I have had to repair broken springs on garages at different homes I own in Pompano beach area of Florida. I have used Dior do tor three times now! Yesterday I heard a loud pop and a crash of my garage door hitting the ground, after pulling into my garage. I immediately called door doctor after trying the door and noticing a spring had broken. They were able to send Anthony to my rescue, you feel trapped, i have a double door, too heavy to lift alone, both my cars were stuck in the garage! With in 2 hours Anthony was at my house, I decided to replace both springs since I know from experience once one goes the other is usually not far behind! It took him less than 30 minutes to complete the job. He was clean, kind and very professional, thank you door doctor for a job well done!

Anthony was courteous, pleasant, and professional. He knew immediately the source of the issue and fixed it quickly and efficiently. We tested the door together to ensure it was functioning correctly.

I called them because our garage door was bad, the technician Perry came in a timely manner, inspected, measured, and told me he could not repair, only replace, promised me an estimate. He leaves and the entire door comes down and gets off the trail, before he came we were able to pull up and down by the chain at least.I called him he says... oh I cant help, call Door Systems of South Florida in Pompano. WHAT?????You come here for an estimate, you make it worse, to the point that all our employees cars are stuck inside of the yard and you just say call someone else?I am not looking for a freebie, but at least leave it the same way you found it so we can still function. Not leave us strained on a Friday, stuck inside the yard. Very disrespectful and unprofessional!UPDATE:Tim came by and looked at it, but he could not fix it, because most of his workers were gone for the day. He said he would be back by Monday. The manager also called me to apologize for Perrys attitude.This means a lot, a company that cared enough to come back and at least try.The other company that Perry suggested came by and fixed a way that we could at least operate manually.

While temporarily short staffed the Door Doctor technician arrived early on the appointed day and had brought the necessary part to repair our garage door.He did a great job and was friendly and very helpful with maintenance tips for longer door operation.Highly recommend.

We keep their magnet on the back of the garage door and any time we need them they always do a great job. Like this weekend on Sunday when we had an emergency and they came out and took care of it. We never bother calling anybody else. I’ve been using them since 1998.

Just had garage door serviced. The Door Doctor technician(Anthony) did a great job!!!!!! Had a few issues with the door, and he was able to fix all of them. Took the time to tell me everything he was doing and why. And then asked if I had any other questions before he left. I highly recommend this company!

Very disappointed i how they handled the situation.I called door doctor to come back and fix some issues. I must note that all the issues where not all their responsibility but somewhere. Note this is after spending 24,000 dollars on new doors and openers .Needless to says they charged me full price hourly for the work that was not done right by there guys. I would say about 50% of the work preformed should have been on them. I would not have had a problem had they explained to what the situation would be before hand. I have been a contractor for 30+ years so this is not my first time working with subcontractors. Another florida contractor deciding to bill it after the job is done. I should have them come out and look at the work first and let them give me a price . I would say next time but there will be no next time using them.Just so everyone knows it not about the money i paid it. Its just the principle.

I had a recent visit to The Door Doctor at 1188 N.E. 47th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334 and it was great!Not only was this location easy to find, but the staff there including Cindy, Gary, and the rest of their employees greeted me with a smile and were very helpful. They listened to my needs and provided me with the exact part I needed in order to replace the weather stripping on the bottom of my Amarr Garage door.If I had the funds, I would have gladly hired The Door Doctor to complete the installation of the 9 metal retainer for the rubber weather stripping on my garage door. Unfortunately, it turned into a DYI project that I would not have been able to complete without the advice of the employees at the The Door Doctor.It was a pleasure to receive Excellent Customer Service for a change in this all-about-me world we currently live in. Especially when most people do not even say Thank You, Please, or Excuse Me anymore. All these are words that I very rarely hear these days.I would recommend The Door Doctor to anyone including my friends, family and neighbors.They made my day!

Purchased a new door opener. Went from a noisy chain to a super quiet band one made by Liftmaster. The door doctor has great prices and the service was exceptional. The technician (Anthony) was there early, did exceptional work hanging the new door opener, wires and wallMounts. Even fixed a couple bent locks that needed adjustment. Very clean and detailed work. Explained the new technology that comes with these models and helped set up remotes. Highly recommend this company. Thanks again for great customer service.

Pretty disappointed ! I will not do business with them again and will let others know !!!I had 2 springs replaced and after the guy saw that the garage door was sliding a little slow . I saw it to . So he checked another part and said it was good . Next day it stoped going up and down properly . It was stalling and sticking . They couldn’t come out for another week witch was disappointing . Considering I just paid for a job to be fixed. So when the guy comes out he says it a part that needed to be replaced and then charges me 110 $ in labor on top of the cost for the part . after I just paid 255$ for springs . Honestly I think they are up to no good . I get the feeling they are not honest company to Deal with. They shouldn’t have charged me another labor fee. I shouldn’t have had to pay for them 2 times in one week .

Terrible customer service. They call on their way (no time frame given) and if you don’t happen to be at your phone when they call, they CANCEL. I called 15 minutes after they left a message, yet they cancelled the entire day and moved on to other appointments. I waited two days for them to come, and missed their call (I have 2 kids, can’t be by my phone 24/7), yet they couldn’t spare me 15 minutes for a call back. How do you structure your day like this? Very poor strategy for customers.

Called Door Doctor, and spoke to Cindy very professional and helpful she was able to schedule a technician in a 2 hour time frame. Service tech Anthony arrived and was a 45 min repair and price was very reasonable. Thanks for your super fast professional same day services will defiantly recommend !!!

This company is the best!. They are very honest and professional. They came and fixed my garage door the same day as promised. The price I paid for the service was, just what they told me before they started the job.When the technician arrived, he noticed the issue was not as bad as once thought, and on the spot he replaced my springs upon my approval, and even got my garage door light working, all of less than the original estimate.If you want fair pricing and extraordinary service give The Door Doctor a call first!
