She was very responsive, informative and patient with questions. I finally decided to go with another insurance company but Allie was professional even then, as she had been all along the way. I want to thank you for letting us know about the uninsured motorist coverage available through our auto policy. You told us about it soon after I got out of the hospital at the end of January following a 2.5 month stay because of the injuries I sustained as a pedestrian. I was hit by a large vehicle being driven by an uninsured owner/driver. Today we got a call from Farmers to let me know that I was being awarded $500,000, the maximum amount under our policy. Some of that will undoubtedly go to cover unreimbursed medical expenses, but one step at a time. I am doing well though will need to have follow up surgery in the fall.

While we were abroad Ruth allowed our homeowners policy to lapse. We found out about it when we tried to file a claim for damages ($50,000!) caused by an Airbnb party. Ruth refused to file a claim, refused to send out an adjuster, and told us if we sent her descriptions and photos of the damage she wouldn’t look at them.We became suspicious and contacted our carrier directly and learned that our policy had not been renewed by Ruth (as agreed) and that we had been totally uninsured for 7 months.Ruth has never admitted to what happened and has not responded to communications from us or our attorney. We are now pursuing legal remedies.

Ive been a Farmers customer for over 15 years. My original agent retired and transferred my account to my current agent. That agent has literally not returned a phone call or email in over a year in my attempts to get a policy review and ask about other coverage(of course I still get the useless automated birthday and holiday cards in the mail).Based on reviews I contacted Ruth who spent her lunch break on the phone with me going over my policy and questions. So far, so good! She then said shed get back to me by email on a quote and also with a letter to sign so I can transfer agents.A few weeks go by and nothing. Calls and emails are ignored. I suppose she decided I wasnt worth her time but a quick followup declining my business(with whatever excuse) would have been appreciated. More of my time wasted dealing with Farmers.I will attempt to talk to another Farmers agent but if this happens again then I will have no choice but to take my business to a different company. Whos heard of paying for insurance but never being able to get a hold of your agent so they can try to sell you more? Its Kafkaesque.
