Polish jobs were nice but service was terrible.

I had my nails done here for the past 7 months, when I called to make an appointment with the girl I usually see they said okay and had me come in. When I showed up they said she wasnt in and the she was away visiting family. I thought this was weird so I gave another nail tech a chance and they did okay. They couldnt do any nail design I asked for. Plus there were many lumps and rough grit. Looks good from afar. When I called back the next 3 weeks to make another appointment they said my girl wasnt there and hadnt been there..... so I am disappointed

I called to find out how much for pedicure & I was told we closed i said I was asking for a price for pedicure and lady just says no we closed...well I was like ten minutes away so stopped to see if prices were posted like some places have and they were open and didnt close for 35 more mins..shame on this business,,LAZY EMPLOYEES COSTING THIS BUSINESS VALUABLE MONEY IN TIMES LIKE THIS...

They don’t change nail files and buffers, they don’t wear masks. But besides all that they are a great nail salon they’re funny and do a great job

Pedicures are perfect. The owner is fun and friendly and they try to create a family atmosphere. Very pleased with the services and got in and out.

Extremely rude to customers. Unorganized! Arguing with customers and over booked. I have never seen such disrespect in my life. I will never go back again. Customers had appointments and they did not honor those appointments. They skipped over some customers who had been waiting for at least one hour. I had an appointment at 12:30. I was told my name wasn’t in the book. After waiting for 2 hours, I got my brows, nails and toes done. I didn’t leave until 4 pm. They did a good job at a good price but they need to work on their attitudes and how they communicate with customers

L got a full set he didnt do the right shape and then when he was fixing it he cut me and proceeded to file right over the cut other than that it was ok for only 35$

I showed the nail tech a picture and asked him if he could do it. He said he could, what I showed him but he couldnt. So he got nasty with me because he couldnt do what he said he was going to do. For the more, he couldnt even file my nails into coffin shape. They

My friend called them for a 1 oclock appointment for both of us. She got there first and was in the manicure seat when I came in. I was greeted by the manager, then told that the people in the next room would help me out. I was there for 45 minutes before I was even acknowledged. When I finally made my presence known they still ignored me. By that time my friend and I were walking out. She paid what she owed them and asked to speak to the manager. We were told that she was unavailable and that she could not talk to us. I asked them why they didnt acknowledge me but the best the employee could give me was that they were busy. However, just 2 minutes before that, they successfully greeted and started to work on another person. After we left my friend called the manager and was not pleased by the outcome of the conversation. We will not be returning.

New to Ocala area, just moved here from New Jersey. Found star nails on google and loved the pictures I saw so I went in. I am very picky and have long nails. They sat me down immediately and didn’t mind taking the time to do a full set with removing my old nails. I started with Linda who is a super nice lady and ended up finishing with Tracey who I am so impressed with. Great environment and everyone is very friendly. They both did an awesome job and I absolutely love what Tracey did. I will be returning for sure and recommend anyone new to the area or in need of a great salon to come here.

I just started going there . Lilly was the one that took care of me . Shes great . Friendly . I went in for a manicure with gel . She did my nails so well that it lasted me for 4 weeks . My hands are always in water . I went in last week. Lilly was out sick . So another lady did them . Its only been 1 week and my index finger nail already chipped!!! So upset !! By the way daughter not to friendly . She needs to be nicer to customers. Will I be back ? I dont think so.....

Definitely want to find a place with better (friendlier) customer service.... they don’t appreciate their customers...stay away....

Love my nails by Tracy. Fast courteous and pleasant. Highly recommend them. Clean establishment. My second visit an will be my go to place from now on.

Great service

Got my first full set from them last week. Mike did them and was not only entertaining and friendly but thorough. They still look great and I will definitely be going back. $40 for a full set with 2 rhinestones and lots of glittery gel over my acrylic. I will gladly pay that to have quality nails.

I took my husband and daughter to get manicures and pedicures. My husband had an amazing pedicure. My daughters nails look great! The guy doing my nails cut me 2x by accident and didnt do a great job. Very rushed.

This was our very first and last time coming here. Extremely Poor Customer Service and Management.If you don’t want to risk your freedom over $3, please stay away from this place.

I have never gotten such terrible service! I have gotten my nails done a lot in the past, and never this unhappy. Three of us went in, showed pictures of what we wanted and once the acrylics were one, they informed us they couldnt do what we wanted. We each paid $30 a piece. Will NEVER go back here, EVER.

Took my fiancé here because she had an emergency and needed to get her nails soaked off. They close at 6pm on a Sunday, we got there around 5:43 and they wouldn’t serve her because the services that she needed done would’ve went a little pass 6pm. My fiancé came out highly disappointed, I went in to get a better understanding of why they wouldn’t serve her. The mere fact that she made it before closing time, no matter what she needed done, they should’ve served her. A young lady in there got EXTREMELY rude with me even when I initially never gave off the wrong energy. I was cool, calm, and collected. She raised her voice, cut me off mid-sentences, and if you ask me she was trying to “show out” in front of a customer that she was already serving. I didn’t appreciate it. Every one knows that when it comes to running any business establishment, the customer is always right! and I’m under the impression that when it comes to ANY business establishment, IF you make it before the doors lock, they are to serve you EVEN if they have to lock you in to keep other people out after closing time. If they didn’t want to serve anyone due to the close time of closing, and they were tired and eager to leave, then they should’ve locked their doors! Then she had the nerve to tell me that their policy is that they don’t serve people 10 minutes before closing time. I’m no rocket scientist but I’m pretty sure that we got there WAY before that 10 minute mark! THIS PLACE, SERVICE, AND STAFF IS HORRIBLE! -Adrian Clark

I went for a pedicure and the person got polish all over my cuticles and skin. I tried to tell her to fix it but she kept wiping a small amount of paint off and still leaving it looking really bad. I was going to leave and not say anything but I decided to come back to have it fixed as it looked so bad. They fixed it but today it looks awful and I still have skin that was not removed and polish that looks so bad on my nails and on my cuticles.

I rarely ever give a bad review . This is needed though . My usual salon was closed & I was way past due. So I unfortunately ended up here . HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE .THE OLDER GENTLEMAN WAS SO ROUGH& CARELESS .I TOLD HIM HE WAS HURTING ME .HE STILL CONTINUED. Then i went to pay with my card & she kept telling me my card wasnt working. So I had to go find an atm to withdraw the money. She tried charging me an extra 3 $ for a trim i said I refuse to pay for something he did NOT do . My nails are so bad . I guarantee ill have to go get them filled again by the end of the week. There is a blank space between the color and my cuticle. Exactly what jt looks like when its time to get them filled. Spend your money somewhere else ! Ill never go back .

I just went two days ago to get a manicure and a pedicure and my polish is already chipping off so Im going back and Im going to have them redo them all over again for free

If I could leave 0 I would. Let the man do my nails white tips theres a black speck under my nails and he said it was my nail. Horrible job acrylic showing over the nail. Just sad. I paid because thats how I am I regret it!

I got eyelash extensions done here and the very next day they started falling out. It was done very uneven and hurt to blink. Not worth it.

They over charge. When they mess up your nails they recharge you. They also charge $10 for gel top coat when you can get it for $5 anywhere else. They also use cheap product so your nails fall apart. The best place Ive been is nail on on 27 next to golds gym. They do a great job and do anything to keep you happy. Theres a reason why I stopped going here years ago. I see nothings changed. Save your money because youll just have to pay more to get them fixed. Worse nail shop ever. I also got my finger sliced open with the drill lol you think they would give me a refund after that especially when that was the second time he did them.

Got my eyebrows tattoo and she didnt do a good job, eyebrows look totally different from one another, am not please at all!

Went to get fill and pedicure worst experience ever no one in there knows how to paint nails I ended up coming home and repainting them myself and the woman who did my Moms gels just sucked to. We will never be going back. Dont waste ur time or money here.

DO NOT GET LASH EXTENSIONS : i got mine done and idk what glue they used but it’s stuck to my lashes, i’ve tried taking them off with coconut oil (like they told me) and they’re coming off with my actual eyelashes ! i called and asked for a refund and got an attitude instead . and they’re words were “ we can’t give you a refund because the lashes aren’t guaranteed to stay “ so since they don’t tell you that, as a customer i am tell you not to waste your money .

My nails look awful. None of them are the same size. The sides of every nail have spots that werent even painted. Almost every nail has a side that is way thicker, plus it looked like I needed a fill before I even walked out of the place. And I thought I was getting a full set for $20 as advertised, which is what was stated when the appointment was set up, but it wasnt until after the guy was almost finished that he said he only does gel which is an extra $15! Not at all what I wanted. Not happy. Will never go back.
