Wow, what a terrible experience. The construction manager was very non-communicative and could not follow simple requests. When he was on site, very short with his time and would not converse to understand the issues faced by the property owner.The scope of work to be performed to put my property back to pre-loss condition was to be discussed with me prior to sending it to the insurance firm, so that we can come to a mutual agreement. Pretty fair ask I would think.However, the construction manager acted as if he works for the insurance firm and never sent me the agreed upon scope of work and rather sent it to the insurance company acting as if they were working on my behalf.Several items were missed that could have been taken into account, if the estimate was sent to me and we could address things together. I had concerns that the estimate would be written to please the insurance company by cutting corners and expressed that prior to them coming to the property. They assured that it would be reviewed with me prior to transmission. Lo and behold. they did exactly what I was worried about and acted as an arm of the insurance firm.Based on this experience, I would say, stay far away from this firm for any of your restoration and constructions needs. If you decide to go them, expect for them to be cutting corners to please your insurance firm instead of working in your interest.

My parents had a house fire. Blackmon Mooring came in packed up all thefurniture and valuables to store while house was getting redone. After months of unreturned phone calls and texts to this company from my parents and the insurance company so they can get their poessions back. My parents are in the process of getting a lawyer so they can their stuff back. Ridiculous that my family went through a disaster and these people were supposed to help them but have not followed through. PLEASE DON’T HIRE THIS COMPANY

I used Blackmon Mooring to rebuild one of my outbuildings after a fire. Simply put, I wish I would have used a different contractor. Ive never written a bad review before but wish I would have known what I was getting into with Blackmon Mooring. It seems as though they hired one crew to do the job who then subcontracted it out to a different crew who subcontracted it out to a third crew. Perhaps this is standard in the field but it made communication very difficult. It was even difficult to get an invoice and settle up after the job was finished. I definitely do not recommend this company.

Great workers all around and very friendly. A little bit of difficulty getting a set time for all work to be accomplished. Manager would tell us to expect phone calls and an arrival time, but we wouldn’t receive a phone call and/or the time we were told was inaccurate. Despite those issues, the work was fantastic and expeditious

Excellent service! I had a water leak on a Saturday afternoon, and the technicians were here within 30 minutes of calling them. Dalton gave a very accurate estimate of what needed to be done and checked in every day until everything was dry. Fast and professional service. Highly recommended!

Technicians arrived on time, was very courteous and professional in action and dress. Surveyed the dwelling, explained what they were going to do and immediately started cleaning the ducts.When they got through they cleaned up what little mess they made while cleaning the ducts, explained the bill and accepted payment.We are very satisfied with the technicians and the company.Will call them again.

I had a house fire in September and was in complete shock when I came home to find out. Everyone was at my home, including blackmon mooring. They told me they would close the front door and window so I wouldnt have to worry about anyone stealing my items before I had a chance to get them out. They told me that my insurance would pay for their services and I had nothing to worry about. After 2weeks I received a bill from then, contacted my insurance and he said this service is not covered since my home was a total loss. Im now having to spend 298$ for a service I was told would be covered. I feel taken advantage of since so much was going on finding out my belongings were 95%gone and then having this company tell me their services would be covered by my insurance, when they should have told me it might be covered by insurance. I wish I wouldnt have had the window and door covered up. There was nothing valuable left for people to steal anyways.

They had very good communications with regular updates. The work they did was great and they were all nice and flexible.

Called them a week out cause I wanted a Saturday, they scheduled me for first thing. They showed up right when they said they would, was very happy with the service and friendliness. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing thier carpet cleaned.

They are thorough and very competent. You have a problem, they will solve it or get you headed in the right direction. They believe in retention and building relationships.

The technicians were very friendly and courteous. They took special care working around our personal items and everything was left spotless. The ductwork and grilles are much cleaner and I will definitely use Blackmon Mooring again in the future.

I would give zero stars of possible. I hired this company in November 2016. It is now the end of August 2017 and still not complete after being paid 40k already. Please dont hire these people. You mean nothing to them once you pay. And also your contract does not allow you to sue in court. What house repairs take over ten months to do and counting? I wish I never hired these people! If youre reading this PLEASE DO YOUR JOB AND FIX MY HOUSE!!! YOUVE BEEN PAID TO DO A JOB! You guys are cons!!!

I worked here for a year and a half they treat us very badly and thank its ok,work us like dogs and get mad if you need a day off for personal stuff, very unorganized and just the way they treat there employees is just not acceptable.try to force employees to stay out of town for one did a couple days and when they get there tell them 3 months no Jason w. I had to have everything from carpets to my air ducts cleaned. They worked hard & did a top notch job. My house finally smells good again!!

This company was recommended by my insurance company as a general contractor. Our insurance company backed them 100%. This company brought in another company to redo my roof. The roofing company that they brought in to do our roof left our decking uncovered during a downpour causing much much more damage to our house. The roofing company with the general contractor on site then decided to cover my very wet decking with the TPO system to finish my flat roof.Flat roofs have no ventilation so the moisture from the rain becomes trapped once they sealed the roof. We have done core samples of our roof and it is covered in mold. I plead with Blackmon Mooring to not seal my roof with wet deck and to replace the deck...obviously the general contractor on site did not agree and now I have mold for a roof. Blackmon Mooring did more damage on my property than what was my original claim. They broke decorative pineapples that sit on each corner of my house. These were very unique and antiques. I will not be able to replace them. They pried open a door with a knife instead of asking how to open the door causing damage...they just had to push and it pops open. They STOLE a landscaping brick from my yard because while the roofing company they hired was working on my roof the knocked out a brick from the wall of my roof. The initial tried to put some type of glue to hold the stole brick in place they didnt even use mortar until I fussed about it and the stolen brick they used. The general contractor on site even had the audacity to laugh and tell me he would give me a dollar for the stolen brick.I would NEVER let anyone I know use this company as a general contractor. They never had the best interest of us in mind but the cheapest way to throw together our house & their bottom dollar of what they could make off of our insurance company.They tried to cut so many corners and I ended up firing them for all the damage they caused my home. Its sad when you rely on a company to fix your home and all they do is more and more damage.Do not use this company! Be aware and find a company that has YOUR best interest.

Dalton Fittro and his assistant cleaned the carpet in 5 rooms in my house on September 1, 2016. They arrived on time and were thorough, efficient and courteous. I would use their services again.

They left water under my floors for a week and when contractor pulled up floors mold!! Im 39 weeks pregnant!!!!!!! They failed to do there job and people are going to hospital!!!! I want to file insurance complaint on this company. Never got paper stating that water was under the floor Montie blamed Ozarks my water company!!! I cant believe this is blanked on the customer they ruined my place with mold they even came in and said we could glue floor back down. What it was soaked with water. Im getting attonery!!!!

We had the most incompetent and unprofessional people come into our home. They could have cared less about us as human beings. We were treated like we are stupid. Jay lost our list of unsalvageable itemsThat our ajuster deppended on to pay us to replace our items. We feel like we got ripped off by them. The items that we got back from the that they say they restored. NOT!!! I have chairs that the seats are off of. Paint scrubbed of of vases stuff came back broken. I could go on all day but I wont I would just not recommend this company to anyone!!! Worst company I have ever used in my life. Our insurance company said they will never use them again......

Do not use this company to clean your ducts. All they use is a hose to suck dust from vents.....no brush, all for the low, low price of $750.

I manage multiple facilities for a large healthcare system. Blackmon Mooring has been one of the easiest vendors to work with in my 25 years of property management experience. For example: I had a supply line break in a high rise building causing a four story flood over the 4th of July weekend. I called them at 7 am they showed up ready to go in less than an hour. They were prompt, courteous, and went out of their way to help us get things taken care of as quickly as possible. Shane Forrest even came in from a family vacation to help organize and manage his people. They ran multiple crews 24 hours a day to get as many departments back up and running before everyone got back from the weekend. Shane has gone above and beyond to make sure our customers, patients, and tenants are taken care of as well. They truly are The Best in the Business!

Best restoration company in the region

After the March 25 tornado I decided to use Blackmon mooring to pack my furniture and clothes out and then I chose them to help me rebuild. BIG MISTAKE !! Everything they did was unprofessional. They had to redo everything they did and still got it wrong. I fired them and whe I tried to call and email to find out what the next step to finalize my contract got no resopnse from them at all. Got another contractor and started over and got the job done. I contacted Blackmon mooring to get my belongings and was told that they wouldnt return them to me even though my insurance had paid them for the storage. They want to be paid for a job they didnt do. So ive got a nice house and no furniture. I would encourage everyone who reads this to not use Blackmon mooring. From Charles Blackmon on on down the line there is not one person who cares what kind of job is done as long as they get there money. This is no way to run a business.

Professional, courteous and on time!!

Our experience was terrible. After substandard methods, shotty wormanship, terrible customer service and dishonesty at all levels we had to ultimately fire them. If zero stars were possible I would even mark that. We even meet with charles blackmon himself. What seemed like an attempt to make things right turned into more lies. Be very careful, they used high pressure sales techniques to scare their customer into using them. This was post tornado. They made a terrible situation worse and continue to take advantage.
