Not one ounce of negativity about this Golds. It has everything anyone could want in a gym and then some. I cannot imagine any complaints about this awesome gym. You get your moneys worth. Also, it is clean and sanitary which is incredibly important to everyone. If you think its too expensive then go to Planet Fitness. Youll be back.

Visit a couple of days. Expected New equipment as the gym is New. However, the pool is ice cold. No hot spa to relax muscles after workout. Staff seems to be belligerent. I was checking out Zone fitness gym. They offer a Heated spa as well a HYDRO MASSAGE BED. Oh the recovery room has a bed as well, however for another $30 a month! Yes, THIS GYM ONLY DESIRES YOUR MONEY, & A LOT OF IT! Pool still more cooler temperature. Zone gym seems better.

I love this gym! The staff is awesome. The equipment is in excellent shape (new). AND everything is clean. Theres tons of space, spin classes, an aerobics room, a boxing room, lap pool, saunas in the lockers and a recovery room (and more).

We drive all the way from Clermont when we can just to visit this gym. Very well kept and has everything you need and more. Staff is super friendly too! Worth the visit every time.

I signed up before the gym opened with a membership that included classes and at the time they told me that a locker would be included for an additional fee that I paid each month. I did not actually go to the gym for a year and when I finally went in, the owner stated that I was never given a locker and there was no way that could have been the promotion. So she refunded my money for the locker that I had paid, but refused to honor what they originally told me.Today, my daughter and niece were working out and a member of their staff went up to them, while they were working out, and told them that there was a problem with their membership. She couldnt wait until they had finished their workout, she actually stopped them while they were working out, embarrassing them in front of others who were working out! She told my niece that she had to pay the adult membership now. When my niece tried to explain to the owner that they had honored the teen price, she said that when you start driving then they generally change the membership! She is still 17, still a teen! So, my daughter called me and I told her to take her phone so I can speak to the owner, she then stated to me that she would honor her teen membership until she turned 18; however, she refused to listen to the girls and pretty much wanted to up her membership to twice the amount! So, I canceled my membership as well as both the girls, and do not recommend them to anyone. The gym is nice, yes, but I refuse to do business with people who cannot keep their word...it happened twice to me...once too many!

Fabulous range of equipment, several cable machines, plenty of weights. Boxing .group exercise. Beautiful pool, sauna and much more . Food and protein drinks readily available along with coffee water and workout gear to purchase .Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable staff along with super fun trainers. The whole facility is kept so clean and even the cleaning ladies smile and are happy to be part of the team. Very fun group of attending people . Extremely well-run fun gym. Ive attended many gyms and this one is at the top of my list.

Loved this gym but after a staff member raised his voice at me for a wrong assumption I canceled my membership. No one should be treated disrespectfully.Kindness goes a long way.

I’m proud to be a member here! Great health club – it’s not just a gym! Gold’s is not an intimidating nor judgmental place to work out. Staff is friendly, professional, & helpful. Members are considerate of each other.Their dedicated cleaning crews are always moving throughout the facility & keep it very clean & well-organized. They have sanitizing wipes & hand cleanser dispensers everywhere you look.This is a new facility with all new equipment kept in great shape – I never see equipment broken as in other clubs. It’s a bright & cheerful place to work out –– great lighting, high ceilings, & no odors. The aerobic & weight training equipment is uncrowded, well-organized, & professional grade –– state of the art! The club has nice locker rooms & dedicated rooms/areas for lap swimming, boxing, spinning, yoga/Zumba, squats, tire flipping, & child care.Overall, Gold’s is a terrific value!

They try to call and email you in with a special offer. They dont respond to emails or texts after they email and text you. Called in and was offered annual fee and enrollment fee waived but if you want more off that you need to talk to Liz who has to be called an insane amount of times to get a response from. Then she says associates lied about fees waived and tries to charge you more than the month to month rate for a commitment.i hope corporate gets a new staff. Wanted to sign a commitment and enjoy their shakes 5 times a week but cant in good conscience go to a place with this type of customer service.

This gym is very impressive even by NYC standards which is where im from. Serious people training in this gym requires me to be on my A game. It is a pleasure to be with like minded people that are serious about their physiques. Five Star gym.

This is the most beautyful and cleanest gym I ever joined.the top notch weight equipment aone is worth 10 stars.not to forget the lap pool and large sauna.very caring staff and members are at this gym.and least and last the amazing juice bar and their delicious prepped meals for a healthy lifestyle ate great.i highly recommend this gym for everyone

30 years of going to gyms it’s the best I’ve found yet! The staff are all welcoming and helpful! Because of the amount of all the best and latest equipment you never have to wait for anything. The salt water swimming pool and recovery room are only a couple of the amazing features! And all in Ocala Florida !

The environment is very clean and welcoming. As soon as you walk in you immediately feel the positive energy and good vibes. The staff are always available and friendly. The smoothies and locally prepared muscle meals to go are excellent as well💪🏻And last but definitely not least....the amenities such as the sauna and the amazing massage chairs are the icing on the cake:) AFTER your workout of course😉

Wholly smoke nicest gym, I have ever, ever seen!! 50 years old lived In Vegas, Tampa Orlando, Sarasota and California and have seen many gyms on both coasts!This was beyond impressive, managers Kevin and Luc made my experience tremendous! They have a smoothie bar suntan booth massage parlor endless machines and weights, punching bag, pool! Top notch A1 staff you will not be disappointed I just wish I live permanently in Ocala

The best gym I have ever been to in my life!! I can’t stress this enough, this gym has every piece of equipment you need and then some! This gym, in my opinion, is what every gym should try and emulate. I’ve been to Golds Gym Venice and this place is much cleaner and has the most up to date equipment. I would choose this gym over other gyms any day.

I never expected to visit a gym that was so technically advanced. The equipment there is second to none. They literally have 5 different brands of equipment and you never have to wait on any machines. I am getting results I’ve never received from any other gym. The staff is attentive and are always there to help. It’s like visiting your friends and family when you go. Other gyms may be cheaper and so are their results. Don’t base you decision on your pocket book. Better to spend a little more and get exactly what you want, results then to spend a little less and be very disappointed!

Amazing atmosphere, great staff, and the hours can fit anyone’s schedule. It feels like you’re walking into the Hilton to work out. It’s the best gym I’ve ever used. Highly recommend to anyone.

The gym presents itself as a clean spacious and futuristic looking facility with numerous amenities. Luz will walk you through the facility pointing out every class, lockers and restrooms throughout the gym. Luz will make sure you understand everything there is to know about GOLDS GYM OCALA and if you dont she will kindly go over everything again so you can enjoy your membership. Amidst all the chaos that surrounds us nowadays due to the COVID-19 pandemic its nice to know that Luz and the staff will always make you feel welcomed and at home. My FAVORITE gym in Ocala! Brand new and the equipment is phenomenal. I love syncing my Apple Watch to the stair climbers and treadmills! Instructors are great and the classes seriously kick my butt. So happy to live less than 5 minutes from this gym! The protein shakes are super yummy too!

One of the best facilities Ive ever seen. Top quality equipment and caters to several fitness modalities. Honestly wish I had this here in Tallahassee.

Really enjoy this gym. Joined for the pool. Just had a personal trainer this month. She was able to show me exercises I would not have thought of. looking forward implementing them into my work outs.

Friendly, helpful staff. They have more equipment than any other gym I’ve been to, along with a variety equipment to satisfy just about anyone. In addition they have saunas, electronic massage chair and tables and a lap pool.

I have been at Golds Gym Ocala since they opened their doors and I have loved being a part of this Golds Gym family! From the owner-- who is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met, he greets everyone he sees; and each of the staff members themselves! They all make you feel good about being there, whether you know what youre doing or not!! My kiddos love being in the child center--I mean have you seen that play area?! I would love being in there too!! lol. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Golds Gym Ocala!!! During these crazy times they have taken ALL of the extra precautions to make everyone feel safe while being there and still not miss a beat!! My family truly appreciates you all!!!

I am disgusted on what I witnessed yesterday, watched employee staff interrupt someones workout, telling him he needs to leave and was making a scene.. claiming that sunday this customer was training/coaching someone. So happens to be sunday, I saw was him working out with another and going over form to make sure it was done correctly. There is no reason to force someone out because of that, Employee was rude and unprofessional to the point it made me and few of my friends sick. Talked to the customer and literally feel the energy he had before just slip away.. I would not recommend going here until staff has changed.

Very disappointing costumer service! I went today to visit the facilities since I was very interested in joining gym, now that businesses are opening again. I was offered the “bronze membership” $49.99, the most basic one. Here’s the thing, they charge you an “initiation fee” about 50dls and then two months later they charge you another annual fee another 50dls. So it comes to about 150 dls. Sure, the gym is new and nice but come on this is not a VIP club. The worst part was when I asked if could have a complimentary day pass to try it out and they refused. I mean come on! No way I am paying 150dls without even trying the equipment and getting a feel their safety protocols, particularly now with COVID. Bad costumer service pays a high price my friends.

During my first workout at this gym I did not see one person wipe down a machine before or after they used it. During this time of the virus, it should be made clear that equipment must be wiped down . The owner should make this clear to his employees that this must be done.
