Ok I dont usually comment but have to in this case. Stopped by the other day (2pm) with a suspected brake issue and asked if they could take a look. Bob ( the owner)put my car on the lift within 5 minutes and said he would have someone take a look. His first comment was that my brakes looked fine but would double check. Wife and I were very impressed with him and his crew.. all friendly and knowledgeable. He turned my rotors and problem was solved. He wanted to cut me break since I am from out of town (Florida) and was on vacation. I paid him a very fair price and gave him a tip as well. These types of businesses are hard to find, honest and timely.

I have gone to Brake Time for years. This is the only place I can feel certain will always do an outstanding job no matter what the repair at the best price. The technician’s are some of the most experienced in Weber County and they have never disappointed. Never have they fixed something I did not ask them to and are always 100% upfront an honest about cost, parts, labor, and wether or not they can or cannot do the repair.

Fair and honest with whats actually going on with your vehicle. He has more than one time told me not to worry about something because it will not affect anything on the car. My only recommendation is to inquire on what parts he usesthey tend to be the cheapest but thats also reflected in the price.

These guys were kind enough to respond to our brake emergency first thing in the morning on a road trip through town. Even though they were busy, they got us in right away and made the necessary repairs in an extremely timely manner. We really appreciated the help and would highly recommend this business to anybody else!

Bob’s prices and work seemed to be great at first. I went there several times to get my car repaired. However the parts that were installed were cheap and failed within months of install.Examples: brake pads wore out within 4 months,Radiator that was installed failed within a year, and catalytic converter(very expensive part) failed within 6 months...I will not be returning to this shop.

Good place! I called them on a Saturday about an hour before closing. He had one of his technicians take my car apart and check my brake pads. A few minutes later, Bob took me out to show me they were still brand new. I told them I would come back for an oil change this upcoming Tuesday, and they offered just to get it done today! I will be back for an alignment. Good to know theres an honest local auto repair shop so close to where I live!

I live in Riverton and GLADLY drive an hour each way to Bobs when a car issue has me stumped because, after much trial and error, I know that a fully competent mechanic thats also honest and doesnt rip you off is a very rare phenomenon, especially in UT. Horrible customer service!!! I had been promised several call backs for a quote on an engine replacement and never received one. In fact when I called back to get an update they seemed to have zero knowledge of any previous call and kept pushing me off. I gave them DAYS to get a quote together. Everyone that answered the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive. So unprofessional. Dont bother working with these jerks.
