We went for an oil change to Garys point S Tire. My mother explained that the gentleman who helped her do the oil change is very kind and cordial. He explained everything in detail very patiently and clearly. The price for oil change is very reasonable compared to other places! We highly recommend Garys point S Tire. I did an extensive google search to find the best place for oil change and other stuff that needs to be done and Garys point S Tire has the highest satisfactory reviews and 5 stars. We just moved to the state of Washington from another State and I had to educate myself about the best places to take your car to. Were new to the Lacy area, and needed a new auto mechanic. We asked neighbors for recommendations, and a couple of them mentioned Garys. We were very pleased with them. Easy to get an appointment, and much better price than local car dealer for same 60,000 mile servicing. I will return next time I need work.

I hardly ever post negative reviews but unfortunately we need to address a customer service and quality issue we experienced with Gary’s Point S. Several weeks ago my husband went in to Gary’s Point S to order tires and rims for his truck. He spent approximately an hour with a representative going over options and agreeing on what to order. My husband out a downpayment on the work and scheduled a date for the tires, rims, and leveling kit to be installed. We dropped his truck off at the requested time on the date of our appointment. About half way through the day, one of the technicians called to let him know that the leveling kit had been installed however they didn’t have the tires or rims needed for his truck. They stated that what they ordered were the wrong size for his truck. This was obviously disappointing given that my husband had spent an hour with a staff member going over his options prior to ordering. My husband went down to Gary’s Point S to talk over the options in person. The options offered by the staff were to pay more money for different tires and rims that what was offered or to walk away with the leveling kit. We were, at that point, upset and dissatisfied. We relied to Gary’s Point S provide their knowledge and expertise to get the job done. We were disappointed to find that they began work on our truck without ensuring all the appropriate parts were in the shop. Not only that, the staff in the office did not offer any sort of compromise for making this error right. We were going to be expected to pay the difference between our quote and their error. Had they come to us with a reasonable offer to negotiate this discrepancy, we would have remained their customer. Their lack of ability to right this wrong lead to us picking up our truck and now finding a new Tire center to find rims and tires. I hope this was just a glitch, human error, or a bad day for Gary Point S, but we decided to take our cash elsewhere.

I did some research on a dozen tires for my wifes car. Decided to stop in to Garys on my way home from work, per my folks suggestion. My parents are elderly and very VERY picky with whom they give their business to. Weve had some bad experiences with another tire shop that weve been loyal to for 20 years. I didnt realize when I got to Garys, that theyre 3 minutes to closing. No problem! The associates welcome me in and assisted with my inquiry. After a brief discussion of our needs and what Id found, the guys suggested one of the tires I was looking at, which they sell. No up selling, no gimmicks. Just honest suggestions for overall needs in the PNW climate and cost effective. I was there well after their closing time. No one rushed me out or tried to get me to settle so I could leave. And their installation was fast! Tires came in 2 days later and we anticipated at least an hour for mount and balance.They had our car ready in just over 20 minutes! These guys are honest, straight forward, efficient, and have high integrity.Great service, great customer experience. Highly recommended!

This place is absolutely wonderful!I had put off getting breaks for dangerously too long. I stopped in on whim after reading previous reviews & wasnt disappointed.Mike and his team were very busy, but still made me feel like a VIP.Mike was honest and through explaining my options. He made multiple calls to his vendors trying to get me the lowest price for the parts needed.They serviced my vehicle immediately because it was unsafe to drive even one more mile.They went above and beyond!! I’d had a blowout on my seven year old travel trailer and needed four new tires. I chose Goodyear based on web reviews and Gary’s Point S the same way. Great reviews for Gary’s and they didn’t disappoint.The tires I needed were not in stock and back ordered from Goodyear, but Mark said he’d check locally and get back to me. That took fifteen minutes and he’d located what I asked for. He promised to call me the next morning as soon as they arrived.I got the call at 8:00 AM, arrived at the shop at 8:30, and left before 9:30 with all four mounted and balanced and the spare remounted on its carrier. Great service at a fair price. I can’t think of anything they could have done to make it a better experience.

They replaced my flat tire for a reasonable price and the service was fast and friendly.

Last week my sons engine blew due to lack of oil change. It happened on Martin Way near Garys, so thats where he took his car. It was closing time but the 2 guys working took pity on my son. They suspected it was a blown engine, but to make sure gave him an oil change...even though they were closing. Sure enough, the engines toast. I loaned him my car while he searches for an engine but asked that he get an oil change as I havent had one. My car is 6 years old but only has 14K miles. I was under the impression that if you dont drive much, you dont need to change your oil. WRONG!!! He took it to Garys today and they said it was chunky...not good at all! They gave it a good cleaning and hell take it back in 1K miles for another. Before he took it to Garys for an oil change, he took it to another place. They couldnt get the dip stick out. They asked my son to try as they didnt want to break it. He couldnt do it either. He took it to the KIA dealer and they couldnt get it out, either. He was going to have to drop it off and have them work on it to get it loose?!?! He thought about Garys and how helpful they were last week. Guess what? They got the dip stick out!!! Garys is GREAT!!! We totally recommend them for just about anything car related. I think they may have an engine for his car, too. We love Garys!!

I recently started having them do my oil changes too, the staff is very professional and always willing to explain any & all work done to my vehicles.

I stopped here on my way home with a Motorcycle front tire flat. Tommy informed me they do not fix motorcycle tires. I requested a little air to see if it would take he provided the air and we verified it was the air stem fail. With a cardboard he managed to keep that stem to hold air. Took my car here to find out why it was acting oddly at 30 mph and they tried to tell me I needed brakes badly.so badly that the guy kept saying are you sure? When I said I was sure and to charge me for the diagnostic.they didnt know what was wrong with it but still charged me 100$ for it.qhen I got the estimate on the brakes I found out why he wanted to do the brakes INSTEAD THEY WOULDVE COST ME 600$ DONT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEM EVER

Ive been going to Garys Tire since I was a young girl with my Dad. The service was great then and still is. Every gentleman I encountered there was nothing less than polite. I needed a flat tire fixed a new battery. They went above and beyond to make sure it was only my battery and not a bigger problem with my car. Ill be back!

Headed to Oregon on a family road trip and back tire went flat. Went to another chain tire company down the road took all our luggage out of the car and waited 20 min. to find out there was a 3 hour wait!. We called Gary and he said he could get us right in. Pulled up excellent customer service!!!!! We got our tire changed & another tire patched in the time the other company wasted. Highly recommend.

Gary’s point S is great, Mark was very helpful from 1st contact and the guys in the back did perfect work. They have great equipment and training which a lot of shops may but what really sets them apart is culture, the only way you mount tires and not scratch rims and deliver perfect work is through culture from top down, throughly satisfied from two separate occasions.

Went in for flat repair. Tire was non repairable and they were able to get me back on the road with a new tire within the hour! Would recommend!

Jerry met another shops price on tires. Shop employees are respectful and seem to know what they are doing. I always feel like I get a fair deal at Gary’s and I think they care about respecting the customer.Had to go back and use torque wrench on lug nuts as they were put back on with only the air wrench.

Dropped my truck off for tires and an service inspection with an oil change. Tires were done within 15 minutes and oil change in a half hour. While my truck was in for the tires, they inspected suspension, rotors and pads at no charge. While my truck was in for its oil change, they inspected belts, air and fuel lines, fluid levels, and completed the full oil change service. Great service and customer service.

Great experience!! We were visiting our daughter and needed some minor work done on her car. Garys was the only place that offered to get it done that day. They were friendly, professional and honest. We thought she needed new brakes but they said nope, just an oil change. Also cleaned off her battery and gave the entire car a good once over for free.

Great customer service! I have now brought in 2 tires with nails stuck in them. The first time was about 5 months ago and I was not charged for the tire repair which was great! I thought I just got lucky that day, but I brought in my 2nd tire needing repair today and again excellent customer service and no charge for the tire repair. The tech unloaded and loaded the tire in and out of my car and was done with the repair in less than 10 mins. This place is awesome! The crew at Gary’s Point S are the best!! My husband and I had never done business there but heard about them by word of mouth. We rolled in for a flat repair and they took care of us at no charge. I tried paying but they wouldn’t accept anything. They said just come back when you need new tires. Another complimentary flat repair on our other vehicle later, we did exactly that. We bought 4 new Toyo tires for our Toyota Sienna and got a great deal. Can’t say enough great things about this place. They’re always so helpful and friendly. I took my truck in for an alignment after doing some front suspension and steering work. Garys Point S took care of me more than expected. These guys are awesome. I was really taken care of there when other shops didnt have the right tools to raise my lowered car. I had air in my brake lines and I was when I left I immediately felt the difference after they properly bled my brakes. The staff is very helpful and they have good prices. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is because brake fluid was left to drip all over my calipers, ruining the paint on all the calipers, my fault for not double checking and wiping it off. I just have to repaint the calipers. Small inconvenience for me.Mike did a great job and took great care of me and my car, will come back. 100% reccomend

We weren’t sure how a certain size tire would look on my vehicle and it just so happened that Jerry had the same size on his personal vehicle. So they pulled them both in the shop and mounted his tires on mine. Perfect fit and perfect look! High praise for Jerry and his team. Hard to find customer service like that anymore.

Went in Wednesday for an oil change lube and tire rotation and I was out the door in 20 minutes I love GarysTuesday September 28th, I had my oil change again. Got the oil change with filter and lube for only $35. Really good deal for such quality service!!

Had an appointment at showed up early and they started right away. Had 4 tires changed. Was there for maybe an hour. They were trying to be careful with my wheels because I had plasti dipped them. They did great work. My opinion its pricey but you get what you pay for and I would definitely Recommend going there. I will definitely be going back for any other maintenance I need.

I brought my SUV in after one of the tires suddenly went flat. The staff at Garys was outstanding. They got me in immediately, investigated the cause of the flat (small nail), whether it was safe to repair, and promptly patched it. I was very impressed with the kindness of the staff, and one, Johnny, took the time to explain what he was doing as he did it. The whole place had a laid back but professional vibe. Although they wouldn’t mount 37” tires in my Volvo they didn’t mount two 16” tires and it was a great experience. I bought the tires from an online retailer and they had no issues installing. And it was a fair price compared to another place I checked.
