Mona is always pleasant, listens to you and then offers her considered, and expert, opinion. And you can be sure that when shes done, the item will fit properly. When I need something altered, I dont even THINK about going to someone else.

I cannot express how fabulous Mona’s Alterations is!! I’m getting married in a couple of weeks and I had numerous dresses to bring in for alterations over the past year. Mona is personable and wants you to look an feel your best in everything you wear. She gives her honest opinion if something will look good or not as well as if the fabric will respond well to what you’re asking for. I also have 11 bridesmaids and she did their dresses as well which I’m sure was no easy task! She is so fast and reliable, and sincerely one of the nicest people I have ever met! I will never go anywhere else for alterations— Mona, you’re my girl!!!

We visited from the west coast for a wedding and needed our clothes pressed a day before the event.Although Mona seemed super busy she took our clothes and had them done when she said they would be ready. Plus, they looked great!Super friendly service!

This is the best tailoring shop in the entire Kansas City metropolitan area. I was just at this business today (01 July 2016). I watched about 5 patrons come into the shop and Mona knew them all by name and produced their clothing without the client producing a receipt. Now that is pretty amazing. Reasonable prices, fantastic service by name is so unusual that youll be back.

I have been going to Monas Alterations & Cleaners since they opened a few years ago. Mona is a delightful person. She has done everything from hemming pant legs to making adjustments to suits and jackets and even replacing a zipper. She and her staff have always completed the jobs on time, with great work at a reasonable price.
