Took a friend here. He came out looking good and I thought his directions were well followed, while protecting him from appearing as if he had just received a deeply discounted cut.There was only one stylist when we arrived.Due to SARS-2 we waited outside in the car until her customer exited.I normally tip for a cut what a cut here costs - $5.00 accepting cash only. Like the other male friend who recommended this shop, and has been going here for years, I think only fair to tip an additional five.Both men have nice looking cuts. Great service to this community...people who need/want a boost can obtain supportive quality work here.

Ive never had a problem myself getting a haircut.I have a 13 month old son. We waited over half an hour for a haircut. Cheryl, was about to cut my sons hair and her comments made me unsure if she really wanted to cut my sons hair. I felt like she was very reluctant. Long story short, she felt like she didnt want to cut my sons hair and that it was too much trouble. So we left and it was a waste of an afternoon.This place is made for people that are over 65 years old and Cheryl is a poor example of somebody who should have more customer service and courtesy towards the businesses clients.

The girls are great. The cuts are great. And the price is perfect. I really enjoy visiting racks its clean and friendly. I went In on a Saturday around noon and didnt even have to wait.

Its an okay barbershop. If you go there use the woman who works there for your haircut. She is the one that does the superior haircuts.

Very nice older gentleman cut my hair. I was disappointed in the hair cut :/ he cut a very short spot on the back of my head. I had to go elsewhere to get fixed.Not recommended

The ladies that work there are awesome! They all give such great cuts and styles and every time Ive been there the wait time is 10 minutes or less and thats without an appointment! I would highly recommend Racks Barber shop!

Matt here does a great job. He is the only one here I will let cut my hair. If your in need of a quick trim stop by and ask for Matt.Get here before 4 in the afternoon and Saturday or you wont get in.

Cut my hair crooked. Sad. Cut grandsons crooked, too. Sideburns should be even and hair not lopsided. But, the price is amazing.

It’s not worth 4 dollars when have to go straight to another hair cutting business to fix your hair. I’m pretty sure the person that cut my hair really doesn’t know how to cut hair.

Best real barbers around

Ive been going to Racks off & on or awhile. Mainly because its $5 & they usually do a decent job or at least get close to what I ask for. But the last 3 times Ive gone theres been 3 completely different people cutting hair each time. Which is annoying to have to explain how I like my hair, but 2 of the 3 tikes they got it really well & the other times its just been some basic bland buzz cut where al lI can do is spike it. Today I went in, waited & watched a Hispanic lady cut the hair of 2 other hispanic kids. Their hair cuts looked the same, buzz cut and so short on top all they can do is spike ot or fro-hawk it. Which is fine cause their mother looked happy with it. So I sat down & showed her a picture of how I like my hair. Longer on top & wavy with the sides short. I asked her to keep it longer on top & tight on the sides. I asked her if she could cut it like the picture. She said yes, so I figured I was ok. Not only did she keep jabbing the clippers into my head as she cut my hair but she cut off WAY too much hair. THEN decided to ask me if I liked it. Well, with the damage already done, what could I do? Ask her to put back 2 inches of hair so it could be long on top like I asked in the first place? I shouldve just walked out. If I wanted my hair to look like the 2 hispanic kids whose hair she cut before mine, I wouldve pointed at them & said cut my hair like theirs is since its all you know how to do, apparently. When I asked if she could cut my hair a certain way, she couldve been honest & said sorry I dont think I can do that & I wouldve waited for one of the other guys to be done. No problem. She told me I could wet my hair & use product to style it like the picture I showed her. The picture shows hair at least 2-3 inches longer than how she cut mine. My hair is so short all I can do is spike it or do that stupid fro-hawk like she cut for the kids before me. Everyone else had their hair cut the way they asked. Done going to Racks. If they cant keep the same people for more than 2 months at a time or hire people who know more than one hair cut, why bother? She took off 1 1/2- 2 inches too much. I know its $5, but Ive been to other $5 hair cut places who did exactly what I asked for.

Go on weekdays, Saturdays are very busy. Cheap but their good!!
