I Love the services provided by WIC and I am so grateful for the help they have provided to my family! I have become friends with many if the Staff members there and find myself sad that my twins and only children will be aging out in just over a year. This service has played a HUGE role in the health and Happiness of my children.
Always quick for service and very accommodating during COVID.
They are wonderful here. I really appreciate their help and their kindness.
In and out in less than 10 minutes.
When I first went there was 16 years ago with my oldest son, and then I went there again with my youngest they are amazing.
WIC in Ogden has incredible staff! I am pregnant, expecting my first, and they have been super helpful, welcoming, and supportive. WIC is for low income mothers either expecting or parent of children ages 5 years and younger. They provide checks for food for the mother and children, support for breastfeeding, regular visits with a dietician, regular iron, weight, and height testing for mother and children, and ideas for how to stay healthy on a budget including how to deal with picky eaters and allergies alike. While there are not a lot of options if you must go sugar free(diabetic, sugar allergy), there still are some options and they try to figure out a solution that WIC has set up for you. And thankfully, there now is an app that will tell you (pretty, but not fully accurately) if an item is WIC approved or not before you even reach the checkout stand!
Awesome place to help women who need the extra help
WIC is helping me feed my baby, so what can I say, I have mad respect for them. The kindest people youd ever meet, great flexibility with appointments, assistance for new mommies who are trying to figure out nursing. All in all its very great resource. Thank you Ogden WIC team!
A great plave for woman to get supplemental and nutrional items. Also helps with formula for those who dont or cant nurse.
Other than the shorter hours its a great benefit to the community.
Quick and friendly
Always friendly and helpful staff. Newer building and relatively clean environment. Could use a few upgrades.
Great place. They are very helpful with financial concerns and getting the right food for your babies and kids. Wonderful resource!!
Couldnt believe how fast and pleasant these ladies were to help a grandma get her grandson some help with foods he needs to stay healthy...the nutritionist was quick with solutions I felt we were having issues with...would highly recommend this place
They were amazing with my two boys. Very polite. Only negative is how long it takes to get an appointment with low availability until later in the day.
All of the staff is so helpful and friendly. They also offer nutrition classes and give you great tips and pointers.
I had been on them for a couple months and it was good until they denied me because my hubby made $8 too much because he got a tiny Christmas bonus and they wouldnt work with us even though it showed on his statement that it was a bonus and not his normal income.
Workers usually are upbeat and happy. Make me feel welcomed!! Great environment
Very nice staff. Was in and out in a timely manner.
They were kind and listened treated fair I would recommend to anyone
Amazing federal assistance program for food assistance, nutrition education and breastfeeding help.
Nice office. They are friendly and try to get you in and out as quickly as possible
It was our first time going but everyone was very kind.
Some staff arent very friendly while others are amazing
Helps you out a lot on food when low income. Staff are verry freandly and helpful
I have no personal interaction with the WIC program in Weber county. However my granddaughter and great great grandchild were using WIC until one of WICs $h**head online shoppers apparently reported that my granddaughter was selling her WIC purchased infant formula online BECAUSE IT HAD THE SAME NAME.I had purchased eight cans of the Soy based GERBER formula from my Ebay account, BECAUSE WIC WOULD NOT ALLOW HER ENOUGH TO PURCHASE A GREATER AMOUNT OF THE FORMULA AT THE TIME MY GRANDSON WAS EATING IT. Now that he is not eating the formula any more my granddaughter wished to let someone else purchase it at the lower price I had purchased it from Ebay. apparently that was wrong, and because of that she and my Great Grandson were removed from WIC. Cara Anne Sanders did NOTHING wrong, And I believe whe was wrongly removed from the WIC program. No one is or was trying to profit from WIC, sorry you cannot see it that way. But then, government entities always jump to conclusions without any input as to what was really happening! WHY IS MY PICTURE NOT POSTING?
Very helpful with helping me switch from Louisiana WIC to Utah wic
The ladies that work here were very kind, and getting an appointment never took long.
The front ladies are never happy, especially the one who takes the vitals of your children. But the nutritionists are always nice
People are nice enough. Just wish the nutritionist knew more than I did so they could help better.
Great program. Helps those with young children.
Not very organized. But good fitness coaches.
Helpful, but slow.
