Becks automotive in Oklahoma City was so nice and good to me I would recommend them a thousand times over for the quality heart felt service that young man did for me I wished I would have caught his name but either way I would not hesitate to take my automotive business to them if ever I need their expertise again.

The mechanics here are very knowledgeable. I really like how well they communicate utilizing text and phone. The shop has a long history and it shows. They are affordable and very honest and upfront. They will tell you exactly what you need or do not need and do an excellent job. I had my axles replaced on my 78 Cadillac Eldorado which is very special to me. They flushed the radiator and transmission as well. It runs like new. Thank you Becks.

The staff at Becks Garage is great (Cole in particular). They evaluated and gave us an estimate for the work needed on our old truck for free. Becks also did not charge us to do an abbreviated inspection of a car we were considering buying. They were very patient with my father while explaining the many things that could be fixed on our old truck. They spent a lot of their time pro bono helping us- both in looking at our cars and in discussing with us what work was a safety issue and what was optional.

I stopped by with nails in my tire. They plugged them for free without charging. The best part of all was that they didn’t even try to sell me tired! Plus the interior was very cute-all retro call memorabilia. Best auto experience!

As usual, my visit to Becks Garage has always been pleasant. I have known Jeff and done business with Becks Garage for 28 years now. Jeff and his techs are very knowledgeable about different automobiles in the automobile industry. Becks Garage is the only garage that works on my vehicles.

I was having trouble starting my car and they were very clear from the beginning that the computer programming that might be require might be out of their expertise. They were very nice and replaced a fuse to resolve a very simple separate issue the car was having, which I am grateful for. If you have any actual mechanical problems you should give these guys a shot, they seem very honest, upfront, kind and all in all have honest intentions.

We have had great experiences with Becks. Professional and fair consistently. It is a little out of our way, but we go there because we know that they will be honest. We took our truck somewhere closer to home and got an estimate for an expensive repair that turned out to be something quite small that Becks took care of for us.

My son Ben took his 2008 Honda Element in for repair. They charged $ 800 for things they said he needed. He trusted them I told him to go to Becks because of the Webb endorsement s. They not fix the problem. He went back again to get a oil change they recommend, and he told them car was still not repaired and that it over heated when idealing. They did the oil change and drove the car 12 miles and said there was nothing wrong. We want our money back. They were not superior. They were errogent.

I appreciated how quickly they were able to take my car in and give text message updates throughout the day so I knew exactly what to expect on time. Last time i took my classic, they were great? This time i had to give a 2 star, they got the job done, but as a classic car, you expect techs to treat the car good, but wasent the case, the hood hinges were loose which caused paint to chip when closing the hood.. painting a car isnt cheap.. they said it was the hinges.. yea, but when i took the car, the hood would shut good, and now i have chips in the fenders... everyone knows there car and the condition you take it... i actually seen the guy pushing on the hood, a lil harder then he should, and i should of said something then, i didnt think much of it then. im sure thats why the hinges went loose.. the guy said he would talk to the tech about it, which i doubt he will, and its upsetting to see that happen... its not the best paint, i kno.. but its a classic i really try and take care of... and its the same reason i dont jus go to any shop...

Had repairs done on my clutch yesterday. Today vehicle barely starts. They say it was an electrical issue on a switch attached to the clutch parts they replaced, noting We only unplugged and plugged back in. Then swiftly ended the call. Im hours away and theyre hanging me out to dry, so now mechanic #2 to fix whatever they did.

Fantastic service, and fair prices! Just make sure to call ahead to make an appointment or reserve a spot that day. Depending on the repairs, your vehicle might have to spend the night because of needing certain supplies or having a lot of cars on the books that day.

I was very Impressed by the staff and owner here @ Beck’s Garage.I had a flat tire and was trying to find out if it could be patched.From the person who initially answered the phone, the young man that came outside to direct me where to park when I called to ask where I should park. (I am from Fl and not familiar with the Area).I checked in and assumed I would have a long wait.I was wrong.The Gentleman who took me to explain my tire was to bad to patch, winded up being the owner Jeff.As a woman who has absolutely no mechanical knowledge, it’s easy to feel you maybe taken advantage of.Not here.Jeff Beck actually showed me the points of concern and expressed more concern for my safety if he patched it.Cool decor and down to earth folks.I asked how much I owed them for looking at my tire. I always get consistent, complete, and fast service from Becks. Theres no waiting for days for your car to be worked on. This latest time, my car pretty much left me stranded. Turns out there were multiple issues contributing to the problem. After getting my car towed to the shop, at the very end of the day, they quickly got to work the next morning diagnosing the issues. These folks know great service, and they consistently deliver it. I have complete trust in their work.

I cannot say enough about how amazing Becks is to their customers. I have a car that the A/C went out on in the middle of the summer and I took it to a few mechanics who quotes upwards of 2k to fix it. I brought it to Becks as soon as we moved to Oklahoma and they ran a diagnostic on it and recharged the system. They didnt find anything wrong with the system and thus put a dye in it so they could see if there was a leak that they missed. Less than $200 later, I was on the road, enjoying the fresh COLD breeze of my a/c unit. Apparently there is not a leak because it has been months and no issue at all.On top of that, I called today to see about potentially buying a new car and what I needed to check on as I test drive. Low and behold, I was told that I can drive the car to Becks during my test drive and they will check it out for free! I have never felt more confident going into the car buying situation, thanks to the Becks family! Truly an amazing team and I am incredibly thankful for them!

I needed an estimate on some motor work. These guys are great. They were honest about what needed to be done (I already had 3 mechanics look at it), and performed the work for less money than the previous mechanics. Very happy with the work.

I really cant say enough about this place. Took my used potential car to them to look over before I purchased it. Not 1, but 2 lovely gentlemen totally looking over the car, taking it for a test drive and giving me a very honest thumbs up after telling me they turned many away. Just as a courtesy of their shop. Gave me a breakdown of the few repairs needed. Got me a great deal on some used wheels for the car. I felt totally taken care of. One stop shop for sure. Beck, you couldnt possibly have a better staff, a better atmosphere or a better shop!

I cant say enough nice things about the folks at Becks Automotive. My first visit, I called in the morning and they were able to fit me in that morning and got my oil change done in the same day. They were courteous and nice, and it was actually cheaper than taking my car to Jiffy Lube.But the icing on the cake was when I got in my car they had left a hand-written thank you note. You cant get much better customer service than that. I will definitely be taking my car to Becks from here on out!

I was looking to buy a used car that had been in an accident, so I took it to Becks for an inspection to make sure everything was structurally sound. They shot us straight and didnt even charge for the inspection. Honest workers that will get all our business in the future!

Brought my car in to diagnose a simple electric problem. All I wanted was to be told what was wrong with the vehicle so I could fix the issue myself. The qualified technicians took it upon themselves to rip out the wiring and not replace it properly. I paid over a hundred dollars for the initial diagnostic (from which I learned nothing) and found that the vehicle, which had been driving for over ten years, could no longer make it down the street without breaking down. I took the car back to have Becks fix their mistake, or at least get a refund since no actual service was preformed, but they denied the possibility of any refund. Instead, took the the car in under the pretense that they would make the repair at no cost. It stayed at the garage for almost an additional two weeks, which I got the run around every time I called to get an update. After it was finally diagnosed, I was subject to a 450 dollar charge and the car was far worse than when I brought it in the first time. I demanded it be repaired at no cost or I get my money back (which seems like a fair deal for any business to agree to considering the situation). Not only did they again refuse to refund my payments or at the very least bring the vehicle back to its original state, the whole crew (including their leader Mr. Beck himself) patronized me by treating me like an idiot child, and even declined to admit any wrong doing on their part. They were even offended that I would dare claim they did anything other than a great job. Its amazing that these people are still in business being as nefarious as they are. I hope this review will be informative enough to keep any reader from making the mistake of trusting Becks Garage with their vehicle.

Simply the best! As a single woman who knows nothing about buying a car, I test drove an embarrassing number of vehicles to Becks to check out. They were the next best thing to a husband - they looked over every one of my options, answered all of my questions and concerns, and their input gave me the confidence I needed to buy a fantastic car. I wouldnt consider having my car worked on anywhere else. If it were possible to give the more than 5 stars, I would!!

They have always been so awesome. I had an old beat up 96 jeep grand Cherokee that they helped take care of. It started hemorrhaging oil one day with all the smoke and smells that come with it. They listed off and quoted everything it needed, and did what I requested from the list. It eventually started hemorrhaging coolant later down the line after that. Theyve always been patient with any questions and concerns I have. Jeff and David are always kind and helpful. Now that I have a newer car they help me keep it up to snuff and help keep me safe on the roads. They never bs you when they diagnose and quote and they dont bs about any if it.

Never been to a more honest and thorough shop in all my years of car ownership. Usually buy low end fixer upper cars which need lots of attention and maintenance. Ive dealt with the chain shops (Firestone/Goodyear/Pep Boys) and I finally got my car into the shop of my dreams, or my cars dreams as it were, Becks Garage. Theyre the real deal. They know their stuff and the charm is definitely a nice change from all the corporate junk Im so used to seeing. Great shop and theyll have my business from here on!

Found an old metal mechanic sign. Found a garage close by and stopped in to see if he wanted it. They gave me a tour of the shop. Which is covered with old signs. Very friendly and a very, very organized shop. And l hope they find a good place for the sign.

Great shop and great people! Chose Becks to do some work on my breaks and transmission. Theyre not the cheapest in town, but theyre rated as one of the best garages in the city and have been around for 20 years. Puts me at ease to I know I wont get taken advantage of and I dont have to second guess their work!

I still believe that I paid more than I should have, but we can chalk it up to difference of opinion.------old------Changed review from a 5 star to 2 star after my second visit. Disappointed being overcharged. Nearly $400 for a tune up. All that was done was a spark plug replacement and fuel induction service.The breakdown was -$77 for spark plugs (NGK Laser Iridium are $8 a piece at advanced auto parts, total $48 for my Honda Accord V6).$101 for labor.$80 for fuel system cleaner solvents. (Again, I question $80 worth of solvent being used for a cleaning....)$101 for labor...again.+Taxes and feesReplacing spark plugs on a 2005 Honda Accord is barely a 30 minute job. Fuel induction service, another 20 minute job at most. So, got charged for 2hrs of labor, for a job that doesnt even take 1hr.Theyre getting 2 stars, because my first visit was good. $400 is ridiculously expensive for the amount of work that was done. Maybe something has changed since my last visit. 3 months ago they didnt try upsell me on anything and were very reasonable. Today, October 2018, was different. I am just wondering what happened...

At Becks you deal with folks who know what they are doing. I have a Buick and a Chevy van and have no qualms about referring friends to them. They are easy to find also.

AWFUL!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! I just made the mistake of taking my vehicle there.I asked for an ESTIMATE to fix a very simple problem. I was told it wouldnt be a problem and they would call me shortly. They called and gave me a very high estimate. I called a different place and they quoted me 1/3 of the cost that Becks Garage was going to charge. I called Becks back, said thanks, but please do not fix my vehicle.I was then informed that I owed an $87 one hour diagnostic charge. I explained that was CRAZY since 1. they called me in 12 minutes to give me an estimate. 2. I asked for an ESTIMATE not a diagnostic. 3. I was not told a diagnostic needed to be performed. 4. I was not told I would be charged for the estimate or any diagnostic tests. 5. You cant charge someone for a service they did not request/approve. 6. You cant do whatever you want to a persons vehicle and then charge them without their approval. 7. The repair is so basic that any mechanic with any skills should be able to identify the problem in 5 minutes or less (it has nothing to do with the trucks engine or electrical system, it is a door part.)I went back to their shop at 6:05 yesterday and was told they were closed and could not help me (they close at 6:00).I returned this morning at 8AM with my lawyer and was greeted again with rudeness and hostility. I was also told that I now owe the diagnostic charge plus a storage fee since I didnt pay yesterday. It is unlawful to hold a persons vehicle if they have not authorized any work to be done. Rather than go through filling charges, I was left with no choice but to pay their fee in order to get my vehicle back. I am now attempting to get the matter resolved peacefully with the owner.

Moving to OKC from SC 4 years ago, you have to adjust a lot of things. Finding a solid mechanic and shop you trust is one of those. Becks Garage is that place. I appreciate the work they have done on my vehicles and my sons vehicle.They are straight up and honest and do great work.

This is my second experience with Becks and each time my 2001 Jeep Wrangler had complicated problems that are tough to find and sometimes much more difficult to repair. There is no doubt Rich and his staff a professionals in every level. I brought in my 14 year old truck that was running on 7 cylinders....rodents had eaten the wiring. I told Mr. Beck to fix whatever was wrong and get it running again.Less than 24 hours later I picked it up,...they had gone though the entire truck front to back and done more work than another shop would have done in three days.It ran, drove and stopped like it was brand-new again. I forgot how nice a truck it was.....best money Ive spent in quite a while.Ive been around a while, and Becks Garage is far the finest shop Ive ever dealt with.

Becks is where my cars go for everything outside warranty work covered by a dealership. Theyve always kept me updated while working on one of my cars, and Ive never felt like they were trying to up-sell me or shuck-n-jive. Take your stuff here. Theyll even work on the weird rides.

I have used Becks four times for minor and major repair. Each experience was excellent. The repairs were completed as promised and always under the estimate. I have an older Cadillac that still runs like new. I trust them to tell me if and when something needs to be done. They never try to talk me into anything unnecessary.I dont get these people who left the negative reviews. No business is perfect every time, but I havent had a single bad experience with Becks. My car loves them, and so do I.

Wow...Im a real customer of Becks shop. A. Steel is non-existent in their database of customers and in my opinion was written with no details and with one agenda, to hurt Becks Garages business. What a dick. Elizabeth Haynes....I was told the other side of that story and Im old enough to know you better get both sides before you make any decision in life. I asked them about these reviews. Ive known this shop for a while. Good guys, honest. The problem I think is people dont always want to hear they have to spend money on car care. I dont. I knew that Becks Garage was a rip off back in June when they refused to honor a battery warranty (11 months old but dead) and conned me into a new alternator that I didnt need. But I never expected that they would brazenly charge for services not provided. My June invoice includes a $40 oil change & $10 hazardous waste disposal fee for the oil change, but when I just went to Valvoline for a new oil change, they informed me that I was very low on oil (no leaks) and that the filter was the same one they had put in back in March. Becks Garage didnt change my oil & charged me $50 for the privilege! I knew I would never go back there after the battery nightmare, but this ensures that I will tell everyone I know about what a scam that auto shop is. OUTRAGEOUS!

I dont usually take the time to post many reviews but Nick and Mike at Becks garage were extremely professional and really impressed me with their customer service. Although they didnt have set appointments available the day I called, since I was going out of town in three days, they offered to let my truck stay so they could at least take a look and let me know if it was safe to drive or needed immediate service. In addition to giving me an estimate back in an extremely timely fashion, they had the parts ordered and truck back to me in less than 48 hours. In addition, since Im from out of town and not familiar with the areas services, Nick went above and beyond by making the phone calls needed to get a window replaced by a reliable shop that would take care of it on site. Ive been dealing with Becks for over 15yrs and Ive always given their name as a great place to get things fixed. The last time I went to Becks I had to take my car back multiple times and they never fixed it and was forced to go to another repair shop and they fixed it correctly. Ill never recommend them to anyone (BIG waste of both time and money)!!
