - there was no walking to get tools. They jogged. They worked as a great team and were respectful of my time and our property. Our windows look amazing - including the brand new cut out window for my office. I hope this company values employees who do such a good job - they are a huge asset!

My 99 year old window did not look easy to replace - but they did it affordably, and well. Ordered the window, came in right when they said it would, and promptly made an appointment to install. Great service, and great work!

Capitol Glass installed two windows for us and did a great job. The job was completed in one day and the installers were friendly and efficient. I would contact them again if I needed windows replaced.

Called several times over the course of a week two weeks ago and never got an answer and was unable to leave a voicemail. Stopped by the following week during regular business hours and nobody was there. Called again this week and still no answer. Im not even sure if this place is still in business.

We have needed Capitols help twice now and pricing and professionalism has been a pleasant addition to the glass installation!

I spent 2 weeks trying to schedule an appt and then when my appt day finally came nobody showed up. I reschedule the appt and again nobody showed up and now i cant get anyone to answer the phone or return my message. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Very unprofessional.

Made an appointment to get an estimate for a broken window. Came home from work and waited around for two hours, no one ever showed. No one even bothered to call, every time I tried to call them all I got was voicemail. Do yourself a favor don’t support this business.

Made and appointment, guys showed up to measure, got a quote, put half down...and then nothing. Can’t get a response by phone. Business has ‘moved’ with only a phone number to contact by (no forwarding address and NO ANSWER at phone number). I’m so tired of trying to support local businesses in Olympia.

Ive made appointments twice for an estimate and they didnt bother to show up, call or reschedule...they just chose not to come.
