I called in the AM and spoke with Sandra, requesting an appointment to see if PC Planet might be able to restore my computer whileI waited. She suggested I come in midafternoon when things were generally slower. When I arrived, I was happy to note that the were observing Covid safety precautions!!Ralf assisted me and told me what what he would try to do, and what would be necessaryif that didn’t work. He said it would likely be 30-45 minutes initially and then we’d take it fromthere. We were lucky in that it was a prettyeasy fix, but Ralf was willing to go the extra mile. They are very professional and knowledgeable an, most importantly, very helpful! Thankyou so much for your prompt service!! My aunt is not the best with computers and so naturally she finds herself with one all of the time. We took her Dell all-in-one to PC Planet where Ralf assisted us. He ordered a new mobo (with an upgraded processor) to replace the previous one. I would highly recommend taking any tech there to have it fixed as they are very kind, honest, and patient. Ralf really went the extra mile the last time my aunt had an issue when he had to reinstall the OS.

Very friendly couple run this place. This was the first computer place Ive been were they didnt push the most expensive thing on you. They actually helped me choose something less expensive that fit what I needed it for. Even though I was able and willing to get something more expensive they reminded me of what I said I wanted explained the difference between the upgrade to let me way out the pros and cons of both. To stop from making this longer if you want to support local business especially the so called moms and pops places, for computer related things this is definitely the place.

Needed a quick turn around for my overheating PC and the staff was super friendly and supportive. They even had the item I needed in stock and were able to help me quickly. Would definitely recommend checking them out for any PC needs. My computer is back to running like new again.

I will never step foot and this store again it took 4 weeks to get a $2 part and they keep making excuses mail was not working

Took two tries and almost 2 months, but it has been a month now and now issues at all. Everything is working like a charm.(Do not let the time and tries dissuade you, I have a very complicated unique system) They went above and beyond to make sure it was performing at peak levels.I would gladly return to them for assistance in the future. The staff was very friendly kept me updated and did outstanding work and the price was almost Vendor direct levels. They are Not making much of a profit from the parts and labor I paid for.

When I say this is the only computer repair shop that you should go to in Ocala .... I am not being biased I have visited over four repair shops in Marion County. But this is the only company that took my questions seriously with time and courtesy. Absolutely amazing stuff from top to bottom and I will continue to only use PC planning for my personal electronics repairs. Amazing group of people!!!!! 5 stars isn’t enough haha.

Two yr old Dell XPS stopped working. After spending hours trying to reset it both by myself and with extended warranty company (which wanted to reload Windows 10, thereby erasing all data on SSD), I found PC Planet in Ocala. I was looking for a computer repair shop after my computer continuously kept shutting down. I came across PC Planet and was a little skeptical since Im new to Ocala. After reading all of the positive reviews, I decided to bring my tower in and explained everything that was happening.Ralf has EXCELLENT customer service. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to fix everything. He even took the time to explain all the issues and gave me a detailed receipt on everything. I love the fact that I wasnt nickled and dimed for a minor error. I would definitely recommend PC Planet. Ralf is the man to go to!

I have a Dell laptop that had a problem with the charging port, so I took it to Ralf at PC Planet. The jack harness was replaced and now is charging like it should. Service is incredible. Quality of work is exceptional but more importantly, when something went wrong they stepped up right away. We are traveling in an RV and I brought in 2 computers. My computer they replaced the keyboard on the laptop and it is perfect. The second computer was my wifes laptop which had a fried mother board and we bought one of the rebuilt models and after we drove 2 hours south we had an issue. Sandra and her husband drove to us Saturday and picked up the laptop and replaced the hard drive with an upgraded hard drive and delivered it to the state park where we were staying Monday morning. YOU cant get better service then that.

Awhile back we had a problem with the CD drive which was intermittent. PC Planet in Ocala tackled the problem and spent a great deal of time finally downloading and reloading all our programs in order to resolve the problem. The staff was great and even phoned us with updates. Price was much more reasonable than I had expected based on the time it took to repair. They are my only IT to go to now.
