Emily was very professional and knowledgeable about all the wax and every product she used throughout my appointment. She made a Brazilian almost painless compared to anywhere else I have been! Jordan always does an amazing job - she is super sweet and makes you feel very comfortable, she always remembers me and now I have become a regular. She is quick, technically smart about waxing and skin, and helpful with product selection. She pays attention to detail and ensures every hair is removed. Ive been waxing for almost ten years and she is without a doubt the best Esthetician Ive had. I will always book with her! Alana at the front desk is also a total sweetheart! I found this place to do my Brazilian Wax and lash lift. Sierra was not only professional, but very efficient and communicative. She did a great job & Id come back often if I lived near this place. Sierra is AMAZING!! I just had my brows henna tinted and they look so good! She’s able to put you at ease during wax sessions and she’s quick! I’ve been to her twice, but I plan on using her from now on.

I had my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Veronica! She was fantastic she listened to what I wanted and was very meticulous about delivering on exactly what I expected. She explains every step and is a great conversationalist. I’m more then pleased with the entire interaction!!!

I went here for a Brazilian and full leg wax! Very cute and clean environment ! Professional staff! Very friendly and informative! I would definitely recommend this waxing salon ! Sierra is my esthetician and I love her! She always has quality work and is very consistent. She’s a great conversationalist and makes you feel very welcome. The establishment is always clean, and very timely. I would recommend here to any of my friends.

I was coming to Jordan, a friend and my waxer, who does EXCELLENT work. However, the owner was rude and disrespectful. I was so happy when Jordan told me she quit because I dreaded coming here. Jordan is amazing - the owner of this location - not so much. I referred Jordan to one of my clients who also refuses to go back because of how rude Maleya is. I really hope the owner learns some respect. And she wonders why she cant keep anyone employed there - news flash, employees deserve to be respected not lashed out at. and yes I have heard her scream at an employee once during my appointment.

I love this place Emily is so awsome and the best i will be coming back here on a regular basis to see her she is so soothing and kind and her work is out of this world. Also the front desk lady is very sweet too.

She does such a good job i always tip her, wich i never do when i get my nails, pedicure, hair, or when I waz waxing at other places before. I will always book with Jordan and you should too!. She deserves all of her flowers.(Ladies at the front are nice as well)

Do not recommend the girls at this place or find their customer service is just poor that’s all I was charged an extra $30 on one of the worst weather days due to the fact that I was caught another appointment that I couldn’t just walk away from call to let them know in advance that I was not going to make it and was still charged a no-show fee basically I don’t think it is fair that they charge you if you’ve called them up and notified them that you will not be showing up to an appointment because you don’t have a choice... I think it’s poorly ran business

I went in for my first professional bikini wax. I used Ashlei and she was fantastic! The process was near painless. She took her time and didnt do large sections. Her area was very clean. She is VERY kind, easy to talk to, and makes you fell very comfortable.

I am very happy with everything about this place. Every-time I come here I get amazing friendly service. Every one here is amazing if you are in need of waxing this is the only place to go.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tresha For my Brazilian Wax. It was a super fun experience, tresha is very knowledgeable. I was use to strip wax, at first I was nervous. I didn’t know hard wax was used (my fault I didn’t research) To my surprise I enjoyed the hard wax they use at waxing the city. The hard wax has a nice consistency, the pulls didn’t hurt like strips.I struggle with hyperpigmentation and ingrown Hair’s, Tresha informed me of their PFB product which helps with both. I purchased this product along with their Lalicious oil. I’m super excited to try both! I look forward to my next appointment

Staff are very nice and helpful with your after care. They explained why waxing is better than shaving. I have been there 2x and will continue to go back.

SINGLE PARENTS BEWARE. There is a child policy for all of these facilities that does not allow children under the age of 11 in the studio. This was made clear to me when I arrived at my appointment with my two year old, and not clearly indicated on the website. Luckily they did not charge me for having to cancel on the spot. However, unless you can afford extra child care on weekends or have family or friends who can take your kid for an hour for free, they will not serve you (I am a widow with no family or friends nearby. I even had a mask on due to the city mask mandate). So this place only serves folks with a certain set of economic and social means.

This place is AMAZING. I know some men are a little embarrassed that they have back hair, i know I am sometimes. The whole staff made me feel incredibly comfortable. Very clean atmosphere. And the playlist was AWESOME when I was there. But the thing that made this visit even better was Neeta!!! She was Soo professional, nice, easy to talk to, and ever so knowledgeable about any questions that I had. I was a little nervous heading in because I have been waxed before, and it had hurt ALOT. Not this time!!!! She was awesome, and did such an incredible job! I barely even felt it while she was waxing, she is that good! So, if you are ever in need of a waxing of any type, please please make an appointment at Waxing The City, AND, do not for get to ask for NEETA!!!!!!!! BEST EVER!!!!!!

The owner Makayla is mean-spirited and speaks to staff in a condescending way, even customers too if they disagree with her or ask questions. Shell act like an expert on waxing but when even slightly questioned she gets a bad attitude. TO TOP IT OFF I have been told that the owner isnt even a licensed aesthetician OR cosmetologist and not all waxers working there are licensed professionals! The best waxers have already left (the girl I wanted to wax me wasnt working there anymore AND the girl she recommended wasnt working there anymore!). I texted my favorite waxer hoping to schedule my next wax with her, wherever she may be, and she told me she and the girl she recommended left cause of Makaylas micro-managing (again, she isnt licensed), terrible energy and rudeness. My girl is a great waxer and a sweet person and the pushy owner made her too depressed and miserable to even be there so she left and got a better job and has set up a cute in-home waxing studio. Would never recommend Waxing the City for working OR waxing. Luckily my girl will still wax me in her own studio so Im good!

This was my first wax appointment for a Brazilian. I was sooooo scared. I had a wonderful experience with cereologist who paid attention to my skins needs. It was almost pain free. It black owned business in the area, that I don’t mind supporting they gave a first time half off discount. Which helped me to purchase the after care products I needed. I already booked my second appointment. If you re like me scared to get one, this is a great beginners place. There’s so much more work I want to get done. Give it try tell them Toya sent you.
