Just visiting Utah from Texas and I have to say that not only was this the best service Ive had here but it was also the best Mexican food I have ever had. Renee was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind and her recommendations were spot on. The Seafoam Margarita was the best Margarita Ive ever tasted, absolutely delicious. It was so smooth. Perfection in a glass. If youre looking for a great place to eat dont hesitate in stopping here, you wont regret it. ❤

The menu selection was a little more limited than what I’ve seen at a Mexican restaurant but I guess that means what they do make the do it well! The food was very good, but I really wanted steak fajitas but settled for the chicken! I was also disappointed that it did not come with rice, that was extra, wished I knew beforehand. The service was very friendly as well.

Best Mexican food Ive had in Utah the food is great! And the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant itself also is very nice and has a nice relaxing vibe to it Tables and Booths are set up very well to where you dont feel like your too close to other guests which is nice. And the food actually tastes authentic unlike many other places coming from Colorado its been hard to find a authentic Mexican restaurant in Utah besides El Paisa Grille but this is the closest!

Love Mexican food? This is one of the BEST. Diverse menu with something to please everyone. Now, get out of your box. I am not vegan. Im not vegetarian. But I ordered the Vegan Black Bean Burrito. One of the best. Its Ginormous! Loaded with rice and black beans. Topped with slivered almonds. Enough to share.

First time visit for me. Service was wonderful and food was so satisfying! Theres a great atmosphere in the restaurant that really made the experience enjoyable.

The restaurant was busy on a Friday evening but we still got great service in a timely manner. The food was excellent, I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas. The also had great vegan options. Wed recommend Sonora Grill and return there for sure.

Server was very attentive but not over-bearing. Food was phenomenal!!! Everything was very fresh with beautiful presentation. Nice environment. First impression...it felt a little loud. But tables are spaced far apart so that wasnt actually an issue. We still had great conversation and could hear each other well. Highly recommend this place!

We made a dinner reservation because it gets busy after 5 pm. The service was great. They have a vegan/vegetarian menu. Free chips and salsa ($2.99 for a refill) they give you plenty to start with. The agua fresca is tastier than the flavored lemonade. The vegan fajitas were delicious. I liked the corn tortillas better, the flour didnt seem home made like I was expecting. The vegan fajita burrito was delicious. The vegan sopapillas arent stuffed with anything but are still tasty and comes with vegan whipped cream.Yum! 🤤 Great spot for all diets.

We arrived & were seated promptly by a pleasant young lady. We were offered beverages & our questions about them answered. The menu had some unusual dishes - not the same things we see at other Mexican restaurants. We ordered & our food arrived in a timely manner. We all ordered different dishes & they were all excellent. We have found our new Mexican restaurant!

The food and service was excellent. Its hard to find good vegetarian Mexican food - I was pleasantly surprised.

Went here last weekend and it was so good! The wait wasn’t too bad but definitely worth it! I’m not much of a Mexican food fan but this is amazing Mexican food! We ordered the queso fundido and they prepare it at your table and that’s a pretty awesome experience plus it was so good! Also had the flautas (chimichangas) and they were so so so delicious! Our server Nate was so great! And so helpful considering I don’t each much Mexican he has all the answers to every question I had! We also had the sangria special and it was bomb!! We’ll definitely be going back there on the random craving nights!

AMAZING service. Best chili rellenos I have ever had and the mocha cheesecake was fantastic as well. Super impressed with the staff and the price is cheap for what they deliver. The manager, Francisco was extremely professional and welcoming. Highly recommend, will be returning.

We loved having dinner here! The ambiance is really nice inside. Our waitress Chelsea was so warm and helpful. The food was delicious. We ordered the shrimp salad and fish tacos. Yum! The margarita was on point too! 😉

This is great restaurant! We are certainly going to go again. All tasted good. Our server had been very attentive and sweet. We had the best of anything left over food and it was at a great price!

Rice looked half eaten (we didnt want rice or beans or tortillas) and definitely not enough to do a taco night for multiple people :( sadly the response from management was not as expected.. maybe, sadly, something has changed...

We’ve been a few times during the pandemic via take out and tonight finally ate in. Such amazing food. I usually get the Flautas but chose the Sonoran Dinner Combo tonight. It was awesome! The food is great and next time I’ll get the queso they make on the spot for you.

Wish i could give this place 0 stars. went in with a group of friends and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US GOT FOOD POISONING. the waiter kept forgetting our table and made a snarky remark to my friend about not letting her order an alcoholic drink (she never asked for one or even said anything about wanting one.) i called the next day to speak to the manager. she was initially sorry and told me she was going to see about giving me refund, so i had my friends call as well (because who wants to pay for poisoned food?) she said i will be getting a call from the owner regarding the situation. i never got a call and she told my friend that since nobody else at the restaurant has called with a complaint besides my table she can’t refund us. i was so sick i had to call out of work, my boyfriend did too and so did two of my friends. i should’ve called the health department.

Excellent Mexican Food!

We have ordered both take out and dined in. They are amazing. They have options for food allergies or preferences. I love their vegan food. The customer care is amazing, I really appreciate them still wearing masks, helping to keep the public safe until more people are vaccinated. The place was clean and fast but good service. Take out is always warm and they always make sure they make a note about my allergy. High recommend!

Very tasty food at quite reasonable prices. I had the shredded beef enchiladas and they were great. The atmosphere was quite cozy and there is ample parking on the streets.

Fantastic food, great portion sizes, best homemade chips and salsa ive had in the state! Just a tad pricier than other, cheaper tasting Mexican restaurants, but absolutely worth it! The aqua fresca is phenomenal as well!

Food was okay. My husbands was much better than mine. It was like they made my food 20 min prior to bringing it out and let it sit under the warmers. Super dry and barely warm. Probably isnt like that most of the time.

It was a very bad experience. They said it was a 30 minute wait but turned out to be 50 minutes. They couldnt get anyone to clean the table off. Finally got seated an ordered, another 50 minutes before we got our food an then it wasnt hot. If it would have been hot it would have been good. Would not recommend this place.

Enjoyed this place! The green salsa is to die for! Chips are good. Service was great! Parking is easy in the parking garages. Atmosphere was lively. Pretty busy on a Friday night, we waited for about 45 minutes. Prices were a little spendy. They had a vegan/vegetarian portion of the menu, which I appreciated. Definitely worth checking out if youre in the area!

Im really surprised the reviews are as great as they are. The food was pretty bland. Im super sensitive to spice and I was underwhelmed with it. The drinks might be the best part of this place.

Stopped in with my family, food was very flavorful and filling. Nate was our server and was fantastic, very friendly and one of the best servers we’ve had. Definitely recommend going.

Great atmosphere, delicious as always. Had the crisp avocado taco and a Virgin mango daiquiri. The flavors were just the right amount of sweet, tang, and kick if spice with the sauce.

Very clean, friendly staff and fairly quick service. I dont do well with spicy foods and I went for a work lunch. I thought I was safe ordering chicken enchiladas with mild sauce but the chicken ended up being quite spicy. I then tried the mango tacos and by the end they or the sauce were a little spicy. So if you are sensitive to spicy, like me, maybe ask what is not spicy before you order. Everyone else in the group loved their order 👍🏻

The Sonora Grill is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Ogden. The food is always delicious, and plated beautifully.

We had Sonora cater a 55 person meal for us and it was AMAZING! Everyone was extremely pleased with not only the quality of the food but the customer service is outstanding! Kali took such good care of us and everyone in the restaurant was so helpful and friendly at pickup. Sonora is an Ogden staple and highly recommended!!

Allowed us to come in and dine within 10 mins of closing. Food was excellent, service was excellent, pricing was excellent, and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

The food was really good! It was the best chile verde we have had in a long time. Our waitress was also very polite and attentive to us. Well probably go back again soon!

Friendly waitstaff. Interesting chile relleno. First time I tasted the breading. Novel combination of cheeses for the stuffing. Used a problono chile cooked al dente. Notice the tortilla. I had to make my own chips. Interesting.

Worst customer service I have received. Went here early on a Sunday (the place was empty) they asked if we had a reservation. We did not have a reservation but we figured we’d be able to get in because the place is empty. They said that we would have to wait 10 minutes to get a table available. Remember the place is empty. And then they started to see other people that did not have a reservation either. When I spoke to the hostess about this she acted like she didn’t know what was going on. I got up and walked out and never looked back. But I mean who puts fruit and salsa???

A great Mexican food restaurant at a reasonable price. The service is attentive and the menu varied but focused. Theyre handling covid-19 well and we saw a number of precautions in place. Well worth it if youre in the area!

Offered 2 types of salsa and the large corn chips to start. Copious servings of entries. Fish tacos were a bit hard to eat since almost impossible to hold in your hand. Nice server.

Great experience! Our server was Renee and she was wonderful. She made great recommendations that me and my fiancé both thought tasted great! There was an error in our order but she fixed it and was absolutely a 5 star server, really made our night!

Used to be a good place to eat, but you can tell theyve relaxed on quality. We waited 2 hours for our food, our waiter did his job, the bare minimum, but you could tell he was overworked and stressed out. The food tasted burnt and like someone ashed a cigarette in it to give it, you know, flavor to it, all of it, all of the food, to include the salsa for the chips. Sad, such a great place DRINKS ARE STILL AMAZING!

Nearly perfect. Customer service was great. The order had a minor mess-up and they brought me new one immediately. Pleasant and positive. A little on the pricey side and the food wasn’t the highest quality but was indeed good. Tortillas are thick and juicy.

They have great guacamole, but I dont care for their chips (theyre basically tostadas) or their salsa. The shredded chicken is very good. The service was good too.

We came here because of all of the high reviews. Unfortunately the food did not meet the expectations of our palates. Many of the items tasted like they needed seasoning. Our party of 4 all felt something was off. Had I known about the plate promise the owner offered we definitely would have taken him up on it. Our server Renee was awesome and the mango sauce that came with my fish tacos was actually amazing. I love supporting small businesses, especially those that do so much for our community so maybe we will have to go in again and try some plates that we can love.

The food is ok but expensive and some of it lacks taste somewhat. I think that the quality is good just didnt care for the filling in the chllli relleno dish which is my favorite. But I will certainly try another dish at another time and appreciate the fact that you are a small independent restaurant- the kind of businesses I feel we should be wholeheartedly supporting.

Had a reservation for a family dinner and it could have been an overwhelmed kitchen, or our party size, but waiting for over an hour for really cold food with the waitress barely coming around, it was a disappointment. Two stars for my two delicious cocktails! Also, miss the days you could do half red / half green sauce on enchiladas. Last couple times I’ve requested it - they’ve been adamant you have to choose only one.

The service and food were great! It is reasonably priced and my waiter was knowledgeable about dietary needs and answered all my questions.

Decent place with good food & pleasant service. The only down side I would say is the prices could be a little better, most dishes here start at around $15, $10 for appetizers and $3 for drinks. The drink prices are by far outrageous as many other restaurants are doing the same thing. Especially when the average of a single soda served (even factoring in the straw) is less than 0.08¢. I did enjoy the food nonetheless but it is a bit Americanized. Not authentic Mexican but again pretty yummy.

If you want any flavor in the salsa order habanero this food is flavorless and not even worth eating. If you want a normal fajita dont order them here.

When you first sit and view the menu your wallet almost punches you in the ovaries, but then the chips and salsa arrive and your body relaxes and your mind calms. As you order your meal you wonder how the food will justify the price... But it does strangely. Now, the question is if its a one trick pony.

One of our favorite stops anywhere for Mexican. I love the Arroz con Pollo. The ceviche was fantastic last time we were there.

The food was absolutely delicious and was served in a timely manner. However we were told that the wait list was around 15 minutes and proceeded to wait just under an hour. Dining here is a real treat, just learn from our mistakes and be sure to have a reservation beforehand.

I love this restaurant. I typically order the cochinitas pabil with extra pickled onions. Their queso is also delicious, and they make it right in front of you on a sizzling skillet.

Service was great!!! Food was ok I had the Blackened Shrimp Salad, It was alot of lettuce, Sliced Avocado Cucumber, almost minced pineapple. no onion, no carrot,, no flavor,, the dressing was bland.. My Husband had the Carne Asada Burrito it was just ok.
