I have been bringing my sons for the past two years and have been pleased with their service. Recently, I took my teenage sons to get a haircut and some of the staff appears to be new. They were rude and condescending. Although it says they open at 9am on weekdays and close at 7pm, I noticed it was closed at 9:30am, so I returned in the afternoon. One of my sons was getting a haircut and I stepped out to my car to get something. When I returned with my other son, one of the girls said they were closed even though it was 6:28pm and their website said they closed at 7pm. I explained I had stepped out and one girl rudely said, “Well next time wait inside the store if you want a haircut.” As I walked out she said, “Bit**”. I was so disappointed by the lack of professionalism and customer service. I have decided not to support this business anymore. I will take my sons elsewhere.

Don’t let this Asian lady cut yo hair. I understand they cut a lot of marines hairs but I didn’t ask for all that bruh.

The barber was very friendly. Nice person. Everything seemed to go well until she had me look at the haircut. I could visibly see 3rd grader lines.. when I pointed them out she said I had a dent in my head. So she blamed visible lines on my neck to a dent on my head I have never seen. She tried to fix it but just basically shaved it all off leaving it a little spotty. I am so bummed. This place said it had a 5 star rating with over 200 reviews.. did I just get the lemon, or is the quality standard so low here? I will not be going beck.. I will be using gentlemen s den like I should of. They were just backed up 3 days. I will wait next time.

As a tall man, having my haircut by short females gets very uncomfortable when having to slouch for them. Gino is a tall barber that also is very good with hair and beards. Hes got a fan for life 🍻👍

This barbershop has quality barbers. Unfortunately today my son got a haircut with a young lady that apparently was new. She started the haircut and kept asking his partner next to her for advice.He even took over for her for a bit. She didn’t cut the hair how she was told, she took at least an hour to finish the haircut and on top of that she charged a ridiculous amount of $25.I totally understand the fact she was new, but pleaseeee let the customer know that the person cutting your hair is new, and if military haircuts is all you do let the customer know that too. Waist of time and money.I will not go back and will not recommend anyone to go there.

Asked for a medium fade with half inch of the top snd the blonde lady gave me a high and tight with almost no hair left on top. Maybe if she would stop gossiping and carrying on with the barber next to her she could cut hair better.

This has been our family’s go to spot for 4yrs until one day they doubled the prices.....I can get my 40$ haircut at Roosters with massage and shampoo same price.

I walked in and asked to keep my same hairstyle with a bit of a clean-up. I walked out with almost no hair left. I asked for maybe a slight fade and the entire back of my head was completely bald. I paid her and pretended it was ok, but I wont go back.

I had a pleasant visit. I came in around 4:30pm on a Tuesday and was sat right away. Haircut came out great. They did raise the prices a little bit it seems like - a haircut that cost me $15 now cost $20 as of 6/30/20. Something to keep in mind.

Mixed feelings as the years go by. Lots of unprofessional cross talk between barbers while they cut hair. Ive had to remind them on more than one occasion to cut some off the top. They get so wrapped up in their own conversations that the hair cut is no longer the priority. Wish the owner would crack the whip and get this fixed. This place rocked and now Im on the verge of going somewhere else. As it stands my two sons (which have come for their entire lives) are already going elsewhere. Come on, guys! Lets prioritize please.

My family and I were in San Diego on vacation and my brother and father wanted to get a haircut. We decided to choose this place because it was closest to our hotel. The service was wonderful and quick. They received their haircuts from Mona, how she introduced herself. My brother is usually super picky with how his hair looks but he was super happy with how it looked and he was satisfied with the service Mona provided him with. My father was also very pleased with how quick the service was. We would definitely go here again!!

Ive been coming here every week, except when out of state or country, for about 6 years now and I am never disappointed. Staff are entertaining, family friendly, and timely. Even if the seats are completely filled i can still get in a chair within 15 minutes. Ive had my hair cut by every barber in there, and have always walked away knowing I look exactly how I want to. Theyre quick, but dont cut any corners. Get a medium fade straight razor everytime and takes about 10-15 minutes. I look forward to coming here every Saturday or Sunday because I enjoy seeing everyone and getting cleaned up. I also like that they dont force conversations on you, theyll talk and joke amongst themselves but are still focused on your cut. If you want to chat with them theyll get engaged, but they dont make it feel forced. This feels like rambling and talking in circles, but only because I cannot say enough good things about this shop, perfect in every way and I recommend to anyone looking for the best in town.

My new favorite barbershop! Basically any barber here can give you a GREAT haircut. They do style cuts, comb overs, pomps, fades etc.. Everyone usually sits with Mike since he is the best there so if you can sit with him id highly recommend it. They do walk ins only which is a huge plus for me. No hassle/wait of barbers only taking appointments. Cuts start at $15 which is pretty good for a style cut barber shop

The other day I went in and received an amazing hair cut from Dave. he took the time to really blend in the fade he gave me and it shows with how excellent of a job he did. Definitely would recommend this place to my friends

Fast service and good atmosphere. So far I have had 3 different barbers gave me a version of a low fade / tapered fade / mid fade ...out of the 3, 2 of the barbers were spot on as to what I needed thanks. The third barber gave me a high fade but at that point you cant fix it so I just went with it....1 1/2 weeks later it was corrected by one of the 3 barbers onsite....2021 updateVery well maintained even with covid protocols ...Ive had like 3 other barbers now...this place is legit👍👌💯all barbers knows there craft....

Decided to go on a roadtrip with my brother for the summer and we passed by this really cool barbershop and said why not! The first thing I noticed was the amazing atmosphere in the shop and this Asian lady who cut my brothers hair did such a clean job; I believe her name was Mona? Cool place with amazing prices; would definitely recommend checking this place out if you have the chance.

I’ve been here quite a bit so have a lot of experience with this place; before and after the move. Between this location and their location in Vista, my children and I have experienced a lot of good haircuts but it least three absolute hack jobs. The type where you have to go to another barber in hopes of not shaving your head.I’ve also been in the chair where I have to listen to the story of being a recovering addict (et al). Which is fine if you give me a good haircut. But there’s a reason why I pick and choose.I’m also the type with a lot on my plate. So when I land in the chair for a haircut, I don’t have much time to waste. When I walk in and I designate who I want to cut my hair, there’s a good reason.If you wanna make a rule where you cannot wait for specific barber, you need to ensure that the barbers you have on staff are trustworthy enough to represent your business with quality. You are not there yet. After years of giving you second chances, I suppose I can finally discount you as a quality barber option.

Amazing barbershop! I came to San Diego for a week vacation and decided that I needed a haircut. I didnt know any good barbershops since it was my first time to San Diego. After looking for a close barbershop, I finally came across this one. I walked in and there was an Asian Lady who was ready to cut my hair. I told her what I wanted and she gave me one of the best cuts I ever had. If I go back to San Diego, I would definitely come back to this place.

I never really styled my hair before I always just shaved it until my friends told me I should change it. When the asian lady asked me what I wanted I said I have no idea just make look good. I was a little nervous but Ive been getting compliments all day. I think I found my new favorite hair style and new favorite barber.

Been going here for years. Great group of barbers, good prices. Can get very busy on Sunday afternoons with all the Marines and Navy getting their fresh haircuts for the week, but they add barbers to manage the peak time and use numbers gen as well. I will continue to get my haircut here for many more years.

I go here every week, I have never been a day that Im unsatisfied at the end. There is a woman who has long fingernails that poke at the scalp a bit, wish she would trim or not poke at my head when she cuts my hair though. Other then that I never have problems with my haircuts. The worst experience I had got solved because I needed my hair cut a bit shorter, she solved that problem in a heart beat. Good barbers.

Cash only. Atm on site. Usually pretty fast to get a chair since there are 5+ barbers ready to go. Usually have TV land going for some reason but its all good. Ive received about 10 cuts from all different barbers there and never had a problem. Mix between marine and civilian clientele. Pretty much my go to. Guy with the large beard is awesome BTW.

The barbers are really good, theyre also very approachable and down to earth. Once you go there for a while the barbers start talking to you like youre one of them. So to me at least that is a good relationship to have.

I had a few great experiences here in the past, but recently I received the worst haircut of my life. The guy talked the whole time so Im assuming he wasnt paying attention because he didnt do the fade, sideburns, or neckline right. Also, he cut me with the straight razor. I always leave generous tips and explicitly said that I have an important meeting, but evidently that didnt matter. Never again. Invest in a HIGH QUALITY cut gents.

This is a Great barber shop! I came here while in Cali for Work on a early morning without an appointment on a Monday and was lucky to get a cut from Mona. she did a great job, was super nice, and took a lot of time and care with my hair. Its always such a hassle to go to a new barbershop because you dont know what youre going to get. And I couldnt have been happier with mona and the haircut that she gave me. I live in Aliso Viejo, work in Huntington Beach and drive to O side for a proper hair cut. Cant find anyone to cut my hair as well as Chris does. Busy place, sometimes a little wait, but busy cause they are good. Chris gets the details. A cut above the rest in my book.

Decent place. They do a good job, but not the most friendly of atmospheres. Chairs in the waiting area are not the most comfortable, but you usually arent waiting log. One annoyance is that they lack a numbering system. Far too many barbers - and by extension, patrons - here to not have one. Often, the patrons are left wondering who is up next. When a barber says, next, and the patrons all just kind of look at each other trying to figure it out, the barbers seem to get annoyed. There is a rather simple and inexpensive solution, but they have chosen to not go that route.

The worst haircut I’ve seen. Unfortunately I’m in NY running my barbershop so I couldn’t cut my son’s hair before team pictures. From one barbershop owner to another, train your team, have them watch YouTube videos or take a class. It’s your responsibility to make sure your team is ready to cut paying customers. I look at that haircut and feel so disrespected. I will be posting pictures of my sons haircut at this place.

Great place to get a cut and they are awesome with my 1 1/2 years old son. we get a cut every two weeks and Not once have we had a bad experience.

This guy Mikey was an outstanding barber, went in thinking the only other barber was busy but Mikey was just chillin outside and greeted me asking if I need I cut, I said Yeah so I sat down and this guy went to gave my hair the Royal treatment! This dude got down with the hot towels and razor blade for details! My haircut isnt a complicated one but one that still requires finesse which this guy had in spades. Before you start to wonder, homie charged me $16 bucks..Of course I tipped. Highly recommend this place and Mikey in particular.
