I went to have an oil change on the 6th. I have always gone here since I bought my car 2 years ago. During the first ok change I heard the guy underneath ask another guy if all the screws were there for the skid plate. The other guy replied with yes. Ive been there multiple times since. This last time though they only put back 3 screws. I did not noticed til I heard it making noise while on the highway. My skid plate is completely ruined. I am so mad. I take extremely good care of my car. And now its messed up. Why be lazy and not put all the screws back in? They are the ONLY ones that have been under my car or hood since I bought it. I will not be going back. I have filed a claim and I really hope they replace the skid plate. This is unacceptable.

They are really slow. This location supposed to open at 8am. There are two of us waiting in line and they have not opened yet, it’s 8:23am. We can see the employees walking around in there and no one has came out to say anything to us. Bad customer service!

I came in for an oil change today & my car was able to get an oil evac, vs a regular cold drain will my oil change. Ask about it next time you come in. Its completely safe for your car and will completely drain your entire pan of every drop of dirty oil. Plus, its really cool to watch.

Fast quick priced right. The windshield wipers that took em 45 minutes came off first time I used them. I will never use valvoline oil service again.

Honestly I just posted that because I felt so bad for the mechanics.Enjoy the Read.Following the oil change service I received at Valvoline, my car was towed to D and J Auto to repair the Oil tank assembly.Mechanics who were providing me with a 15 minute oil change ended up needing to take five hours in order to remove the stripping that was cleft after breaking the cap of my oil tank assembly. They replaced it with a new one, and when they were done I drove away when subsequently every error an engine light went off in my car. I drove it back where it had to be towed to D and J auto to get the complete oil tank assembly replaced.When I went to pick up the vehicle the shifter was in 3 pieces and they had said it was broken prior to arrival. It to not be able to be fully in park until so the key can be released. I can attest that it did not take the complete dissembley of my gear shift and a screwdriver in order to put my car into park and remove my key prior to taking it to Valvoline for service.Their customer care team has drag their feet on this for the past two weeks and honestly I am done. I had to keep calling in order to get somebody’s attention about the situation I wasn’t able to get a hold of their actual regional manager until this past Tuesday. When I explain the situation to him he told me that oh don’t worry we’ll get this taken care of will get this paid for I’ll let you know ASAP what it’s going on. That never happened. I had to call him today to get a straight answer from them because I still had never heard back. Today I was told that because the car was out of their care that it wasn’t Valvolines problem.I’ve never left a post like this on any organizations page I understand that sometimes things are hard and people work hard. I left my car in the care of Valvoline, they payed for the tow truck they paid for the repairs, and when I went to pick up my car something else was broken. I am so frustrated. When I asked to speak to this individual supervisor he said while he may not get back to you today.D and J quoted the part costing over $500 (you know because of labor). I did a quick google and the part cost like $13-15 :)Hope folks read this and take stock in the story. I just moved to Lenexa and this situation Has me so burnt out on people fixing my car because honestly I don’t trust anyone to take care of it.

Great customer service from most of the staff. I dropped a star because there was 1 seemingly new guy acted like he knew what he was talking about but clearly didnt. He needed to be pulled aside and seriously retrained instead of giving customers false info.

The 1st time in many years that the personnel had all shown professionalism and knowledge and they deserve a thumbs up on this review. Hi hope it continues as I will continue using their facility if they maintain some personnel consistently.

We paid $140 for an oil change and over inflated tires. We were also told our fluids were good but our washer fluid was pretty low when we went in and still low when we left. This place has very friendly staff but all in all it is a very disappointing and sub par experience. The dealer is cheaper and has better communication.

I visited Valvoline on Santa Fe for the first time yesterday, and I was very impressed with the service that I received. Dakota is the assistant manager, and he was very professional, thorough, and detailed in what was happening. He answered all of my questions, and they even went above and beyond when fixing a stripped plug. I will definitely be returning.

If there are any cars in line expect a long wait as this location is very slow. Also, expect an up-sales experience as they hit you with lots of extra services. Perhaps if they were more focused on the actual quick, efficient oil change they would provide a better experience.

No matter what time I go there, their staff is always fun and friendly. I enjoy my time with them and feel that theyre very knowledgable.

My oil change was terrible. My car takes 8 quarts of oil they only put 6 quarts in it. Lucky for me I checked their work. They spilled oil all over my engine and the oil filter they put on was loose and covered in grease. I am missing a cap to one of my tires after they checked my tire pressure. Always check their work if you go there.

These people are the best!!! My husband came in and saw Jennifer, William, and Emily (in September) and I brought in my car and saw Jennifer, Christina, and Emily. Excellent service and I didnt even have to get out of my car- just waited fifteen minutes while they did the oil change! I usually have to wait 45-60min at the dealership. Friendly, knowledgeable and very professional- we cant wait to come back! Thanks again, team!

Took our vehicle in for oil change. Immediately out of the bay was a massive trail of a leak to our house and all over our driveway! They informed me it’s not their fault because it was a transmission line and they don’t touch that. Sorry but if a vehicle enters your shop without an issue or leak but then drives out with a massive leak how can you think that’s not your doing? I was very disappointed at how this incident was handled by their representatives. I urge folks to do business elsewhere.

I got in quickly and had great customer service. They found my oil and transmission fluid levels were way too high from a recent Jiffy Lube oil change and got me back to the right levels. All around great service!

This was a comical experience. They did do our oil change but not before they spent 5 minutes and had 3 people try to open the hood. Seriously, it took 5 minutes and 3 people while we sat in the car and watched them. Then they checked the air filter. This took 2 people and 10 minutes. They got it out and could not get it reinstalled. They had to have someone else come over and finally get it installed. Now, I vhange my oil most of the time, so I know how to do these things. I just did an oil change in 15 minutes in my garage on the same car. Mostly a lack of experience.

My experience was very poor for this place. I have never been treated so rudely by what I believe to be the manager. I waited in line 20 minutes to be treated rudely and left without a change because I do have alternatives and they treat me like they appreciate my business. Ladies, dont fall for this place.I am a very trusting and friendly person. This place is not where I will do business. By the way, 1 star is too many but I was required to put one in.

I always love my trips to Valvoline. Ive started coming here because I like the staff. They are extremely friendly and not aggressive with their up-sales. They are usually really quick to get you in and out. Definitely use them next time.

Jonathan and Tristan were amazing. Jonathan very spoken young man. Knows his stuff I was going to get a service that was way more expensive than what I needed to get done today. Jonathan educated me about my problem and my car runs sooo much better I took it on the highway and it just floats. Thank you very much for the experience today. Very slow one car in front of me and it took over an hour and a half. The only got an oil Chang I only got an oil change and it still took that long

Stopped by on Monday afternoon and was never greeted by anyone. There were 2 cars in the bays being worked on, but I waited for over 45 min and still nothing. Saw employees come in and go out but not once was I greeted or told hey these are going to long servicesdo you want to wait? I frequent this location all the time because it is around the corner from our office . Used to be a great location but lately it is severely lacking in customer service.

I stopped in for an oil change and new wipers. The staff did a fantastic job. They were quick, efficient, and gave me all the available options without being pushy. Thank you guys. I will come back.

Fast service by friendly guys. Only two bays at this location, so there is usually a short wait, but they are good at greeting new arrivals and letting them know how long the wait is. Ive only had oil changes done, but I know they offer a range of services and Ive watched them do a transmission service about as fast as anyone can.

Prices, depends on what you have them do! They do their best to sell you stuff you dont really need, especially towards women who they may think dont have any idea of how their car works! All I wanted done was an oil change, they tried selling me a different grade of oil not recommended for my car, a new battery- which my battery was fine. A full line of parts which my car dont need....

When I entered the stall I noticed a young man came up to my car with a a woman right behind him. It didnt tack long to understand that She ( JenniferI found out at the end )was training this young man along with another and a young lady.The service I reaceived from this group of employees has been the best service I have received at any Valvoline. Thank you for an enjoyable experience. I hope this group stays around.

Fast service

I had a great experience at this Valvoline over the weekend. The location closest to me has recently closed so this was my first time at this particular location. While it is smaller than some others (only 2 bays) the service was still very quick. Both bays were occupied when I pulled up but the associate was quick to greet me and let me know that service was being finished on one of the vehicles and Id be helped shortly. I didnt feel pressured to buy services that I didnt need and got my oil changed and tires rotated quickly and easily. I had a Groupon that they happily accepted and made the statement of charges very clear.

The guys got me in last minute and took great care of me and my car!

They are freaky fast. After waiting over an hour to get oil changes in the past I switched to Valvoline. No appointment is needed and they get oil changes done freaky fast.

Will, one of their managers, went the extra mile and did a great job... Great guy with a great work ethic.

Just informing the world that this place makes you do part of their job for them: you have to stay in the vehicle and help them check the lights. So, its not full service. You might like that. Perhaps thats a plus that makes it a 5-star place for you. I found it horrible. I dont want to hear them work. I want to sit somewhere and pretend to enjoy some horrible, warm coffee, like you can do at other places. Not my ideal place-- its just a preference, so Im not giving a poor rating.

Our initial visit seemed good, but afterwards, our car started having problems, so I took it back. The man there claimed it was a problem with our radiator, nothing connected to what they had done. I took the car to a garage and they showed me there was nothing wrong with the radiator. Valvoline had connected some things incorrectly. We had had our cars serviced at Valvoline for years in Kentucky and were glad to see one in Kansas. We are so disappointed!

Bad bad worst service

The guys here were superb. By far the best oil change experience I have had. They were friendly, quick, and kept me in the loop the whole time as to what they were doing.Never felt like a burden, or like I was annoying them. I would go here again in a heartbeat, and will. And Id recommend this location to anyone.My two best experiences with oil changes have been with valvoline. Here and in blue springs.And they have groupons a lot too, so you can save some money to try them out.

I have been having my oil changed here for a while I love how fast, efficient and informative they are. The staff has always been wonderful every time. I cant say enough good things about William the manager, he took the time to hear me out and look into some things i had questions about. HE IS WONDERFUL!! This place has made me a regular customer because of their honesty and dedication to hearing out my concerns.I have had some horrible experiences with oil changes in the past, I have been taken advantage of and even had a guy do something called rubbing a hole in my ATF hose after i had an oil change. They thought i told them i had an oil leak. ( i had told them i had a hard time reading my dipstick because oil was all over it... so once they saw i didnt have an actual leak...they made one) I told my family mechanic that i was worried they gave it to me and after inspection he said he found clear evidence of a rubbed hole DO NOT GO TO CALVERTS!!!!!!!!!)Thank you Valvoline for giving me a piece of mind and not having to fear of having my oil changed anymore. That in its self does so much for someone who has had a rough go at something that should be so simple. If i could, I would give them 20 stars.

Quick but pricey. more than $62 after a $10 off coupon for a synthetic blend oil change.

The employees pulled out my air filter told me it was filthy when it really wasnt that dirty then pulled out my cabin air filter which was extremely dirty told me that one would be $40 to replace, not knowing about cars I asked if thats how much they are everywhere because I didnt particularly have an extra $40 to spend. Come to find out I can go to a parts store and get one for $15. I cant stand places that lie to customers especially customers who obviously dont know about cars.
