I was an Allstate customer for 10+ years, covering home, auto and umbrella. Through all of this years, all agents I had were responsive and proactive. Well.. until this past summer.Long story short, I moved from a different city a couple of years ago and decided to switch to a local agent, when I chose Jeremy Schafer. As I refinanced my home mortgage this past summer, the agency and the bank had a miscommunication about the insurance, consequently the payment was not on time. It cost me about $350 extra. The agency was never proactive enough to let me know the delay, or made any effort to compensate me. I decided to quote with other insurance companies and have moved all my insurance to another company.

I had Jeremy Schafer All-State for a few years. When I changed to progressive I had to call up 3 separate times to cancel my policy.The first time I called up was a month prior to the renewal. They did not cancel EITHER of my policies and if I hadnt turned off auto-renewal, I wouldve been charged.The second time I called up, after they sent me late fees and additonal bills for a policy I had already tried to cancel, they then cancelled only my auto policy, I was sent more notices of payment due for the renters.The THIRD time I called them, I was told the renters wasnt cancelled due to a glitch in the systemMy cancellations didnt go through due to:1.) Carelessness on Jeremy Schafers part2.) Lack of attention to detail3.) This one is unlikely but, hoping I didnt notice potentially.Be aware of this experience with this insurance agent.I have since moved all my insurance to another company, I recommend the same to others.

Unlike other insurance agents you feel Mr. Steve wouldnt pressure you for anything and you literally can feel that he is in your team, He perfectly details and explains things so when you leave you dont carry any question marks with you. He is the best in the area. These guys helped us for our new home and auto insurance, and not only saved us lots of $$ but also make us feel welcome since the first moment, represent their offers perfectly, explained in detail then we made our comparison with other companies and it was no brainer to be back and work with them. 5 stars all around. !!!!
