My boys go here and thier barber is Devan. He is legit and very skilled. We have tried a lot of barbers since moving to Utah from California and he is by far the BEST! This man has skills!! My boys come out looking so fresh an d clean. Thank you Devan!!

$30 for a basic haircut?? Thats more than double what I have been paying for the last 8 years in Brigham City, with no appointment needed. I think Ill take the drive back up there for a more reasonable price.

I had never been to Gents before as Im new to the area. I happened upon it by searching up places and am so glad I did! I booked an appointment and didnt specify a certain barber because I obviously didnt know any of them. Chris ended up being my barber, and he was so awesome! He made me feel cared about as a client and cared to get to know me and provided me with the haircut and experience for which I was hoping to receive. I was looking for a good barbershop to trim and clean up my beard. Based on all the good reviews, I chose Gents. My experience was just as positive as all the reviews I read. Shandi was the one who cut and trimmed my beard, and she did a dang good job! She knew what she was doing. I told her what I wanted and then let her do her thing, and it turned out better than I thought it would. She even fit me in to her schedule for a head shave. This is a fun, clean and professional environment. And I will most definitely return, and recommend this shop to friends.

Scheduled a beard trimming at 14:30 got in about 5 minutes early and was taken care of immediately. Everyone was very friendly and Aaron gave me a very professional looking trimming. Will most definitely be going again and will recommend this shop to my friends.

First time ever at a barber shop Chris was amazing and very helpful!

The basic haircut is 10 times better than ones at the chain salons, although the quality comes with a bit more price, but well worth it. My basic cuts have been $25 (in 2019). They know how to make men look good whether its for a thick coif, thinning hair, or beards and mustaches. Definitely recommend and will go back.

Amazing experience. I went in to get a haircut and to get my beard trimmed. Ive never trimmed my beard before and decided to give Shawn creative control. Very pleased with how it turned out. The hot towel treatment was a highlight for me. I left there with an added measure of confidence and feeling like a gentleman. Worth it.

TL,DR: Friendly staff. Quality over speed. Best beard trim Ive ever had.Cool saloon vibe. Im not particularly interested in that type of stuff, but it fit well and liked it!First time customer experience was great! My barber was Chris, and I loved him. Im a man with thick hair well past my shoulders who just wanted a couple inches off. I could tell he wasnt very experienced in that type of barbering, but rather than doing a half-a**ed job (can you swear on here?), he got help from the more experienced barber. This added time to my haircut, but the quality was excellent. Im glad he didnt rush it.I also got a beard trim, and my beard looks the best it ever has.

I have lived on three different continents and in three different cities in the US (Cleveland area; Winston-Salem, NC; and Ogden), and Gents is indisputably the finest barbershop I have ever been to, ever. No fade is cleaner, no cut is meaner. Just straight up quality from every barber whos got a chair in there. They take their time and make sure youre happy with how you look.

Chris gave me a cut so good that I was awarded a job in less than 10 minutes during an interview...cuz they were distracted by how good I looked. Shandi gave me a cut so good that it was wedding-picture-worthy on my wedding day! I styled it on my own and it was still perfect 3 days after the haircut. After my consecutive perfect experiences I decided to give Devan a turn with a new idea on my hair and beard. He made personal conversation while giving me a new look that blew my mind! I drove all the way from SLC to get a shave here and it was well worth the drive! I went around 3:45 on a Wednesday and there was no wait. Shawn helped me with a trim and a straight razor trim. Im in the process of growing out a beard (well see how this goes) but Shawn was really helpful and knowledgeable on how to grow in out and what products to use. I will be making the drive back to Ogden for sure.

I enjoy the atmosphere of the place and everyone is kind. The cuts are decent and the price is pretty normal for a cut. The only issue seems to be timing. My wait time as an appointment seemed to be the wait time you’d expect as a walk in (a half an hour after my appointment time). Then my cut took an hour and we didn’t really finish. We didn’t get to the straight blade or the hot towel cause I had to go. I’ve never had a basic cut take so long. I think most of the guys in there can be a little faster and on time, I believe it was due to the guy that I got.

The guys there are pretty cool and offer great customer service. The owner is the coolest though.

I travel full-time for work. It is always somewhat of a pain to find a new barber. I started having Shandi cut my hair when I moved to Utah for a project. I have gotten a hair cut at numerous barbershops. I can honestly say Shandi gives one of the best fades and beard trims I have received. She is a very talented barber.

This is my usual barber. They take your hair serious and thats what I like. Its a premium priced barber and you get what you pay for. I always come out feeling great about how I look.

Most places you go to seem to know how to do womens hair, haircuts for boys, or basic crappy cuts for guys who dont care what their hair looks like anyway. If you dont find yourself in any of these categories, go to a place that only does mens cuts. Gents. You will get a hip, classy haircut here. Not a single hair goes overlooked. The hot towel and neck shave really put the whole experience over the top. I cant recommend them enough.

Moved up here from SLC, and with this being the first barber shop Ive been to since moving, I do not need to look anywhere else. I enjoyed my experience and will continue to come back. My only advice is that they should try greeting customers as they walk in. I watched a dude without an appointment sit there for 10 minutes until someone said anything to him.

Primarily apt based but if your lucky walk ins can be squeezed in. Basic haircut was $25, a bit pricy for me but pretty standard. The atmosphere was great and the barber did an ok job. A couple parts where my fade needed a quick cut with my razor at home to even it out.

As paternity leave came to an end I wanted, nay, needed to relax and shave before going back to work. So I combined the two.Gents has the environment and quality of a classic/vintage barbershop that every man dreams of.

Worst Experience ever, seems like they just don’t care about their business. I kept on waiting for my appointment for about one week & on the day of appointment barber Ryan didn’t show up and he cancels my appointment just few minutes prior.These people come to work whenever they want. They don’t care about their clients schedules. I’m going to Moore’s barbershop, I heard a lot of good things about them.I don’t even wnna give one start to Gents Barbershop.
