I came friday 5/8/2020 to rent a Uhaul from these “NICE PEOPLE” and because I had cash, I had to pay a $100 deposit and $57 for the estimate of mileage on the truck I rented. The next day I went to pick up my deposit and the lady at front desk argued with me saying that I paid her only $100 and that she never received $160 from me. Y’all I work hard for my money and for these people to steal from me, and only gave me $46 dollars back, that hurt me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES!!!!!!!!!IF YOU DO MAKE SURE YOU KEEP YOUR RECEIPT BECAUSE SHE NEVER GAVE ME ONE😔

I went in to rent a uhaul, I had reserved a truck online to go pick up some furniture I had ordered. I had previously used used uhaul before using this same mobile method. The only difference was when I got to this location when I went to verify the vehicle it was surrounded by truck on all sides, so basically pinned in. At the point I already had a mobile contract and just needed the keys. The clerk inside told me that she would just give me a truck that was parked in front so that they would not have to move any other trucks. So without any contract or me signing anything she gave me keys to a new truck, grabbed a dolly which I had ordered and led me to the new truck. At this point no paperwork has been signed and no mileage check or walk around has been done. (Later the clerk tells me that she verified the mileage twice, keep in mind shes been sitting in front of me the entire time) Everything SEEMED fine, I got the truck, picked up my furniture, dropped it at my home which is walking distance from the uhaul and then I returned the truck. When I came in she said oh just leave the keys, while she was on the phone. I thought it was weird she didnt come out to verify anything but that was me thinking she was a decent representative of uhaul. I get a charge an hour later for 3 times the amount I knew it should have costed. Called the same uhaul and she tells me that I drove 238 miles, in 3 hrs. I told her that I picked up furniture 20 miles away unloaded it and returned it. She claimed to be only the messenger, when I had the receipt from the two different stores with times, so it would be literally impossible to stop at both these places in 3 hrs plus drive 200 miles. She was confusing, saying that she understood but I still needed to pay the $188 for an in town rental in which no one ever verified the mileage.
