Do not get policy here. Was told that I was paying 230$ to reinstate insurance only to find out a new associate charged me a balance to pay off an old policy and a late fee that supposedly can’t be given back. They lie and take your money!!!

The manager Flor Ramirez is the nastiest person. She’s incredibly rude and unprofessional and if you complain she will go off on you/ customers. While I was there trying to open an account the business was over 90 degrees inside and she had her employees working in those conditions while she sat out in her car in a/c. I’ve been there multiple times and have actually heard her talk trash about her very nice employees. Very bad customer service and representation of business.

Who in their right mind would cancel a policy they just paid $270 on; to cancel the same policy a couple hours later and let the company keep the payment? No one thats who, I was giving false information so I would be taken advantage of. This place employees scam artist and encourages taking advantage of customers. I made an adjustment to my policy to add on my vehicle. They told me it would be $270, so I paid. I should have checked with other companies before I made the payment because I cancelled the policy just a couple hours later. I asked them to void my payment or refund it, I was told by an A-Max employee that I needed to come in and sign papers to cancel my policy. I followed instructions to do so only to find out I signed authorizing papers for them to keep my money even tho no policy exists and I have no coverage. But they still get to keep my money because they said it was endorsement. Endorsement for what? I had no policy for them to apply the payment too or make adjustment on at the time of me signing. Do not insure here, worst mistake I have done.

FLOR IS THE ONE TO SEE THERE YALL! She knows what shes doing and she is so helpful. Even after hours. FLOR...YOURE AWESOME!

These ladies that work here are great I would have given them a five-star review if only they had newer and more modern chairs and the wallpaper but other than that the service was amazing all the ladies were nice and courteous and I would definitely go back I just think they need new chairs and new wallpaper

Amazing customer service! Management is excellent. Every time you go to the store they make you feel comfortable, but most importantly the manager, Flor is one if not the best manager I’ve met. She’s really nice and you can feel the love she has for her job. Which is impressing and motivating.

After experiencing HORRIBLE phone customer service from the 8th St. location, not once but twice. I was finally able to get my vehicle insured, even though I had to call a different store location due to poor customer service. I was greatly pleased with the AWESOME help from Alexis, I give you five stars!

This people seem to be very rude and disrespectful to customers. One of the agent called Sarah doesn’t have any element of tolerance in dealing with customers, She is rude and highly disrespectful. She lied to me severally on different occasions when I called in and she hung up the phone after I had requested my insurance card be emailed to me. She definitely does not deserve to be a customer service representative. She need to get another job where she don’t have to deal with people because her attitude is purely nasty!!! Less than one star for her!

They insured my 2008 dodge dual rear wheel truck for a year then decided that it was a comercial vehicle out of the blue and wouldn’t insure it. I find this ridiculous as I don’t even drive the truck to work. They didn’t even inform me until I went to pay the insurance. I would definitely not recommend them.

The women on 8th St are Assholes, Unprofessional and look like they just rolled out of bed and forced to go in. Just rude and not willing to help at all .. only reason they get one star is cause theres no other option. Thank goodness Amax has another location on 42nd, As soon as I walked in to the office on 42nd I was greeted and offered just what I was looking for. Susan was very nice and made up for the Garbage i put up with on 8th Street. DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GO TO OFFICE8TH STREET!!!! After reading the other reveiws I should have known better.

Staff is always so helpful and nice. Flor is the best and it feels so welcoming to walk in every month and be welcomed on a first name basis!

Customer service is bad

Its the worst insurance Ive ever had .. I had automatic payments and they suddenly canceled it after a year of being paid and it lasted without insurance for a month .. when I went to ask they told me that they had already spent 30 days and had to pay again the double to start again and not avia way to fix it ... this insurance is a theft I do not recommend it to anyone .. if they do this only with the polisa I do not even want to imagine what they would be in case of a claim, choke or a beleft

Very bad experience They made me lose $ 351 of a bond. A lot of insecurity in the workers of that place and it is very expensive.

They are very attentive to the client and do not take long to do all the paperwork.
