So my 2008 Mini cooper was damaged on the hood when an item fell off the shelf. The problem I was dealing with was everyone wanted to paint the car the color number from when it was new and that would not work since they discontinued my color after two years due to fading and it is now 13 years old. So after many shops I chose to go to JMD because the counter person was nice, the shop looked professional, and the owner seemed to care about my color issue more than every other shop seemed to. (First Star) (So Lets get started) Left care off and drove by 40 minutes later and it was already in the shop and was not sitting waiting for a day or so for them to get started. (Second Star) This was going to be a two day repair so I stopped by the second because I got a message that they needed to talk to me. SO, the issue was simple they finished the repair and got ready to paint it and the paint guy halted the process due to there were so many pings and dents from road rocks and such they he felt uneasy just painting over or around them. SO I am thinking here we go they are going to try and get more money from me to do extra work... However, I was surprised to find out they wanted to completely repair the full hood, prime, sand, paint and seal the full hood for just the cost of time @ $100.00 more. That was a surprise to me and with this being a $600.00 repair that was a welcome small amount more to get my baby back to 100%.(Third Star) When I came to pick it up I could not believe the color match they did and I had to ask how. So what I was shown was 5 different color samples where they did not remix the paint but instead aged the original color formula to copy years of fading. (Fourth Star) I asked for the color code and was told there is none because of the color aging technique they used but the full page formula and samples were filled away so if I need more work they could copy the color again. (Fifth star) I am showing you the fine quality and great matching done in pictures by this great old time shop that con respect that these cars we drive to some of us are family members that have memories and we do not want to notice the misshapes that happen on the way. So I recommend ALL MINI owners to stop by and let these great people give you a the same warm family feeling I got here. And also non mini owners because your life is already hard without a mini in it and you need all the good help you can get ;)...

JMD & Eduardo provided excellent service. They worked with my insurance to make sure that I didnt have to pay anything out of pocket and kept me updated on the progress of the repair. It was even done ahead of schedule! Highly recommend.

Ive been referred to JMD by a 👨‍💼manager at the old Oaklandpark Auto body shop but they moved to North Florida and he was a 👍nice guy! My damage is old age rusted away windshield frame and dry rot headboard and fabric, Im sure JMD has is all under control, every vehicle repair is different!

JMD Auto Collision is a good body repair shop and I would not hesitate to recommend these folks. The team there is very professional and responsible. They keep you informed every step of the way. Just make sure to take everything out of your car.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. They are just looking for money money money . First estimate was 3200$ And told us the Truck would be done in 6 days, we paid 3200$ CASH and got rental car for 6 days (700$) on 7th day we call they tell us a whole nother week . Once the truck is done we get a call that we can pick it up when we pay the balance of the “new estimate” which is another 2200$ (Total of 5500$) so once I went down there they told me that they replaced a bunch of extra parts that was not on original estimate and not one time did they mention extra parts in the two weeks that we were contacting them to see if the truck was finished .. usually a body shop will call every time a new problem occurs NOT THESE “PROFESSIONALS” .. well I advised them that what they did was illegal and they dropped the balance from 2200$ to 1500$ .. I then informed them I do not have 1500$ and that the 3200$ that was originally given to them was from our insurance company once they heard that they were very confident that they could “alter” the estimate to make the insurance company pay the balance (1500$) well the insurance company only approved 1300$ .. so I get a call we can get the truck when I pay the remainder 700$ because the Insurance company only approved 1300$ .. so they decided they want the whole 2200$ in imaginary parts after all they just want as much money as they can get . They are in everywhere just unprofessional and try and manhandle people and insurance companies out of their money .. if they could lie on insurance companies estimate what makes you think they won’t lie on yours ? I feel played everything this place does is ILLEGAL

This is a nice and well equipped body shop. MR palacios runs the place and actually cares a about the customer. The place works with all insurance companies and has licensed tech. Nice place plenty of space and good vibes.

Just had my car fixed at JMD after a collission. They repaired it perfectly and promptly. Gave me a ride to the rental company. When I brought the rental back to JMD they returned it for me. Super nice and answered all my questions. I Highly reccommend JMD.Arnie
