North Portland location:After paying with my card for 2 towers of scaffolding, was told I had to drive to 29th st location to pick up missing parts. This took another hour of my day. 29th st location was very prompt and helpful. Still ended up with 3 wheels that wouldnt roll. Will not use the N Portland location again. 28th st location is top shelf. Will go there next time.
Staff was polite, helpful, knowledgeable and willing to go that extra mile to help explain the operation of the equipment. Great experience. Thanks for making my project a success.

This was a great rental experience, staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and the equipment was clean and well maintained, that made the work fast and easier than I even planned with the rental. They even let me enter a chance to win some apple headphones which will make this summer much better on the tractor if I win!
I’ve rented from Crosslands on a few occasions. Most recent was an unusual piece of equipment (a metal detector) and they had a new one. It was at a reasonable price and came with instructional manual. The staff members that assisted me were friendly and very helpful. Bc I rented on a Friday it carried over to Monday at no additional charge. I’ve also rented scaffolding from Crosslands, years ago when I painted my home. They are at a convenient location right off I-44 just north of OSU-OKC on Portland so it’s an easy in and out for whatever equipment you need to pick up.
They rent out broken and damaged equipment. Zane the store managers demeanor in dealing with issues is absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible customer service and faulty equipment. Rented a lift for a week. Bounced and pulled all over the place towing it to location. Found out the tires were grossly overinflated and not meant to bear the weight of that equipment. This is a very unsafe situation and could cause a major accident if one of those tires blows during transport.Had the lift for a couple days and it starts running bad. It would shut down and not stay running. Called Crossland and was basically told I had to pay for a service call or tow the lift back myself to switch out for another. This is their bad equipment and apparently its on me to get a replacement or pay for them to come to me. I was not offered extra time for all the time that was wasted nor was I offered anything else to compensate for this mess.I do not recommend renting equipment from this place!
Great customer service. I went in there to check on the prices to rent some equipment. The young guy working the counter was extremely nice and the prices are not bad at all.Im going back there next week to rent few things.

We rented the walk behind trencher. It ran like a champ. Not sure what the other trencher renter review was all about. We had zero issues. Dude at the counter was knowledgeable and super helpful.
I rented a trencher from this store about 1:50pm. The starter didnt work (no battery) so he showed me how to pull start it before I picked it up, which was fine. Then I got it home and the chain drive was really weak and was bogging down having trouble cutting a trench in soft loamy soil. I called the store, they said to make sure the engagement handle was all the way down, which it was, but I i finally figured out it was bent, so after trying to bend it back it started working better. This cost me about 2 hours out of about a 4 or 5 hour job. Had to work the next day so my wife tried to finish it the next morning but couldnt start it because of the issue with the starter, so I used it again when I got off work. So now Im paying 2 days rental, due back Saturday at 1:50pm. I tried to take it back saturday at 12:30 cause it was due at 1:50pm, but realized they closed at 12:00. So it sat on the trailer all weekend and my wife took it back at 7am when they opened again on Monday and they charged me for a whole week rental. I called the store to speak with the young man behind the counter and he was rude, and told me there was nothing I could do about it (implying he could charge whatever he wanted because he had my credit card on file). I cant find anywhere in their contract it says that if your due back time is after they close, you have to return it before your time is up. So a 1 week charge for 5 hrs use on broken equipment. I expected to pay for the 2 days, just not a whole week.
The kid behind the counter is a jerk. He renting me a tool at 1030am. I drove it back to my house and started to use it around 1. I realized it wasn’t working properly so I called the shop and he told me to bring it in. I brought it in about 430 and his co worker fixed it so the next day I brought it back at 1230 and he charged me for the extra 2 hours and when I asked about it was really rude. I’ll never rent anything here again. The other guy working there was really helpful and good to work with. The kid behind the counter is a douche bag!
We reserved a Bobcat with this Crosslands. After picking it up, we had to return to the facility because the Bobcat was too heavy for the trailer provided -- the axles were literally bowing out and the Bobcat was dragging the ground. They loaded it onto a second trailer, and immediately, we could hear the air leaking from the tires. The manager was extremely rude and told us we could take it anyway, but the liability was on us so he recommended we go get the trailer fixed. He wanted us to go get his trailer fixed!!!!!!!!!! We ended up having to rent a sod cutter, which involved a lot more work, and we didnt receive a discount of any kind. In fact, they charged our card TWICE. One $350 charge for the Bobcat and another $150 charge for the sod cutter! I do not recommend this store at all.
I was nearly run Off the road this morning by White crossland Chevrolet pic h up Going eastbound on I40.Changing lanes without signaling,driving with his high beams And recklessly tail gating me after I tried to signal him to lower his headlights.Unfortunately my dash Cam only got the crosslands emblem on the door and I could not read his license plate due to lighting.Otherwise I would call ohp.
