They had prices posted clearly for services so I knew before even giving them my car. They were fast and thorough and not pushy with the extras. Best part is they are right across the street from work!

These guys got down to business right away with my truck. I own a business that relies on it to keep moving so when my radiator cracked, I had to get it fixed and back on the road ASAP. They were able to source the parts even though I drive an old truck and have the repairs done in a few hrs so I could get back to fixing garages again! Excellent. Since I have a 15 year old car, I called in first to see if there was a battery available. This saved a potential 3 day wait. I was given a specific quote and was billed for that amount. And, no surprise “problems”. I made an appt and within 15 minutes, the car was being worked on. I was in and out within 30 minutes. I highly recommend them.

From the front desk to under the vehicle every person I encountered was awesome. Great work for an affordable price. Not to mention they are honest. I would recommend and will be coming back.

Aaron and Joe are the best. They listen and answer my questions in terms I can understand. I haven’t always found this to be the case at other auto repair establishments. They have reasonable prices and don’t suggest unnecessary expensive repairs. Sure, if a repair is necessary they make sure I understand the urgency, but I don’t ever feel coerced into spending a lot of money unnecessarily.

Very disappointing experience. Took my car in for oil leak, and they kept it for a week. They charged me over $1700, and the car died an hour later. It took them 3hrs to finally send a tow truck. They kept the car for 3 weeks and replaced the engine. The day my wife and I picked up the car, and she drove it across the street to go shopping. The car died again. They gave me some excuse, but had our car ready 3 days later. Our Mercedes C280 drove like a truck, so we took it to a German Auto repair shop. They had our car back to us the following day, running like a Mercedes again. They told me MEINEKE replaced our engine but left the old plugs, did not change fluids, did not change ripped spark plug wire and damaged motor mounts. By the way, I still have an oil leak, and Ive now spent $3800 dollars in repairs. Stay away from this shop please.

With a short notice we came in with three bent rims one broken rim and three totally failed tires they fixed this up with a new set of rims and a new set of tires and a reasonable price very satisfied with them.

This shop has been great, outside of sometimes having a tight schedule they always get me in on time and if you have a low car they got you covered! The alignment rack is flush with the ground so it’s perfect, this is the only shop my car can go to and they do a great job taking care of it.(Side note) the best part about this shop is the fact that they will communicate with you through the actual shop, most shops the techs hate when you ask questions or make requests but they are very friendly, I usually do most of my work to my car but when I need specific requests done they always hook it up

I never give good reviews. I feel like people should generally know if a place is bad more than if a place is good. Ya know? But my lord from the female reviews I’ve seen for this place I think it’s time to give a more realistic review. I absolutely love this place. I come from oregon so I’m used to the cheaper prices. That said for someone to complain about the prices here is absurd. Specially if they have no idea what it takes to work on a car. If you split up the cost to a repair by cost of part and cost of labor you’d find that this place will give you the best bang for your buck. I never have to come back for the same repair twice. They get it right the first time. I trust these people with both my old 1999 vehicle and my new vehicle. They just know what they are doing. Yes they get busy and that’s fine, means they gotta be good right? If you have patience and common sense I’m sure you’ll be more than happy with their service.

$69 oil change is $100. Said my filter was special but it is $4 on line. Said engine big and it took lots of oil... its a 4 cylinder and takes 6 quarts.Was $100 with coupon, so $106. Would be interested in seeing how you justify the price increase from advertised.

I had a great experience with Meineke Car Care .They took me right in. Explained the work to be done. They gave me an estimate and had me on my way with great AC after only an hour .The owner Joe Drury really was helpful and answered all of my questions .Awesome job!

Had my check engine light come on in November. Been to 3 different meineke locations and they all told me the thermostat needed to be replaced. They charged $100 JUST TO CHECK if that was the issue. They “fixed” the problem 4 times now and the Engine light is still coming on. Don’t bother wasting your money with this company. I’ll be going to the dealership instead, at least they know what they are doing.

Great experience. I had not utilized this specific location before but everything was explained up front and was easy to understand. Dylan explained what would be done to inspect the vehicle for specific issues and did not attempt to sell me additional products or services like many other shops will. It was a pain-free experience and I would recommend this location to anybody in San Diego County

I’m currently receiving cancer treatments, unable to work and was completely discouraged when I saw oil leaking from my car that I had bought used not 4 months earlier. Along with a pulsating sensation when I braked, I thought for sure I had bought a lemon, and my already difficult month was going to go from bad to worse. As I’m dropping my car off at Mienake, I’m trying to work out which credit cards have a balance that I could patch work into covering some major work. That’s when Duane (I think was his name), helped me out. He explained they could perform a brake inspection and take a look at the oil leak for $45.. I agreed, called my wife to come pick me up and sat down outside. Not 5 minutes later he said that the oil plug thing was not secured during the previous oil change, and that they had tightened it right up for me. He explained that the pulsating sensation when I braked was most likely caused by the rear brakes, they did a test drive, confirmed the issue, put on new rear brakes and topped off my oil, and I was out the door for less than $500, in between my morning IV appointment and afternoon radiation. My car runs just as it should, and it’s one less thing I have to deal with. Thank You Mienake

Appointment online with easy to navigate website, friendly greeting, prompt service at agreed upon price. Oil & filter change as normal, noted my air filter was extremely dirty,replaced for about $20 less than the local Ford dealer price.

I originally brought my car in for a donut gasket repair. The car was beginning to become sluggish so I figured this would fix the problem. Aaron was very courteous, professional and informative. However, I was then told the car was still sluggish after the repair. Upon recieving my car back the car has starting problems and is way more sluggish then when I first brought it in. I barely made it onto the freeway.

I went in for a conventional oil change for my 2015 Fiat 500 Pop with their $19.95 coupon. After looking at the computer, the worker tried to convince me that I needed synthetic (which is VERY expensive). I told him I didnt and we went back and forth with that twice. Then he said, oh, you dont have Turbo? (he never asked). NO. HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TURBO? So then he went through and priced my service which came up to $16.89. He said, oh wait - he then erased all the stuff he had input and changed it. He then told me the oil change would be $49. He said he didnt have the type oil my car needed so he needed to use some kind of combo oil. Seriously? My car takes 5W30. Everyone has 5W30. Felt like he just tried to rip me off because I was a woman. DONT GO HERE!! THEY DONT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. Attached is a photo from the dealership from where I bought the car and what it says about what oil to use...AND ONLY USE!RESPONSE: In response to your response - the manufacturer and Fiat dealerships say to ONLY use 5W-30 for BEST performance. Im not sure why you think you would know better or should do something differently other than to make more money on a higher cost service - and that is actually a different answer than whan your computer recommended while I was in there. I was looking forward to your service, but I will never be back and definitely wouldnt recommend you given your apparent lack of knowledge.

This place really helped me out and I would recommend them to anyone. I was preparing to move from California to Colorado and wanted to be sure my car was safe and wouldnt have any issues. Rick checked everything and tuned up my car and I couldn’t be happier! I couldn’t afford to break down on my way in the desert with my pet cat and all of my stuff with me and rick made sure that didn’t happen! I successfully made it and my car had zero issues! It’s older too(2004) so I’m grateful I came to this shop. Thanks guys.

I was disappointed. When I scheduled my appointment it was for the oil change package that includes tire rotation and filter. When I arrived at minekee they told me they cant do the tire rotation and they charged me for the oil filter. So instead of paying$69 I was charged $89.

I have gone to several places and been screwed over so many times that I was skeptical of going anywhere else. And I’m glad I did. This location is clean and modern. The mechanics seem knowledgeable and well prepared. Its easily accessible and has ample parking available. Thats the extent of my positive outlook.Its frustrating to do business with establishments who look to capitalize on unfortunate situations. Having had a bad day before arriving, I naively mentioned that my brakes were incredibly worn down and needed immediate attention. My contention was that I was told the replacement rotors cost 250% above the normal retail price, which far exceeds the typical mark-up on parts. When I asked for clarification on the excessive cost, I was told it was standard for the area, knowing that I needed the repairs immediately. I showed the office manager the normal price from a parts store down the road and was told that manufacturer warranty would not apply if I purchased elsewhere, pretty typical assertions to justify the incredibly steep price. I ultimately gave up as other life matters were priority in that moment, but I refuse to return to a business that assumes a 250% mark-up is normal.

I went for a synthetic oil change. I had a coupon for $49.95. My final bill was $65. A little bit of bait and switch there, but I got a good price. The explanation of the extra charge was, the oil filter and oil disposal fee was not included in the advertised price.I asked how much for a tire rotation. He said $20. I paid $10 a year before at another Meineke with a coupon. I said no.I also had a coupon for a free brake inspection. The manager said my front brakes had 20% left and the back, 30%. He quoted me $189.95 for the front and $189.95 for the back for brake pad service. I said no.My neighbor, who is a service manager at a local dealership said he and his brother in law will work on my brakes, and while the tires were off, they could also rotate my tires. I bought the brake pads. But, they told me my brakes are only 25% worn, comparing it to the new pads. Since I only had the car for a year, I probably will not need new brake pads for at least two years! Still, it is advisable to have the brakes checked a couple of times before that.They also said that since Meineke had all my tires off to check my brakes, they should have rotated the tires by simply putting the tires on a different wheel. His shop gives free tire rotation to check brakes.While I was at the small waiting room, I couldnt help but overhear the conversation between the manager and the driver of a Lexus. The Lexus owner said he spent $1,000 for air conditioner service at this Meineke and there is cold air coming out on the drivers side, but hot air on the passenger side.The Meineke manager told him some technical explanation and wanted $100 for diagnostic. That $100 will be applied to whatever work is needed. I told my neighbor the story, and he said since the customer already spent $1,000, he should be given a free diagnostic.I agree. While I got a pretty good deal for my oil change, I think this Meinekes priority is making money, sometimes through questionable means, not customer service.

I am a single white female. I went in for an oil change. I left with a list of services they insisted needed be done. I had my vehicle suggested service done elsewhere, to find out the work did not need to be done. Beware!!!

I wrote a yelp on their excellent store, but Ill be happy to give them more kudos! These guys, (wish they did have at least one girl) are great! I needed some maintenance type service and the were packed. I went to Sizzler (also good) across the street. They still hadnt finished, so my niece dropped by (shopping), and said I should just come over since she lives close by. When it was ready my Lyft, nor Uber app was working and my niece had just left to go show a house. Bummer! When I called to find out how late they were open and explained my problem, they came and picked me up! Dont get discourage if you dont make an appoint and they are busy (they always are) because they be straight with you. Honestly, service, responsibility, respect, and help! Who thought that could happen in 2020!

Came in yesterday for an oil change, this gentleman came and assisted me, great dude, Aaron, I think his name was.Told him I had a coupon and proceeded to help me, less than hour later my car was out.The guy that worked on my vehicle was the complete opposite, caucasian dude, he finished putting the oil and new oil filter, he then started checking break fluids and other things, he then parked my vehicle upfront, work was done.I then paid my bill, when I tried leaving the premise I noticed hed forgotten to reset the warning maintenance light. No biggie I just did it myself.Turned the key and noticed this subtle noice when I tried accelerating. Kept on driving the car, for a couple of miles and still, the same loose noice coming out of the engine compartment.I parked on the side of the freeway, opened the hood and noticed the air filter compartment was not secured, service guy previously checked the air filter but failed to secured said filter back in its right spot.These are simple things to check on your customers only way of transportation before they leave your shop.Couldnt believe this guys negligence.

Meineke Car Care Center saved my truck from being scrapped and saved me thousands of dollars in repairs. I was told by another mechanic that my truck needed over $5000 in repairs including new sensors just to get operational. I brought it to Meineke for a second opinion and it turned out the truck only needed a new fuel pump and to have the fuel injectors cleaned. The guys at Meineke took a personal interest in my situation and my vehicle and got me back on the road for a fraction of what I was originally quoted by another company. I am truly thankful to the Guys at Meineke!

Went here for an oil change. Took them 2 minutes to respond to me even though no cars or customers are being serviced at the time. That part didnt bother me. This did: Brought a coupon for an oil change for $19.95 that I printed and the guy at the counter says its only good for cars older than a 2000 model. And it doesnt say ANYTHING in the fine print about that on the coupon! Horrible, misleading and deceptive advertisement and service. How many cars nowadays are older than a 2000?! 10% or less? Not really a surprise theyre not doing much business here. Walked out and wont be coming back here again.

Ive brought various cars here for years for good deals on regular maintenance things like oil changes. I normally do that myself, but they have been fast, convenient, and inexpensive enough for me to save the time and oil recycling hassles and just bring my cars in. This place says Meineke on the building but its a family owned place and in my experience it feels that way. They will recommend other services, but to me it seems only when theyre actually needed, and they dont argue if youd prefer to do them yourself. More recently I had them completely re-do the brakes on an 80s Honda of mine; they did it on almost no notice, completed the work quickly, and charged fairly. Overall a capable shop with friendly employees, which has had me coming back when needed for more than 5 years. Thanks guys!
