Called for a same day appointment. Allowed enough travel time. Taken immediately. Masks required. Socially distanced. Just enough trimmed off grandsons wavy hair for picture day as a high school freshman!!! It was so nice to catch up!! Hadnt seen Junior in ages as I seldom take my grandson in for a haircut anymore.

Been going to Bence since I moved to Wisconsin 16 years ago. Reminds me of my neighborhood shop back home. Great people, great cut (for what they have to work with) and good price. You know a great barber by the number of people there who just come just to drink bad coffee and have good conversation!

Wow... I remember as a kid my dad telling me never get your haircut by someone that doesnt have a barber pole. 37 years later I see why. I have never had someone take the time to straight razor the area by my ears. He knew what he was doing. There were 5 old guys sitting around shooting the breeze. Sports town gossip. It was an experience. I will never go anywhere else. And I usually pay for everything with a CC. But he only takes cash he told me not to worry about it and just come back whenever... Who does that!!!

Awesome place to go for men and boys. One of the few traditional barbers left. He has great prices and treats his customers like family!

Nice people, very cool place, but not impressed at all with the work, considering its an old school barber. Shouldnt have let them trim my beard either. Very bad, I couldve done a better job. Nope, had to go to cost cutters to get the hair fixed. Very sad considering I went here to avoid cost cutters in the first place, for fear of getting a bad hair cut. My mistake, wont be coming back.

Great old timey barber shop. Ask for Junior. The one thing I dont care for is that they take appointments so you might be the only one in the shop but the barber has an appointment coming in 2 mins so you have to wait.

RUDE. I walked in to get a buzz cut, 2 barbers inside 1 busy with a customer, the other sitting in the other barber chair. I thought the 2nd barber was a waiting customer because he made no comment when i walked in, so i waited. 10 minutes go by and another customer walks in the door. so the 2nd barber gets up and starts on the new customer, completely bypassing me.needless to say i walked out and will never go there againwent to COST CUTTERS, cheaper, friendly and timely service, and they washed my head for freeand I got a military discount,military = frequent haircuts = $$ =COST CUTTERS gets my repeat business
