Looking for flooring. Saw one I liked but the sample box was empty. So will see if a picture is worth a thousand words.

The store seems to be well layed out and has a good inventory of products suitable for contractors and DIY home owners. My only concern is that some of the specialists in the various departments seem to have forgotten the main reason they are there. I was looking for some specialized door hardware. Fortunately there were two sales specialists on the aisle with the type of hardware I was looking for. A young lady was helping a customer and seemed to be answering his questions and helping him find what he needed. The other sales person was stocking and facing products, but he had no customer he was workkng with. My young son and I walked up and down the aisle several times but could not find the exact item we were seeking. I said to my son loudly enough for the two sales people to hear, maybe we will need to try xxxxx to see if they have what we need. The salesman said in a mock exaggerated way, what?? But he didnt take a break from straightening shelves to offer assistance. Fortunately the other sales associate (Felicia) was just finishing up with her customer and immediately came to help us, and in a few seconds found exactly what we needed. Just an isolated anecdote, and my experience with this one associate certainly does not reflect the service skills of the other 99% of the employees (and I am a past customer and have had excellent service from numerous associates here), and we both may have been having a bad day. My point is that businesses such as this, which may be financially challenged due to the pandemic and other reasons, should not only concentrate on continual product training, but re-emphasize their associates customer service skills.

We wanted a garbage disposal installed, and they charged us a up front fee. They said that they would have someone contact us in a couple of days. We were gave the the runaround. We are still waiting to hear back. They still cant tell us why no one has contacted us. 😩

The store is mostly organized, but with little pieces and customers putting things wherever they want it can be difficult to keep separated. The staff here is very knowledgeable and offered assistance a few times. They are relatively fast when it comes to checking out as well. I have their credit card and I wish the benefits were better. People dont go there to just buy a few things here and there, but still 5% off really is nothing. I spent $300 on one trip and $1400 making the percent off about $17 and $70 which is nice, but they could do better. I also wish they did other discounts other than military because like many have picked up before the pandemic and through it, teachers and medical staff deserve a break somewhere and this is one of the only places lately Ive been to that doesnt do that. Ill definitely come back tho!

I wandered around in the tool section while the elder Lowes personnel ignored me repeatedly. When I finally asked where to find something he had a smart reply but made me feel about 3 in tall. As a woman I dont feel the need to be catered to but simple service and help would be nice.

Great customer service. An employee (I think his name was Matt) went to great lengths to help me get a single plastic storage bin from the top of the riser. The store is being rearranged right now so definitely use the app or website to locate your items, that was accurate, the in-store signage was not.

It can be a great place to buy home improvement things, however, if you will need help do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We have been working on some drip systems and spending a lot of time trying to find what we need. Its sad when you have been in an isle for nearly an hour and not seen an associate, or when you have had an associate paged to the area multiple times in a visit and not had anyone show up to help.

Asked where boxes were, sent me down isle 6. They were not down isle 6. Asked someone else they said isle 37. They were in isle 37. No signs at the self check that its card only. Then my total was $20.06. I had a $20 bill and my 2 kids. I asked the cashier if he had 6 cents. He said no Im nroke I was asking if there was any spare change that customers had left. Instead of helping me out I had to carry my 2 kids out to the truck to get 6 cents. I will never go back to this lowes.

Needed a very specific light bulb that is hard to find. Associate spent 20 minutes going through boxes to find me the right one.

Always have the stuff I need. Helpful and friendly staff. Expensive stock though.

I had a complete kitchen designed and installed by the Lowes in North Ogden (cabinets, sink, dishwasher, countertops, ) a year and a half later we are no longer able to use the dishwasher as its become completely unanchored from the cabinet. The dishwasher pulls completely out of the cabinet when you pull on the door to open the dishwasher. The store manager says our quartz counter tops might be the problem because they are hard to anchor the dishwasher to and they sometimes use sticky tape. At the time of my install remodel I bought a new cabinet to install and anchore my new dishwasher into and had Lowes installed the cabinet along with the new dishwasher. They measured and designed our new kitchen and we went with the recommendations they provided. The store manager Jennifer said they will not come out and fix the dishwasher (reinstall properly) as they only will cover up to one year with their install. We are to pay out of pocket for the repair and submit receipts to a third party vendor that covers the dishwasher from breaking (what a hassle.) The problem is If the dishwasher were installed properly and anchored correctly in the beginning it would have lasted longer than 1.5 years. If you are looking to get more than a year and a half out of your new kitchen project BEWARE of Lowes. The install work was done shotty and definitely not done properly as to last. Only use these guys if you are able and willing to reinstall the kitchen again in a year and a half and want to deal with additional contractors and then cross your fingers a third party vendor MIGHT reimburse you.

LOVE their garden section. They have a wide variety of plants, always have a discount section, and great deals.

This Lowes is great! Nothing out of the ordinary or different but the store is a bit off the normal routes so can be less busy.

Clean store, kinda organized at times. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful.......some others not so much. Great thing about this store is they have what your looking for most of the time.

Easily found help for what I was looking for on the floor, but did have to ask for help. No one asked if they could help me. The lady at checkout wasnt real friendly and she couldnt hear anything I was saying through that aweful plexiglass shield 🛡 Left feeling I didnt get everything I needed. Store was clean and well stocked, just need better customer service.

One star because I couldn’t do less. Don’t ever order from this store for a special project they don’t know what they’re doing they’ll tell you that they do instead of owning up to their mistakes. I paid thousands of dollars for shutters that they continued to lie about after losing my contract then saying they found it and faxed it to the company when they indeed did not. No one knows what they’re doing. No one will help. Don’t waste your time. Still fighting to get my order I paid for months ago!

I went into Lowes today looking for some simple wood for crafts. Jason (@ the pro desk) at the Ogden/Harrisville store went above and beyond. He took the time out of his busy day just for me, to find good looking pieces of wood perfect for my projects. He loaded everything up for me and was very courteous and helpful. Easy to talk to and very respectful. Next time i go to Lowes Ill be asking for Jason!Sandy was also great. She was prompt and a really sweet gal.

Dont waste your time. Stood around the appliance section for 25 min pushing the assistance button and listening to the intercom say special assistance needed int the appliance section. Finally I decided to call the store and after they transferred me to the garden section some old guy finally came over that could hardly walk. He said he would find me someone and hobbled off. I waited another 15 min then left.

Ive needed help on several occasions, whether its finding a certain item, getting advice on a project, or making a return/exchange. The staff there has always been kind, helpful, and knowledgeable.

We are doing a full home renovation on our own and this Lowes staff has been amazing to work with! Especially the people at the Pro desk! Denece, Jason and Hope have worked with us countless times to find the best deal, help us load the truck, and take an actual interest in what we are building! Theres been a handful of others in the flooring dept, the paint desk and cabinet section. Between youtube university and the selection and pros at Lowes, we are creating our dream house with a pretty slim budget. Thanks to the team again and again! Side note: theyve never said a word about our familys exemptions of not masking up, and thats rare nowadays. No pressure, hateful glares or anything, just being kind and helpful men and women! This is an excellent location. They matched our paint perfectly and made some suggestions on what would be most effective to paint with. Helpful and friendly staff, and it wasnt nearly as busy or crowded as Home Depot.

Usually go here quite often,last time was only able to find half my list of things,had to keep hunting up clerks to try to find stuff,they keep relocating stuff or dont have it anymore.

Stood there 20 mins after asking an employee for help asked again over intercom for someone to come help us.. We stood another 15 mins and finally i went to find someone. Awful customer service.

It was a hot day, my hands were quite full with a 3rd trip back to the store for another very heavy load of garden pavers stacked on the cart, ready to buy as my 2 young children were playing on the cart. (We quite enjoy the light mist sprayed from above in the Garden Center!) As soon as I payed for my items, a very kind young man, Jacob, was right there at the exit, asking if I would like some help. He pushed the cart to my vehicle & helped me unload the pavers while I gratefully buckled the kids in for the fastest, easiest escape ever. I cannot say enough about how that act of kind service affected me & my day. Jacob went the extra mile & won my loyalty from here on.

Took someone in the appliance section 20 minutes to find a hose for the gas range. If that is your section you should know it like the back of your hand. On the other hand I have had wonderful experiences generally. Last week I needed plumbers tape and the woman working had it right in her smock.

They were fantastic in helping us find what we were looking for.

This place is always clean. I couldnt find the light thing I was looking for. So great I found Ben, who works on that department. He took the time and helped me locate the items I was looking for. They were all the way up to the top top. He was great!

Love this Lowes. Its never over whelmingly busy. Matt in lumber is extremely knowledgeable. I usually ask for him if I need help. I got a great deal on my washer and dryer. Lowes offers miltary discounts but does not offer law enforcement. Please consider in the future. They are all men and women of service and we are grateful for them.

The only place I can get the concentrated Hot Shot bug spray. A little bit in a big spray bottle with water and it kills everything. Best Bug spray I have found. I am 55 years old and I have tried a lot of bug sprays & in my personal opinion its the best Ive found.

Bought some flooring online to pickup in store. I was told it will be ready in 3-7days for pickup. 10 days go by and I am told three different answers by three different customer support employees on the timeframe of when my item will ship. First I am told the item shipped March 12, then I am told it hasn’t shipped yet, and later I’m told it shipped March 20th. Wish I could just get an answer on when my product will be ready for pickup.

Had what I needed at a fair price, but allows people not wearing masks to roam the store.

I have been blown away at how amazing the customer service is!! I dealt with several different people through placing orders, changing orders, order problems. Each person I talked to was nice, friendly, helpful, and solved every problem! This will be my go to home improvement store from now on!

I’m a Lowe’s addict, it’s a problem. This store is clean and has great customer service. Their plant selection is only second to stand alone nurseries, but they have a huge garden section that I could spend hours in.

I was able to find Pansies in the Garden Department and associate was very helpful.

Went to the Clearance aisle and found a Box of tile with the price of $3.53. While other boxes around had a different price for instance a $1.63 per piece, stated clearly on the price tag. As I took the $3.53 Box up to check out they rejected the sale and then the floor manager Dean came and told me I clearly dont know how things are priced. Then threw his hands in my face and walked away while I was telling him I know how to read a price tag along with the others that said per piece. Very unprofessional, did not know how to handle an irate customer. I ended putting everything I grabbed back for the tile. Until a store manager is clocked in, I should be receiving a call, per cashier! This will probably be my last trip to Lowes in Ogden, Utah. I tried giving them a try based on their pledge to low prices, but Ill be happy to pay the few cents more at The Home depot! -honor your prices, honor your error!!!

Im not sure what I would end up doing with myself if I didnt have a Lowes to go to. I spend an awful lot of time in that store, buying things that I probably really dont need.

We ordered a screen door the employee matt barely acknowledged us was rude and didnt even thank us for our purchase. I wish I could say this was an isolated event but it wasnt I might make the drive to riverdale store even though we live close by .please do better matt was the employee

Great store. Better than the other hardware store. I always feel there is something new in lowes. The staff are pleasant and nice. I personally havent had a problem here. Unlike the other orange store.

I love the set up they have now to wait in your vehicle and them bring you the items you have purchased. Other purchases I sometimes had no offer to help me take it to my vehicle. They seem to be getting the online orders much more organized.

You know Lowes...... why are you even looking at a review? Well this Lowes just happens to excell at color matching at the paint counter. Ive had a number of employees at other locations try and fail to color match an easy egg shell white paint. Not at this Lowes. everytime Ive had them color match something, it is SPOT on. I will go out of my way for the paint counter here. Very friendly employees, and they appear to be knowledgeable in their department. Great location, great people. Ill keep coming to this location.

Not specific to this store. Lowes has a lame 90 day return policy. Missed it by a couple days and they wouldnt even give me in-store credit with my reciept. Last straw for me. Never seem to have the items I need. Workers never seem to know where things are and act bothered if you ask them a question outside their area. Going the extra distance to the Orange Box from now on.

Needed several items including a piece of interior trim and all the pieces were sold in single pieces and when we went to pay they tried to charge us for a 12 pack bundle and then proceeded to tell us that all the pieces were supposed to be bundled in 12 and they wouldnt sell us just 1. They were really rude worst customer service ive had in a long time we wont be back

Most employees are clueless and energy list did I mention clueless and not just because of their gender female bordered borderline disrespectful with their lack of work ethic and a place where getting things done is important to the customers there

Great customer service and really friendly staff. I wanted to have a team copied so I went to the automated machine to do it myself but before I swipe my credit card the person from the paint department came up to me and told me that if I go to aisle 13 I can have somebody actually cut me the key and save me like $3 so I thought that was really good of them to tell me.

I bought a new Dryer on Saturday from Lowe Appliance department. As a 70 year local citzen I had a need. I sought a fair price; I first looked on line. I use that platform often. The prices seemed high; they were approx $200.. for a no warranty. I shopped at the 3 big box stores. I am worried about size. I need to dry my comforters. I got a half price New in the box;; 1 season out of DATEGENERAL ELECTRIC AMERICAN MADE WITH A CORD. and A NEW DISPLAY MODEL SINK FAUCET; another need in my home For under $5O0. Including Tax.and a year warranty. My sales lady delivered to my pick up. The price would have included delivery & installation, . However, I still had clothes in my old dryer. My neighbors came to my aid, I am ready for my holiday weekend. Thank you Lowes. LSDAVIES.

Never had a bad experience at this location. I prefer Lowes over Home Depot for the wide variety of products and the high quality they all have. The other awesome thing? I can take my dog inside. They let non service animals in and I love it.

Travis was very helpful and patient while coming up with multiple solutions on how to fix a broken water spicket.

Fantastic Customer Service! There was a mix up with my order that was not handled well in the moment, but they stepped up unprovoked after the fact and made it right once they realized what had happened. They really wanted to earn business and loyalty; frankly, they got it from me. Will be headed back for my next project.

They cut my glass for me perfect to size! I broke my favorite mirror years ago and couldnt find the size glass to replace it. After doing some digging I found out lowes could help me out and it was awesome!!

We had a great experience with Danny in plumbing. We are finishing our basement and were at a loss on how to make a particular plumbing problem work. Danny was patient and very informative. He walked us through what we needed to do and what tools/equipment we needed to do it. His service reminded us of a Lowes commercial where the worker is all smiles and extremely helpful. Walked past 4 customer service employees and not one acknowledged us we had to go find someone to assist us they were appliance reps setting a washer and dryer display they told us were to find what we needed. I tell you I am very dissatisfied with your store the cashier was ok not overly friendly though. You need to wo rd k on your customer service skills

Has tools and materials for every job imaginable from home improvement, to remodeling and construction both residential, and commercial. The staff is consumer oriented and strive for positive client interaction and return business making this Home Improvement business a mark above their competitor, Home Depot!

Anytime we come here we are always greeted and helped. The employees are always so knowledgeable. Today we want to thank Ben who by coincidence we kept running into at the store and each time he asked if we needed help. We finally reached the point in our trip where we needed assistance with having some wood cut and he was just so happy to help. We loved his attitude and willingness to help us.
