New location is perfect. Hidden gem of a barbershop with three polite and caring professionals. My barber took the time to listen, give his opinion and we both came to an understanding of what was wanted and I couldnt be happier. Great price too. They also have drinks for you as you wait, Amazing!!

A good barber is like a comfortable pair of boots. Roland has created a shop that just feels comfortable in every facet. Both he and Cory are exceptional barbers in their own right. Im partial to fades, and they both have mastered the art form. They also do shaves & beard trims. I currently do not wear a beard, but Ive seen their work and like everything else it stands out. I appreciate all that this team does to ensure my satisfaction, i.e., only taking appointments. Never having to wait in barber line hell is just an example of that. Shaving my neck at the end of my cut, making sure Im satisfied with my cut before I leave... This shop will and does go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction, its easy for me to recommend their services. I have been coming here for little over a year now. Corey always has me looking right. If you havent stopped in for a cut with Corey or Roland then all i can say is your not looking your best.

This was my second trip to Rolands Barber Shop. However, this was my first trip to their new location. It has a very warm and welcoming vibe. It was clean and classy. I was at ease as soon as I walked in. I saw Corey Higman, who is phenomenal in both his professionalism and barber skills. I am relatively new to the area, and was recommended to Rolands by a colleague. I came in with a head of hair WAY overdue for maintenance. I told Corey what I wanted, but also that he was the professional and that I trusted his opinion and judgement. I left Rolands looking fresh and clean! Needless to say, I have found my new barbershop and barber! I do not usually write reviews, but in this case I felt the need to let others like myself know that there is an amazing barber shop here in Ocala!

When I had hair my mother, who was a hair stylist, always did it and then when it fell out I just shaved it myself.I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and how they really went way above and beyond my expectations for a shave of my head, neck and trim of my beard. Ive spent the majority of my life getting haircuts at chain barbers. Rolands just made me realize what Ive been missing. Appointments are definitely necessary because they actually take their time giving high-end haircuts, instead of speedcuts to get to the next customers.It has a chill, manly vibe of good dudes hanging out. Hands down the coolest barber shop weve been to. Gino cut my sons hair and it looks PERFECT. While focusing on detail it was easy to see that Gino has precision cutting skills and an eye for the most modern styles. The old school feel with a modern cutting edge approach just made us a permanent customer. Definitely worth the drive!!

They said they were appt only, but one the guys said he could take me anyway. Great skill with just scissors and fingers and the cleanest neckline i have ever had! Walked out looking more dapper then ever on laundry day! Unexpected, top notch work.

It was my first time today after hearing good things from friends and after having bad experiences at other local barbershops I wasn’t expecting much and I was pleasantly surprised by my cut...Celestino did a great job and this will now be the only place I get my hair cut!! Im glad I found this place after relocating from Miami. Ive been getting my haircut here ever since. James cuts my hair and he does an excellent job. I have also observed the other barbers in the shop, they all have great skills. So if you want a great barber go here.

Good people, good atmosphere, hair cut are at par with other places. BUT they cant get beards right. Been there twice and both times really messed up my beard. Ive been growing out my beard for a year, told the guy to just clean it up and he took 4 inches off. I just cant go back. Granted Ive never had Roland do it but I thank everyone there should be at the same level of expertise . Im not trying to talk bad about this place, this is just my experience.

I had an appointment with Celestino yesterday morning. Extremely happy with my cut. Was looking for a shop that wouldn’t screw up my beard like the last guy that I tried did. Celestino took his time and understood what I wanted. It’s a forty minute drive for me, but they are my new barbers from now on!

So disappointed. I just moved to Ocala, I am getting married in two days. I dont have a barber but I went looking for a decent one. I am so busy and saw that this place closed at 7. I thought great, I will cut out of work early and be there a half hour early before they close. I call at 6:31 and ask if they take cash or credit and they say cash. So I stop and get cash. At 6:36 I walk up to the barbers door and its locked. 3 or 4 guys just standing around. Not one customer. A guy slowly walks to the door and says they stop taking customers at 6:30. (I can understand that if you have customers, but they had nobody.) I pleaded that i am getting married and have no time. He didnt care. He just walked away. Dont list your hours till 7. I will have to scramble to find a place to get a shave and haircut the day of my wedding. I am screwed and may have one crappy haircut on my wedding day. You guys screwed me. I will never come to your barber shop. I will never recommend you. I am so sad, anxious and angry.
