I called Geico roadside assistance and they sent sal’s towing. Sal’s dispatcher Kept me informed every step of the way. The super friendly and professional driver was extremely knowledgeable on time. All I had to do was hand him the key and get out of the way . He even called me from the dealership to let me know he had delivered the car to the specified person, what else could I ask for.

Puerto Rican Johnny came out and helped me and my family out with our vehicle we was stranded and he did all that he could and he actually pulled through what a great experience but the dispatcher was sooo rude and disrespectful no manors what do ever if it wasn’t for Johnny I would have had an awful experience

Car died on me and my bf in Coral Springs and needed a tug to Miami (39 miles), called Sals towing and just have to praise their professionalism, courtesy and kindness. I waited 3 and a half hours after I was told it would take an hour and a half by a Rep then 2 hours by the Technician. The Tech came out and did not want to do his job. I requested a tire change and he tried to convince me to tow my car with feeding me bullsh*t about the lugs on my car. The Cop and I had to tell him what to do. Extremely disappointed

They will tell you they would arrive in around an hour just so you hire them. Be prepared to wait up to 4 hours.

I have used Sal for years. Dont have to wait very long for a tow normally there in 20 or 30 minutes.

My disappointment wasn’t with the tow itself but more so the demeanor of the guy at the tow yard! Geico wanted me to go get my belongs out the car and needed to do so ASAP! Looking at the car it’s completely customized inside out with a yellow top battery, 4 dash cameras, android radio and host of other gadgets! When I arrived my glove box was open and all my paperwork was on the passenger floor and my owners manual was missing for my car! They literally went thru my vehicle before I got there! Later One guy came up to me saying I can’t take my speakers and other stuff out of there and I told him I own the car and Geico knows these things are in the car because the car is insured completely and if I want to remove my belongs I will do so! I didn’t even want the speakers even though they aftermarket but I wasn’t leaving my cameras, amp racks, external power sources, touch screen headrests which I replaced with the OEM headrests and radio to make it stock again! I had hidden cameras hidden inside for when I use to Uber and it’s interesting how I told them that I brought my tools to get my stuff and 2 separate people come up to me telling me I can’t get my stuff! The car looks mostly OEM accept for the privacy curtains and the custom seat covers and the wheels & tires!

John was extremely helpful and deliver my car safely I would use sals every time.

Incredible service! My car got a flat tire on the highway at 2 am and I was stuck in the rain. Everyone else I called was charging exorbitant prices, but Sal’s gave a reasonable price and was able to get a driver to help me as soon as possible (thanks Cam) Will definitely use again and highly recommend!

My car was in an accident and I went to the hospital. It was towed to Sals Towing. The next day when I came to get my stuff out of my car. I noticed my apple AirPods pros were missing. I called and talk to the old hag with white hair and she told me that the tow truck drivers dont go in the cars. That I needed to talk to the police because they most likely stole them. lol Anyways if your getting your car towed by Sals make sure you get all of your valuables out! They can not be trusted!

Today my car was towed and of course I needed a ride and my mother came with me, but what unfolded in the office was the most disrespectful and unprofessional scene I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure if the the person at the desk was having a bad day, but it was clear that he could not deescalate a bad situation instead he escalated it to the point where police officers had to be involved. Worse the other works in the office sat there laughing.

Been coming here over a year now, never let me down. excellent shop. Probably one of the most knowledgeable techs Ive ever met, shop is ran by professionals and most importantly they care about us, the customer. Never experienced an issue here at all. Only thing is they might need to expand soon, theyre always packed

Im not originally from South Florida and wanted to find a shop I could trust! I had a fuel leak and needed a new fuel pump installed in order to fix the issue, which can be a nerve wracking experience when trying to find a shop where you wont be ripped off. I was referred to Sals Repair, and Im certainly glad I was. CJ, Newton, and everyone at the shop made me feel welcomed and like an old highschool buddy, or like I was a family member of somebodys at the shop. They understood I was on a budget and in a tough spot, they worked with me and their price was fair, they worked quickly and thoroughly, and the truck is now running GREAT with no fuel leak! The vintage shop decor feels like a museum of beautiful antiques and Coca Cola out of the ice box, made me feel nostalgic and almost like a part of a club, they treated me like a friend right from the beginning and have now won me over for life, I will now come to Sals for all my auto repair needs and will confidentially refer everyone I know! They are the absolute worst tow company I have ever had to deal with! They make it virtually impossible for you to have an appraiser get to your vehicle or for you to retrieve your possessions. But they have no problem sending you a letter that they are going to auction off you vehicle ! I have no idea why anyone would use this company, especially law enforcement!!!

Great, prompt service! I had a door hinge that had been damaged/bent and I didn’t have time for a total replacement due to moving. Although they aren’t a body shop, they happily agreed to take a look and would give me suggestions if they couldn’t fix it there, They assessed the damage and quickly fixed it, so that I could safely get on the road without too much delay. Very kind and accommodating to clients as well as efficient and helpful! I would definitely recommend them for your future car needs.

He was unbelievably rude...barking at me, demanding that I open my trunk and turn on my e-brake from the moment we met. He threw his jack on the floor too all angry.I think he was upset because no one told me he was coming, and he had to wait ten minutes. Still, his behavior was unacceptable. He also smelled like weed.At least he changed my tire, but that was really unpleasant.

I called Ten Towing companies in Broward and every single one of them did not either answer my phone calls or get back to me. These guys showed up when it mattered the most. John, my tow truck driver, was professional and got me to where I needed to get to. I know who to call next time I need a Tow. Call Sal because at least they will answer your phone call instead of waiting for hours for a maybe or not on that tow.

I got in an accident in February. They were there very quickly to pick up the car at the scene, which was unfortunately totaled due to the fact I was hit from behind. They were very polite and very helpful when I was trying to get my rental car out of the tow yard, due to the fact the company Im renting through failed to help me within the 5 days they told me they would. Luckily, Sals even went above and beyond to contact the company who provides me with this car rental because I asked them to please help, due to the fact that it costs money to keep that car in a tow yard every day. I felt very happy when I had to check everyday to see if the car was picked up by my rental company so I can continue working and get another car, which unfortunately it took 11 days. 24 hours a day I was able to contact them and they treated me very nice over the phone and were very respectful, helpful & I would highly recommend to go to them if you are ever in the same situation, or even in any type of accident. Because of the fact that the rental company did not get the car anywhere near the time they said they would, or even come the day of the accident makes me want to praise this company for helping me so much. I had to get that car out of the tow yard in order to continue working, which was holding me back from doing my job because I drive full time. Sals towing in fort Lauderdale was very helpful, Very quick, and on top of it all they are very reputable. Highly recommended!

Best auto repair shop we’ve ever been to. Sal’s will never invent fake problems. They will just do what is needed to repair your car. Thought my car needed a new transmission, but Sal’s just did a transmission service for 1/10 the price. Now my car is as good as new.One time my car battery died. Sal’s drove to where my car was parked, gave the car battery a boost and did not charge me one penny. Brought my car to Sal’s where they immediately replaced the battery.The shop is sparkling clean. Every single employee is friendly and intelligent. They will answer your endless questions about cars and driving. If you are a snowbird, you can even store your car here in the summer for a small monthly fee.Extremely highly recommended!

The guy I talked to on the phone was really nice. They took care of my bike and nothing was missing from it, they even picked up little pieces off the ground after my accident and kept them with the bike which they didnt have to do. If I need a tow truck in the future I will def. Give them a call.

This towing company is AMAZING!!! My truck wouldn’t even try to start and I was so worried I was going to have to spend hundreds to get it fixed. The sweet tow truck driver decided to take a look under the hood for me and found out exactly what the problem was, and showed me how to fix it to get through to Monday when my shop opened! None of which he had to do. This company’s employees are so kind and I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

This place is here to make a profit off of people. My car was towed to Sals from a hit run accident from saturday to tuesday (4 days) and today(tuesday) im already at 500$. If you dont pay their absurd fee they threaten to cancel your license. I am already in pain from the accident, it corona virus I dont have a job, and left alone to cover the hospital fee and body mechanic. Sals burglary is not where its at, thumbs down.

The guy was nice, showed up quickly and helped me out. Only now a month later do i discover that he bent the control arm on my suspension because he didnt properly hook the tow cable to the chassis of the car when he loaded it onto the flatbed. Now i have to replace the control arm, the ball joint, and the tire. I will def not be using this company next time i need a tow truck.

My car was stolen so had no choice but to go pick it up here, we called and verified vehicle information and everything to get pricing and was quoted 130 prior to 6p. when I arrived the price doubled, how do you mess that up when we verified car vin info and everything over the phone?!the lady there admitted she made a mistake but they still didnt honor the price they quoted, super messed up and dishonest. they did work with me on eliminating the credit card fee but still tacked an an alternate fee, all in all still awful because I still had to pay 300+ to get my car out, money hungry people taking advantage of peoples unfortunate situations, if I could give 0 stars I would

I went through Geico Roadside Assistance for help on a flat tire. Sal’s Towing reached out to me to verify my location (I happened to be at a Shell Gas Station) and told me it would be 30 minutes or less until someone arrived (no problem so far). When Joe the mechanic arrived he seemed agitated that I didn’t need a towing, but just help on a flat. I showed him the claim that said I didn’t request a towing, and that Geico dispatched them out automatically. He rolled up his window and seemed like he was muttering words to himself. He got out and saw that I had a nail in my tire, so he removed the nail and tried patching it up for me. He said I needed to put air in now, and that he’d wait for me to do so. I went to my car to grab a dollar bill to change for quarters at the gas station, and as I was walking away, he yelled at me to “stay where I was”. He went to his car, grabbed a black bag which I assumed was his own air machine, and started hooking it up to my tire. I walked back to him and said “oh so I guess you have your own air machine then” to which he replied “well what does it look like?” in a very nasty, condescending tone. I watched him try pumping air in, but he advised that I follow him to a nearby Tires Plus to have them patch up the tires for me. I followed him there, but the store was closed. He reluctantly started to change the tire out for me with my spare (my original request) and he proceeded to make condescending remarks about my appearance. He replaced my tire and was on his way.I do not recommend this place to anyone for any of their services. You do not treat people like they are beneath you, and you especially should never comment on someone else’s appearance. Do the job, be courteous, professional, and be on your way. If I could rate this review lower, I would.

Real dirtbag. Tried to have my truck towed illegally. Doesnt own a heavy duty tow truck. So he involved westway towing. He doesnt even have rights to tow from this property. Hes is such a Scavenger sorry excuse for a man I would not use him thanks

I had to have my car towed-my insurance company arranged for the tow through Sals. I decided to let them take the car to be repaired at Sals after speaking to the tow truck driver. I am so glad I did. The whole experience was excellent-within 4 hours of the car being towed I knew what was wrong and had a quote for the work needed. Next day, got call the car was ready by 10am! Best part- UNDER the quote given by $60.00. The garage itself it amazing, old signs and memorabilia floor to ceiling! Highly recommended! Very professional.

My dad totaled his car last night which is a traumatic experience. This place was kind, professional, and went above and beyond to help us. Q was the employee who helped us empty out our totaled car. He was compassionate, sincere, and super nice. He said are you alright to my dad, he said cars can be replaced but you can’t be, you have to take care of yourself. I would highly recommend this place. Plus they have really cool memorabilia and antiques all over.

I filed a claim through Geico to receive a tow. And the guy that arrived was hastey and acted like he was doing me a favor by showing up. He also appeared to be TOO HYPER like he was under the influence of some type of UPPER drug. I eventually called Geico and requested for a different towing company. You just dont treat people like theyre nothing, especially when theyre using your services and keeping you in business.

I had the worst experience with them, first I called for the tow and I was told within the hour, after an hour had passed I called again to which I was informed that they had no recollection or any information for my car after waiting for 1hr. I will never again do business with them because the front office sucks big time.

This afternoon the tow man waited for me over 20 minutes until I arrived at the place where my car was stalled. I was at work and he waited for me and was patient and explained the reason why my car would not start. Ive been taking my car here since my wife recommended it before we were even married. She had been taking her car here for years prior.This place is honest. I have brought my car to them suggesting that I might need a particular service, and they have told me You dont need that. What shop does that? Many places would just say OK, do the work whether you need it or not, and collect your money. This place has integrity.They have a really nice waiting room with leather couches and the TV, and the Decour in the shop is quite unique. Sal is an antiques collector, and youll find quite a few hanging from the ceiling.Around Thanksgiving, youll always find two turkeys in a crate in the shop. They do this every year to celebrate the holiday season, and spare two turkeys lives.I will often drop my car the night before is going to be serviced, or pick it up after hours. I can do this because the towing shop is open 24/7 and is in the same building. That is extremely convenient.I highly recommend this repair shop. However, make sure you call for an appointment as they are very very busy.
