I just started going to The Lemire Clinic. I have always been into holistic forms of treatment for myself. I chose NOT to do Dr. James Lemires program because it was too expensive every month for not much in return for myself. I am relatively healthy. For patients that are REALLY sick or severely struggling with a threatening illness - he would be the man I would see - for sure!! They offer many wonderful things at the Clinic. So I currently see Evette Hearn, NP who is a sweetheart. I am diligent on staying here because I want to continue with someone who practices a more natural approach. I will however, warn new comers that Evette is only there 2x per week. So if I have an immediate issue that needs attention - there is not much this clinic does for me. It was suggested that I needed a colonoscopy though no referral was sent to my colonoscopy doctor. When I personally went to the Clinic to ask them to send a referral they claimed I had to wait until Evette was back in for the week to send that referral. Is there not someone else there at the clinic that can do this without her present? My concerns may come in the future if I am really sick and need to see my doctor but have to wait until mid-week when she is available. I also have called with concern on three separate occasions with questions on supplements that I was to take - with no response from anyone - not even a return call. When I finally reached the front desk said they would call me back that day and never did. I am not sure if this is because they seem to be under staffed? or if it is how this clinic rolls?? So far, I like Evette - she is thorough and extremely knowledgeable about supporting her patients with alternative methods for good health. Only time will tell if I will stay with this clinic. Possibly I will post another update.
