The audiologists at Professional Speech and Hearing are the best ever. If I ever have a problem with my hearing aids, I am seen quickly to get the issue resolved. We go to have check ups every four months, as long as our hearing aids are under warranty, we are not charged for the tweaks and adjustments. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have been a patient here for a couple of years now. I am always treated with respect and consideration. They are professional as well as personable. I have always been able to set an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. Once signed in, I havent had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. They are very clean and sanitize everything before/after using shared testing equipment. Recently, I was having issues with something, and they were kind enough to fit me in that same day! My Audiologist; Danielle Rosser, always takes the time to throughly evaluate my Hearing exam every year. She always takes time for my questions and concerns. I am 55 years old and have diminished hearing. For years I have struggled to hear in group environments, rooms with poor acoustics, and even around the dinner table with my family. My hearing loss was effecting me in ways that I wasnt aware of. After my recent hearing evaluation with Ms. Pat, she informed me a new technology had arrived and she described it as a technology she had only dreamed about for her entire career. She fit me with a pair of Oticon hearing aids and my life instantly changed! Sitting in her office I could actually hear my wife speaking in hushed tones! I didnt have to fake it (lol)! We all were amazed! We went outside and it seemed a new world to me. The Oticons bring out speech while limiting other noises. They Bluetooth to my phone and are highly programmable. A separate unit for your TV can be purchased, which allows Bluetooth to the TV. Amazing! I can honestly say that I cant wait to put my hearing aids in each morning. Very thorough exam to check for hearing issues and loss. Extremely pleasant staff. Very efficient where you don’t wait long. What is really great is the Doctor thoroughly explains the tests and results with you. She then goes over what you can do to protect your hearing or to help with existing conditions. I knew I had to address my hearing loss but wanted to do it right. My first appointment with Danielle went very well. She asked lots of questions and administered several hearing tests. I felt very comfortable with her. Unfortunately, the result of those hearing tests meant a trip to see a ENT and one was recommended.Following that appointment and the subsequent head CT, no issues were found that would require other treatment. I returned to Professional Speech and Hearing Specialists to be fitted with hearing aids and tried out two styles that would be best for me. After deciding which one I felt the most comfortable with and gave me the best results, the aids were ordered and a week later I returned to begin the adapting process.The transition to wearing hearing aids has been almost effortless and I credit Danielle with making this so easy. She is very patient, provides plenty of information and has been available to help with minor issues. The staff there is great.I have now worn the aids for nearly three months, I cannot believe how “deaf” I was. My wife has Sudden Hearing Loss in her left ear since 2002 and after all the tests no one has ever said that they could help her left ear hearing except Professional Speech & Hearing.She now has a transmitter in her left ear that sends sound to the hearing aid in the right ear At least now she knows when there is noise behind her or on the left side of her.The TV and her phone now also comes across her hearing aid which is a big help also. Dr Danielle Rosier was excellent in diagnosing my hearing loss and properly adjusting my existing aids. I have had my current HIGH PRICED aids for over a year and the small box Hearing Aid sites. I met a retired audiologist and in discussions about my hearing losses due to my past work environment and age ( I am 74 ), he pointed out that it was very important to get a thorough evaluation of my specific needs rather than just hearing aids that produced higher volumes. He strongly recommended Dr. Rosier at PSHS. During my first appointment, Dr. Rosier clearly and in language that I could follow, explained the tests to be run, what she would achieve from those tests and included my wife in some of the tests as obviously it is her voice that I will be responding to most.All that data was then used to construct hearing aids that allowed me to hear those frequencies that I had lost. I have had the hearing aids for eight months and THEY ARE GREAT. I should have done this years ago. I now hear voices clearly (it no longer sounds like everyone is mumbling), I dont have the car radio and the TV so loud that it hurts my wifes ears, and I no longer am constantly asking someone to Please repeat that. Dr. Rosier also built into the hearing aids a Loop for use in church, concerts and stage performances.This has really been A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE.

I have had a wonderful, successful experience at Professional Speech & Hearing. Dr Mccallum is a caring, patient, and very knowledgeable doctor who guided and helped me enter the world of hearing again.She takes her time with her patients. The only criticism I have is that for most appointments I have had to wait 20-30 minutes. If you are a person who needs to be on time, this may bother you. I have been seen at Professional S & P Specialists for more than 10 years.I am totally satisfied with the quality of my hearing exams and my hearing aids. Tabitha is always patient about teaching and - when necessary - reteaching me. I am not great with electronics, but I can use my aids, the TV sound projection and my Iphone with my aids.

Life ChangingIt’s been eighteen months since I had my hearing exam and was fitted for my new hearing aids. Having tried and rejected a pair of devices elsewhere, about ten years back, I was reluctant to try the latest technology at Professional Speech & Hearing Specialists. I knew it would be costly and I had my doubts about its effectiveness and comfort. However, after a period of adjustment and frequent visits to Professional Speech & Hearing Specialists, I have found that I can’t function without them. The level of expertise and attention that I experience at Professional Speech & Hearing Specialists, along with the incredible functionality of the hearing aids is remarkable. Now I can carry on two-way conversations, rather than faking it or just nodding. I do so in relatively noisy environments. I can connect wirelessly to my cell phone to converse, listen to music or follow GPS directions when driving. I can also follow the news and dialog on TV via Bluetooth.The devices, which are small, light and comfortable, are actually computers that can be programmed for various situations and uses. They are not inexpensive, but three years of service, including cleaning and maintenance as well as instruction and excellent, thoughtful professional counseling and testing is included. I was able to pay for mine over a year and a half at no additional cost.I would highly recommend Professional Speech & Hearing Specialists.
