Helpful staff, appointment only during COVID. Woman-owned and well-run.
I showed up a little after they opened and every chair was already full. They are busy on weekends and it was graduation season. The space is clean and well organized, but I wouldn’t call it a day spa. They greeted me quickly and politely, added my name to a list, and told me it would be about 30 min. I wasn’t in a rush so I chose my color and waited there (about 40 minutes). The service was quick, but included a rapid calf, arm, and shoulder massage. I was scrubbed, moisturized, and the massage chair was a nice touch. My feet weren’t in great shape, but the technician had great hands and it was completely painless.I was worried the nail polish I chose would appear streaky, but it dried pretty evenly. Good enough to be a wedding guest and much better than I was when I walked in.They accept cards, but you must tip your technicians in cash. The grocery store nearby has an ATM. Since I rarely get my nails done, I can’t tell if it’s a relatively good price, but it was well priced to me for the service.
Great Salon! The interior is lovely (the best on all Park Blvd.) The ladies are always so kind and helpful. You always feel attended to. Theres such a relaxing feeling when you go in and the pedicure procedure is amazing! Love the massage chairs!
Got gel nails done. Here was my experience: First of all, they are one of the only shops in Oakland that actually did childrens nails. The reason doing childrens nails isnt a good idea is because their nails are flimsy and it isnt as healthy. Before I left the store my nails already started peeling. After 2 days one of my nails had completely peeled off. The gems were barely there in the matter of a day. Not to mention that in the shower if your water is over 80 degrees they bubble up and ruin it all. Dont even get me started on the prices. They were bumpy, rough, and messy. The process to get them done took hours, though the outcome still looked rushed.
Comforting
Why I LOVE Le Soleil:The staff are so kind and gentleRelaxing environmentNo acetone smellVery clean and invitingAlways a good experience
The massage..I will never trade for anything else..
This my go-to manipedi place. Nice staff. Organic products and they do a great job.
Clean, pleasant with customer care focus. Love getting all my spa treatments here.
Beautiful place; highly recommended. See website for details!
These ladies are the best! Ive been going to Le Soleil for years. Each time I try a new nail salon, I always go back to them. They are very hygenic and clean, curteous and never rushed if busy. I rarely smell all those toxic chemicals is the air of other nail salons, and now theyve gone Organic.Plus, its the first nail bar Ive found that accepts AMERICAN EXPRESS!!
The best massage, hands down. I always get a Mani/pedi, Mani with gel. The gel stays on forever. Theyre usually quick but you never feel rushed. Theyre honest about wait times!! If its going to be an hour, theyll tell you so you dont get mad and leave 30 mins in after they told you 20 mins tops (like most salons do). All the girls are skilled. Never had to pick a favorite as they all do a quality job.
I love them. They do a wonderful job and I love going there for multiple services
