Highly recommended to all you plant lovers out there. I got a prickly pear cactus from them, and had to fight myself to not get more. So many beautiful planters and well taken care of plants. The service was the cherry on top, cant wait to come back soon!

For anyone giving the place 1 star based off the fact they enforce local laws on mask mandates is absurd. Im so glad I was able to safely shop somewhere where the owner cares about their employees and customers health and well being. I will be a repeat customer and tell all my friends about it! I have visited every nursery and plant shop from Norman to Guthrie. Calverts is by far my favorite, especially for house plants.Their houseplant selection constantly rotates and their quality is second to none. No I mean that. No one else around has plants that are consistently this healthy. If you find someone better, then you have stumbled into an alternate universe and chimps have taken over the world. As far as customer service is concerned, everyone here seems to have a reasonable understanding of the plants and their care. Also in my experience, everyone has been reasonably friendly-even with all the adult children running around during this pandemic.If you are looking for a rare or uncommon plant, Calverts will often have those as well. Last month I found a Calathea Majestica White Star, a Hoya Royal Hawaiian and a Alocasia Pink Princess just to name a few. All of these were fully rooted (Not immature cuttings) which is a problem at times with local nurseries.SIDE NOTE on the PANDEMIC: I looked through a number of the reviews and some of them need to be addressed. Calverts cannot give a retort without stirring bad publicity. So I will. If you leave a negative review based on the mask policy then you are acting irresponsible and petty. Your politics, bruised ego and need for confirmation is not a reflection of Calverts as a business. It is a reflection of you and your insecurities. At the time of this review Oklahoma is #5 nationwide in total new infections. That is not per capita. This is in total. I am relieved that Calverts is responsible and enforces the city wide ordinance. I only wish that every business in Oklahoma cared enough for their clients and customers to do the same.

This place is amazing and people are wonderful! Went in just browsing and ended up leaving with a few succulents. Great prices! They were kind enough to give us some of the rougher succulents for free since they can still be saved I took them too. They also gave me free ferns! Amazing place cant believe I havnt been sooner!

Lovely place! My sister and I visited for the first time. The employees were so helpful and the greenhouse was so lovely. They also have crystal and stones.

I love all the unique tropical plants and specialty items that I cant find in some other nurseries. They have beautiful planters, too, and knowledgeable staff. I am learning more about plants and gardening, and when I go to Calverts with questions while shopping, there is always someone on staff that has the answer. As of recent, things have been different everywhere, but I appreciate their mask policy, too. Sometimes I forget my mask when I go to places, but I appreciate the businesses that require staff and customers to have them. Great little local plant place!

Good selection of mostly common/uncommon houseplants including tropicals and succulents. Pretty good prices (you can find some really good deals). Would like to see a larger selection of rare Philodendrons, Antheriums and Hoya in the future.

I love this nursery. It is one of my favorite. It is three hours away from us & we are more than willing to drive there. The employees there are always very helpful. Always offer to help. Im glad theyre taking all the precautions. This just show that they care about their employees & customers will being than money! Cant wait to go back to visit again! 🤗

I love this place! They’ve become like family to me. I check their social media stories every day. The staff is beyond helpful and I always feel welcome there — even when I used to take my kids (before the pandemic). Calverts has some very interesting plants. They get in some of the more popular ones. It is not a huge space so they are requiring masks for safety. Some days the workers are busy working on arrangements. I have never had a bad experience there. The owner was also extremely nice. I have used their curbside that they have offered during COVID-19 and had no problems.

Plants were beautiful. On the pricey side but its worth it for quality plants.

I LOVE Calvert’s! It’s my favorite nursery in the metro. They carry a diverse selection of plants and offer great prices. Their staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. I live in Norman and it is always worth the drive! I highly recommend them!!

This is my go-to plant shop! Ive gone out of my way to travel from Stillwater when I get the urge to add to my indoor collection. Ive found many hard-to-get houseplants for amazing prices here.My only small problem is that Ive seen a few plants mislabeled. For instance, Rhaphidophora tetrasperma seems to be called mini monstera, although it is not a monstera. Likewise, I found a Monstera adansonii labeled as a swiss pothos?? Its more humorous than anything, and as long as you know what youre looking for, you shouldnt need to rely on a label anyways!

The staff is very helpful and they always have a very large selection of plants to choose from. They always have very healthy plants and beautiful pots to choose from to put them in. If you’re looking to add to your indoor plant collection or outdoor area this is one of the best places to go and I highly recommend them. Right now they are requiring a mask to be worn as a precaution in the green house (which I appreciate) to help prevent spread of covid and protect their staff and customers as well.

Always a friendly staff happy to chat about plants and share their expertise, whether I have something specific I’m looking for or just stopped in to cheer up a bad day by walking through their greenhouses. Their selection of houseplants is massive with a lot of odd plants I haven’t found elsewhere in OKC.I recently picked up a plant using curbside pickup, and while they looked quite busy they were quick to get my plant out to me in the parking lot.In these trying times, I am thankful Calvert’s has continued to follow guidance from the CDC in requiring everyone in the greenhouse to wear masks. It continues to make me feel safe visiting. I don’t believe anyone finds masks comfortable, but it’s a small inconvenience for the benefit of protecting the health your community.

Calvert’s has awesome, fantastic employees that seem to really love what they do. This a long standing business in Oklahoma City that truly has the most beautiful plants around. I love their greenhouse and again, their employees are the nicest. Definitely support this business if you get the chance!

My husband and I recently discovered Calverts and now I can not stay away! They have a wonderful selection of pots and plants at much better prices than any of the other nursery’s in town! The staff is always so nice and helpful! I have now brought several of my family and friends who love it as well!

Customer services is lacking because there is never a friendly response when I call or come in. (Wendy is a peach though.) With the business and virus situation I understand why people would be on edge though and it really doesnt bother me.What does frustrate me is when I inquire about holding plants (even if you buy them first) I get told no, but then when I visit I see plants being held for others. Since there is a no hold policy, even if you pay first, I always miss out on the plants Im looking for since I live in Norman. Its just a bummer because most other places will allow a buy and hold over the phone.Other than that, I love Calverts and will continue to support my local small business because those things arent a deal breaker for me. Its a beautiful place with great plants and prices and deserves 5 stars. If having to wear a mask and deal with a few grumpy employees drives you away, then you probably wont be missed. 🤷‍♀️

UPDATED: Save your money, and go to TLC. This place has some of the worst customer service in town. Customer service is the most important thing to a service business in my opinion. Tried to simply stop by for the first time and look for an arrangement, and before I could get near the door, was accosted by employees who tried to kick me out for not having a mask in my possession. I failed to notice the signs or social media posts that stated it was required. I asked if I could borrow something to make a mask, and was given some paper towels. The employees had no desire to help me, only give nasty looks. Apparently I made them feel uncomfortable, but if you look at the latest reviews, you’ll notice a similar problem with customer service on the part of the entire staff. Once I had made my selection on my own, I was standing at the counter getting nasty looks from the cashier and the owner came out and personally accosted me himself. What disappointment. Terrible service, terrible place; As I run a landscape design company for a living, I will never support this place again.RE: I was accosted before I had the chance to read any postage or signage. I kept to myself and didn’t interact with any other customers. The female employees made me me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwanted. The owner made it clear that I was unwanted. I was attempting to get help or service and it seemed like no one wanted to be there or help me. All of this may explain any unpleasant manner on my behalf. I’ve noticed congruency in the latest reviews about this same topic, and wish to bring this to light.

I truly have fallen in love with this plant 🌱 store! A little pricey, but you can find a large selection here! And if you have an issue with your plant 🌱 they will take it back and or help you fix it! I have been back three times already! Only thing and that can’t fix is the little lizards 🦎 But I hate bugs and all so I just deal!!! Otherwise amazing 😉 place !!

Love Calvert’s selection and shop. They get plants I haven’t seen anywhere else locally. I love the select of planters in the showroom and the big ones outside. I discovered this shop last year, my husband probably wishes I hadn’t haha.

Absolutely my favorite plants store. They are all very helpful and knowledgeable. Good prices and they get shipments in al the time so I always find something new. Also I am THANKFUL they are asking everyone to continue to wear masks. You can get really close to people in there and and literally plants everywhere that are being purchased frequently so if you are looking at a plant and touching it and saying oh look how cool and then another person does the same thing within 30 mins, you get what I’m saying..

This is a beautiful store with a great variety of plants. I’ve spent many hours in here enjoying the welcoming atmosphere & purchasing plants that would bring that same feeling back into my home.It’s unfortunate that this business (along with many others) have succumb to the dictatorship & brainwashing of a system that promotes fear & distrust in its people. Knowledge is power & the more we do independent research apart from the conventional/official stories we expand our perspective & move out of the panic that so many of us have resigned to. With fear comes the need for control & when the government gives us an avenue into controlling others for a false sense of security, many of us (unfortunately) take it. However, it is immoral & unjust to force a society to cover their faces (with any type of covering) under the false pretense that ‘it’s to control virus spread.’ There is no evidence proving this & just because someone in a ‘powerful’ role recommends or demands an action doesn’t make it just or moral.I kindly request that you no longer require face coverings in your store, as I’d love to continue shopping here!“One has not only a legal, but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Dont shop here this was the worst experience you could have. They are taking it upon them selves to tell you what you have to wear in order to enter there store. I will not come back here again.Response to your commit.I understand you are listening to guide lines and trying to keep people safe. However there is a difference from listening and being proactive to help reduce the risk. Or pushing your own beliefs onto other people.You guys are not giving people a choice to make there own decisions. Including employees. It is my right and everyone else that you have working for you to make a conscious decision on how they want to protect themselves and what they put on their bodys. This is not ok. If you are scared and believe you have the choice to force people to cover up . You should not be open! I will not be coming back and will be making sure everyone I know is also aware of your poor decision to tell people what they have to put on there bodys to make you feel safe.

This is one of, if not the best nursery for indoor plants! I was very sad moving away from my home state of Oregon and all the amazing plant stores they had to offer. Calverts makes me feel at home!I also respect their initiative to protect their workers and community from a global pandemic by standing their ground and requiring customers to wear masks :)

I cannot say enough about this place! They answered all my questions, gave me pet-friendly plant recommendations, and were very patient as I explored. They always answer emails/DM’s/voicemails quickly and with kindness. I appreciate them taking our safety seriously and requiring masks.

Looking for spring color?! Calverts is your place to shop! I cannot tell you how many cute and amazing spring time plants they have in stock! I cannot brag enough on the employees and customer service! Even during these sad pandemic times they are still safely serving all customers.

Selection of plants is great, prices are great. However, the customer service has gone incredibly downhill. Almost no one wants to help answer questions over the phone and in person, most of them act annoyed to be bothered with questions. This is what makes a business. Come on guys....

I love Calverts, they have great plants & I occasionally find real gems! A lot of people have been complaining about them requiring masks. Grow up, its a private business!! Im not a fan of them either, but they absolutely have the right to require it for entry. No shoes no shirt no service has been uncontested for years 🤔

My husband and I went today looking for succulents. We accidentally ended up in an area which was for employees only and were told that all the plants in the room were already sold. We apologized and the employee said it happens frequently in a dry response. My husband then told the employee it was our first visit and the employee responded with nothing. No one acted as if they wanted to interact or be of any help. We are new to town and probably will not go back anytime soon even though their plants, flowers, pottery and other items were great. Customer service goes along way, especially during the times we are going through.

One of the best selections in town but the staff has been consistently cold. I recently called and placed a phone order for a plant for curbside pick up. They were rude when I ordered, rude when I called to pick it up and rude when they brought it to my car.

Was treated poorly by everyone. Seemed like no one wanted to help you or be of any assistance. I have had terrible service here every time. Just because you sell an expensive product, does not give the right to treat people so poorly. People need to know to not waste their hard earned money at such a place.

I love Calverts! Always has an amazing selection of healthy plants, rare and common, and very fair prices too. I got a smallish triostar at another plant shop in town for 30 bucks, and a couple weeks later I saw a BIGGER triostar at calverts for 15. Walking through their greenhouse is also such a serene experience. Love love love this plant shop and Im so glad to have a great local plant grower. Keep up the fantastic work!

Calverts is the best because they grow, nurture and really care for their plants. They have plants of all types from cacti, orchids, hanging plants, ferns, and a great selection of succlents. Good selection of patio and office plants too. They do custom arrangements for special occasions, gifts, or something unique for your home and office.It always brightens my day when I stroll through their greenhouse and see what custom arrangements they are working on!

I called to confirm closing time of 5. Needed one plant and got there 3 minutes before close. They took the time to ask me what I was looking for (any oxygen rich plant) but wouldnt let me buy one in the 3 minutes left til closing at 5. Wont be going here again.

I love this place

Wowsers, cool place. Everytime Ive tried to come here, they were closed, but not today. What a beautiful place. Has the most unusual and beautiful plants, pots, rocks, art, everything. Eye candy for the soul. Was there for over 2 hours and can hardly wait to go back. Very expensive, but you will never see things like this anywhere else. Such a great treat for the day, so glad I finally got to go through the gate this time. Succulents, orchids, ferns, violets, bird baths, glazed pottery, cannot wait to see what they have next time. Everybody should stop by and see this place. Best of all, the two ladies were very informative and friendly.
