Brantley Funeral Home and the staff were completely professional and there for us during our time of need. No services or advance arrangements had been made but the Funeral Director was very patient and kind and gave us all the time we needed. I will and would recommend Brantley Funeral Home to others when their need arises.

My mother recently passed away. Brantley Funeral home is where we had the viewing and the services. They handled everything with the utmost respect and dignity every one there was very polite and helpful to me and my family. It is the same place we had my dad’s funeral it was ten years ago and the service was and still is exceptional I would highly recommend them

Our daughter passed 3/15/21. In the 5+ months that followed, we spent many hours not only grieving but also aggravated by the handling of her services by the Brantley Funeral Home. Amber, the funeral director, noted that every issue was due to someone not knowing. It’s the funeral director’s job to make sure they know.We scheduled an appointment at 2 p.m. when we arrived, they told us it was 1 p.m. and had to come back tomorrow. This should have been our first hint as to what was to come.Amber confirmed we could use the viewing room for the visitation, the chapel for the service and the Banquet room for catering. When we arrived to do her make-up she was in the viewing room. Without telling us she was moved to the Chapel for the visitation and service. When we asked the staff why we were told “they didn’t know”. Amber told us it was due to covid.Amber told us to pick the first 5 pictures we wanted to start her online memorial wall and DVD. They would also be used in the program along with a quote we selected. She said if we had a lot of pictures we could upload up to 20 at a time, which we did. We were never contacted about which five pictures to use they decided themselves. Also, the quote was not what we selected. It was a Frank Sinatra quote about being happy as a man! We had to call Amber and ask why she didn’t consult us before uploading the pictures. She said she just picked the first 5 she saw. We asked her to put the picture of our family first and she didn’t even remember what we looked like! We also had to ask her to change the man quote to the one we picked!Amber told us to pick 5 songs that would be played throughout the services. We spent hours picking out what we thought were the perfect songs for our child. However, at no point did Brantley play any of the music! The staff said “they didn’t know” and didn’t have any songs. We ordered the $1000.00 catering service for 50 to 70 people. We did not receive all the selections we asked for and ran out of many of the items before the first 30 people. I know this to be true because I was one of the first 15 people there in order to greet guests and they didn’t have the items I actually selected! Question, why were we able to use the smaller banquet room for 50 to 70 people but not able to use the larger viewing room? Our package included a fingerprint necklace. My wife called several times asking when we would get the necklace. Each time she called she was told it is not in the vault so it hasn’t come in yet and they would let us know when it comes in. Her last call was 8/4/21 and they said the same thing. Because they never called back we called the Dignity Memorial Corporate office about the necklace on 8/23/21. We finally received a call on 8/24/21 saying it would be here in a week. Then on 8/26/21 it was there? We asked why it took so long and the answer was “I don’t know”. However, it clearly shows on the packing slip it was ordered on 8/4/21. See uploaded packing slip.We chose Brantley/Dignity Memorial because of “Attention to detail like no other GUARANTEED” website moto. We called the corporate office so many times to file a complaint. Each time we were told an area supervisor would call back. We were finally told the complaints were not entered into a computer but placed on a board for the supervisor. Basically, our complaint was taken down and never addressed until we said we would call the BBB and call daily until someone responded. There are other issues that wouldn’t fit in this review. We spent too much time during the funeral and since then agonizing over the details and waiting for answers when we should have been focused on our loss. What’s amazing is that throughout everything Amber never once apologized for anything. It was always “they didn’t know” or they will fix it. The problem with this is the damage is already done. Apparently, they don’t know how to pay attention to detail!Maybe Dignity Memorial should honor their “satisfaction or money back guarantee” by donating the money to a charity of our choice in our daughter’s name?

Brantley Funeral home did a wonderful job taking care of our family during a time of sadness. From the start they were very hands on helping, and planning every detail within the budget we were on. Thank you to all the staff who brought some happiness in our time of need, you can shop around, but never will find a better team of people, we feel almost like part of their family. Thank you

In planning our funerals in advance I had the opportunity to visit with the representatives at Brantley Funeral HOme in Olive Branch. They were very professional. They did not pressure me in any way. Listened to what I had to say and showed me my options after listening. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to prearrange their funeral to take the pressure off you loved ones.

Very professional, competent, and courteous. There was none of that fake sympathy you find at many funeral homes. Gene, Troy and Allen directed a beautiful service for my father, who was a World War II veteran. Modern, up to date facility. If you live in or near Olive Branch, Mississippi, this is the place to go when or before the need arises.

I wanted to thank all of you for doing such a great job on my sister’s passing. Troy Smith was professional, caring and patient with me as I told him what I wanted. He recorded her music box so that it played during her viewing. We appreciate him so much for making sure she looked natural, she was down to about 50 lbs and we were sure we wouldn’t be able to view her, so when we saw her we were surprised and grateful. Ms. Lisa was a sweetheart she made the little sign with Minnie Mouse on it and worked with our deflating balloons. The staff for the viewing and graveside were professional and courteous. All and all your staff did a great job and we are thankful.

Internal communication leaves much to be desired for what once was known at Brantley. Astounding & infuriating to have our guests call in only to be told it was a private service. I delivered framed photos at 9:30 am on the day of the service to be held at 2:00 and when I arrived at 1:15 no one on staff knew anything it or where they were. The agenda was not the most current I provided to the director (happily it was an internal document and not printed for all guests). On the positive side, the body preparation looked nice as did the coffin. The delivery to the cemetery was handled well. So you get the Gentlemans C and a hardy it could have been worse. I have two more pre-paid so I suppose we will meet again. Try to get it together before our next family death, please.

I could never thank everyone at Brantley enough . Losing my husband was devastating but working with Amber & Sharon made the arrangements much easier on me. Everything was very professional but personal at the same time . Having the food catered was such a plus for those who were at the funeral home for a long period of time. The visitation & the funeral went so smooth and many people complimented me on how everything looked . I highly recommend Brantley Funeral Home to anyone going through this stressful time.

Troy and the entire staff at Brantley Funeral Home treated us like family! The respect and sincerity were far above what I ever expected. They took care of every need we had without even being ask. At our families lowest point Troy and his team took care of everything so we did not have to question or worry about anything.

My daughter passed away suddenly and I was pretty much in a state of shock. I called a couple places, in disbelief I was even doing that, and I wanted direct answers and help. Luckily someone told me at Brantley to talk to Troy and they were right, he was exactly who I needed to guide me through this horrible time. He explained every question I had and handled everything for me as I was pretty much incapable of doing anything. Thank you Troy and Brantley.

Everyone at Brantley has been absolutely great. They were all helpful in the two hardest times of my life. With the service for my mom almost 4 years ago and then with my dad this month. They were there everytime I had a question about to do next. They made this terrible situation alot easier for my family.
