Where do i start? The employees look bored. All the treadmills have plastic barriers between them so you look like zoo animals ready for veiwing. If the excuse is covid then that is a poor excuse. Most members dont wear mask, and the ones that do usually wear it incorrect. Not to mention members rarely wipe down equipment thoughroughly. This place is a joke. I do not think the local franchise owner even comes in to see thier investment. No wonder i see more people switching from PF to crunch. Oh and the massage chairs are not 6 ft apart, go figure. The staff and owner are clueless. Come to this gym if you cant sleep and want to get bored to sleep. A library has better vibes than this location. Odessa Tx west county

I have enjoyed working out at Planet Fitness. I like the wide variety of workout equipment, and the staff has always been friendly. I always see the members wiping down the equipment... I appreciate that. Its a nice place in my honest opinion.

Be careful! No way to cancel membership unless you go in to your original branch (not really an option in the middle of a pandemic with pre existing conditions) or send a certified letter, which also involves going out in public in an pandemic. Hardly ever used it and when I tried to cancel, told them I didnt want to come in due to illness, they couldnt care less. And I did contact the management of the Odessa gym. They confirmed the 2 options - certified mail or come in. Either the management is not trained properly or the reply is not true.

Staff is always friendly and the facilities are clean. Ver comfortable place to work out.

Always professional, always a clean environment. Some machines could use some attention as items are torn or knobs missing.

I found the people to be of no help, attitudes were pretty pathetic. Parking is a total joke as well, especially for those of us with larger trucks and/or jeeps. Unfortunately this is the only location within a decent distance, and the tanning beds are horrible, they need new bulbs. When people pay for a black card, the beds shouldn’t take this long to build a tan.Other than that, equipment is clean and well maintained, facilities are clean, plenty of room to workout As well.

I love it, very quite, hardly any people in the a.m so it works perfectly for me. And financially its very economical.

I love Saturdays because it’s not packed like mondays 😅

I was a member for about 3 years. Due to covid-19 I was able to cancel my membership over the phone. This was very convenient. I never had any issues with going to this location except that they didnt really enforce any of the planet fitness rules. A lot of people were not cleaning the machines when they were done with them so you had to make sure you cleaned the machine BEFORE and AFTER you used it. The same went for the tanning beds. Almost every time I used a tanning bed I had to clean it. And they didnt make people abide by the dress code either. Several girls would walk around in there in just a sports bra and shorts. But it was a quiet place to workout. Which was nice!

Was charged monthly fee on December 2020 when my receipt clearly states till January 2021. Called 12/17/2020 associate told me manager was sick but she would come in next day, wrote down my info to get called back by manager. Next day I called and they told me she would come in at 3 p.m, called at 3 only to be told she left early because she was sick, asked associate Jesus why she didnt call back and he told me manager dont call back when she is sick. At this point they are avoiding me and refuse to give back refund even tho Receipt Clearly Says 1/17/2021. Trying to get ahold of Corporate.Are you serious about your response??? You are telling me to waste my time by going to the club when I clearly know there is NO MANAGER THERE!!! WOW!!

Its very clean, the machines are separated very well.

They need to make up their minds on their monthly fee, manager was out of town, assistant or “closest to manager” as he put it. Gave me the go around. Telling me the last employee I talked to gave me the wrong monthly fee. He had no idea what he was talking about. Giving me all these numbers that went up higher from what the website had posted, he said it was because the tablet showed the taxed amount. When he clicked on said “already” taxed price on the tablet, it went higher because it got taxed again. At one point he admitted he had no idea why the annual fee was higher in their system. Be careful when dealing money and make sure you talk to someone knowledgeable.

Nothing was stocked in the womens locker room. All the shower hooks are broken off as well. The showers themselves were disgusting, with brown streaks all over the shower curtains. Frankly, really gross.

Nice place to workout but management needs to notify workers about keeping it sanitized n cleaned. Too many times I see people forget their napkins in between the machines.

This is a nice gym, sometimes it gets a little packed but people are usually quick about using machines. Everyone is usually good about wiping down their machines also, even though others dont care and they just walk away lol. Even then, the staff is constantly cleaning and refilling cleaning bottles and napkins. Prices are ok, depending on what type of membership you have. Overall, would recommend to anyone thats looking for a judgement free gym!

Wow my first time at Planet Fitness was amazing. I love how the staff enjoy working were professional and kind. I love this place Im so excited I became a member here it feels like home . I would recommend all my friends and family members.

Temperature is way too warm this time of year. Summer was great!! Fall, winter and spring..... They keep it too warm. Questioning and complaining does no good. I just Cancelled my black gold portion of membership. If I cant use the rooms due to temperature, Im not paying for it. Everything else is great though. They should survey their members to see how they can improve.

I usually rate this place higher. I have been going here for some time, but today, the employees that are working (2 young women and a young man) behind the desk are extremely loud and obnoxious. Very sad to see this happening to this establishment. I could not find a manager to inform. Actually the young man was fine, but the younger ladies were extremely unprofessional. I would have posted a video of it. Everyone in the gym was turning and looking at them out of annoyance. Hope it gets better. Do love the new equipment and the second gentlemen was working diligently cleaning the machines.

Clean facility and friendly staff. I feel comfortable working out here. Just wish it wasnt soo hot in there and the parking lot wasnt soo tight and designed weird. I will not work out here when it is super cold outside. It made me and my daughter sick from sweating soo bad in the hot gym and then going out into the cold air afterwards.

I’ve been charged random fees for the past 6 months and after calling and trying to get them to stop and cancel my subscription the arrogant woman running the place tells me she can’t unless I pay for postage and mail her a letter that says the same thing I told her over the phone. This whole company is a scam! Don’t let them steal your money. I hope planet fitness goes bankrupt as soon as possible! And I hope the manager at this location gets genital warts!

Worst customer service ever ! First night just wanted to sign up get going. All I got was a run around. Next day talked to manager said I wanted to pay for a year up front. She said come in talk to Diane so I did. Came in and she wouldnt let me pay for a year without having my account information and they dont do a year membership period ! So I bank with Colorado and didnt have that info but I also bank with Meta bank. Gave her that routing number and account number and she said they dont deal with that bank ! Remember I wanted to pay 100 percent of everything up front. This place sucks ! Customer service is rude. They should take a class on customer service, Better sales tactic! Have a good one PF. I will be blasting my very negative experience at the Odessa location. Been a member in Idaho and my experience there was an awesome one. !

I love this place! The staff is friendly but not all up in your space friendly. There is plenty of equipment for everyone and best of all its open 24/7. The shower curtains could use some washing but thats my only complaint.

Glad to have a good place to workout with my black card when we are in the Permian Basin. Have noted that I don’t always get my perks when I stop in which is the only reason it doesn’t go all the way to five stars.

Dont regularly go there. But its like best place i have been to. You get all your space to workout. Area is huge so you dont feel crowded even in pick hours. Can bring some more equipment but these ones are great too. Cleanliness can be given 5 numbers even in locker rooms.

Im not from here and wanted to get a workout in. Planet Fitness had the lowest priced 1 day pass so I decided to give it a try. Front staff was friendly and helped answer any questions I had. All equipment was in very good condition I would recommend this place to any one wanting to work out.

Front desk agent isnt clear with the terms with will have you out of pocket $200 for two people. Join your neighborhood recreation center or own your own equipment. 1/3 of televisions dont work, massage table is always down, massage chair broken, and 30 minute workout area needs monitoring.

Budget friendly wish they had more free weights, barbells for bench press, squats and a sauna.

This is my home gym and the first gym membership I have ever had. I am a black card member. This location is usually very clean. The staff always greets me upon entrance. They answer any questions I have and will even walk me to something if needed. They have the tanning, massage chairs, hydro massage, and total body enhancement. This whole gym is super spacious. Even during peak hours it doesn’t feel crowded or loud. I do with the designated stretching area had more mats. The 30 minute circuit and 12 minute ab areas also don’t feel crowded. I do with the monitored those areas more, because if I am doing a 30 minute workout, it means I’m on a time crunch. I don’t have time to waste waiting on people who don’t follow the rules. All the rules/classes/WiFi etc and very clearly marked. There are plenty of machines, but no stair stepper.

Just moved to Odessa and tried doing a free day pass. They said we had to pay $10 each for a day pass even though the planet fitness website offers a free day pass at this location. Money hungry! Will be going to another gym that lets us try it out before we sign up for a membership

Planet fitness tries to rip you with the automatic $42 renewal ! No refund you signed a contract !!Yes its a contract but where is the loyalty to the cusomer ? Take care of the customer ! We have more important things to do then remember a fitness contract, this is 100% profit planet fitness is making everytime this happensI contacted my bank and we will see if i get a refund

Nice place for this area. Surprisingly, roomier than the one in Midland in both the main gym area, and the dressing room. Loses a star for location.

Easiest gym to go to, 24/7 and in almost every city I go to. So no excuses to not work out lol

Might want to tweek that rule then, ALOT of us are from out of town and this town is just where we work.Luckily i was able to change my home gym from my phone and not have to drive Hours back home to do it in person like i was told the staff, the time i tried changing my bank account info.Original comment was, I went to this location and was denied entry due to this gym not being my home gym. I live in my truck and this is where i shower, Ive been out here for months at his point and had been at this location every day without fail. This particular morning the manbun attending was more concerned in going back to leering at the girls coming in than helping me fix the issue. Turns out theres a rule they have where you cannot go to a location, that isnt your home gym, more than 10xs during the month. I was not aware of this, and non of the staff had told me anything, all I had to do was change my home gym to this location and it would be fixed. Instead of helping me out and telling me that, the guy just said i couldnt come in and it was final, to take it up with my home gym.. which is in El Paso, 4hrs away.

Worst planet fitness ever.. I have been to several and this has to be the most cheaply thrown together mess Ive ever walked into.. I have loved every one Ive ever seen but this was terrible.. tanning beds didnt want to work would actually make you cold gym equipment was everywhere not in order thrown in place and is so much smaller than expected.. I really figured odessOwould have had an awesome planet fitness this was very upsetting being I moved here for the gym opportunities.. such a let down.

Its a ok planet staff real nice and polite. Some of the equipment could go for some repairs and tlc. Place is a bit dirty sometimes. but i guess thats probably to be expected considering were a bunch industry and construction workers. This is all being compared to other planets in the country which I visited few around this country. Overall a decent experience.

Tanning bulbs haven’t been changed in who knows how long! I’ve literally wasted a 50$ bottle of lotion plus my monthly membership bc for a week I couldn’t even use the beds in the supposed remodel that two weeks later looks as if nothing has been done.... GET NEW BULBS!

Ive had a membership here for a little over a year and here lately every time I come in the lady at the front desk rolls her eyes and sighs. She has a NASTY attitude! I thought planet fitness was a no judgment zone? I am canceling my membership and will never go to ANY planet fitness again. Its amazing that she is a manager. Way to set an example for your employees!

Stopped in on my lunch with safety glasses that the nose peace had come off. I was in a hurry being on break. And again i was waited on by Nitucha who was prompt and very helpful in my needs. Nitucha was very nice and quickly took care of things so I was able to get back to work before my break was up. Thanks again Nitucha for a job well done. Hope to see you my next visit.

Everyone is so nice, and helpful. When you sign up, they even give you a paper with the busiest times so those who dont like being in front of a bunch of people, can choose a better time! I love it here. The Hydromassage bed is amazing!
