The place is currently under construction but still functioning and with covid, have moved the pantry where people can pick up donations, behind the Newgate Mall. My 16 yr old and I volunteered to work at the original site and it was such a blessing and so much fun. The original workers were so kind in teaching us what to do. I hope we can volunteer again.

I all ways love the help they provide

I took my neighbor lately wasnt sure how it would be with the virus and social distancing going on. They had you back your car in and the volunteers had already put the food etc in boxes and they loaded everything in to your trunk. It was smooth ànd everyone was so nice.

These generous people helped hundreds of not thousands of federal government workers during the last government shutdown. They didnt make us feel like we were bad for seeking help, infact they were welcoming and helpful. I was surprised and thankful for the members of the LDS church who came to help out, it s great to see the community come together. Donate if you can, even if its time. This organization does it all for you. Im not ashamed to say that they helped me in my time of need.

This was my first time talking a client here, I LOVE THIS PLACE, all of the staff was Soo helpful and extremely inviting, all were very eager to answer all my questions as well as my clients questions.. They do a fantastic job at asking questions about what the person likes and helping them found what they are looking for... Amazing people All of them. Thank you

Great place to volunteer and help out the Offer community. A typical (but not required) shift is about 8:50-noon. Volunteer service is pretty well organized. We arrived about 8:45am, and that was just enough time to get acquainted with our duties for the first time, and begin help. We left about 11:30am for other appointments, and it was a big deal to them.

Fantastic location. Spent some time volunteering here recently. Amazing staff focused on those they help and nothing else. A VERY Christ centered place with friendly people everywhere.

I use this service personally and am so lucky to have such dedicated individuals donating their time to make sure my cart is full. I dont have to buy much at the grocery store thats for sure

Took advantage of an opportunity to volunteer here and it was a great experience. Wonderful to work in the food pantry and help local community members have food for their Thanksgiving holiday. CCS does a lot of wonderful good for the community.

The Service is so much better than the LDS service...i pick up some literature from there, and even took a YOGA session, it was AWESOME. Thank God for these wonderful ppl, i wouldnt have made it, without them

Catholic Community Services is a great resource for the community. They have a food pantry that is handed out on certain days of the week you have to call there or look them up on the website to get more info the all-around absolutely love it thanks for your help

Went in cause I lost my job and had zero food. Called and voicemail said pantry was open and you could sign up. When i got there lady said they werent and was told to come back the next week. Really need tk get their facts straight and remember to help people.

Its not right to turn away needy people because they dont have a lease agreement. They made me feel like I was a bad parent just because I dont have bills in my name. Be a better example of the love of Christ.

I am homeless and was told that CCS was very helpful. That was a long way from the truth. When I asked for food the woman that runs that part told me I didnt look homeless enough and would not give me food.I went back to get a voucher for clothes and was refused. The same woman that would not give me food said the clothes are for people who are no longer homeless.How can they say that they help the homeless?

They are such a life saver when you need extra help with food. Great variety, the volunteers are so sweet. I thank God for the CCS.

Be prepared to wait. It takes a lot of time to receive services, but it is an amazing organization that assists people/families in need. If you truely need help putting food on the table or figuring out a desperate financial situation this is a great resource to utilize.

Its under new management now I had a bad experience with a person I wont give names but I used to do grocery rescue in the county for Catholic community services and some of the employees were robbing the place blind. Marcie Valdez no longer works there she was a wonderful person Ill give her that. But now they need to learn a little more respect under new management and some of them do look down their noses at you Ill go on record to state that I was so embarrassed and let down and put down by my previous experience I no longer go there but I wish them the best of luck and hope in the future they learn from their mistakes and the mistakes of others. Marcie Valdez was a very dear and close friend of mine. I contributed a lot of my blood and sweat into Catholic community services and the community and Ill continue to dedicate my time to my community but refused to be look down on or degraded by those above me or those who will still from the poor to feed their own habits when they clearly have the means to support themselves.

Ive been going to the Ogden CCS for a few years now . Today I walked in the office to get some food and the director Debbie was sitting behind the desk. She looked up at me and said oh no and walked off. That wasnt very professional

Never answer your phone calls. Never interested at all in what you really need. Highly disorganized. Cant tell my case cause the lawyer who took my case litteraly acts like a mafia woman. Highly dissapointed. They act like a bunch of ignorants.

This is a true community service center it is the basis for all denominations in their goal to assist.

As a local social worker I help all my clients who qualify benefit from their services. CCS does alot of good for the surrounding communities, they deserve more recognition.

Catholic community services is a great place for help when your disabled or retired & just arent making it.You need to meet certain requirements.The staff there are friendly & helpful.
