I brought my Toyota Matrix in a couple of years ago while living in Florida, because Id noticed some mild vibrating when the car was idle and wanted it checked out. They diagnosed the problem as a bad motor mount, ordered the part, and replaced it. It seemed a bit pricy, but whatever, it needed to be done. Shortly after the vibrations started again, and only got worse. This time I took it into a proper Toyota dealership, and they informed me the motor mount Sams had installed was for the wrong model, and the vibration was from poor fit. At that point I wasnt able to pay for another replacement so soon after, and it wasnt likely going to cause much harm, but they said it would need to be fixed eventually. Fast forward to today. Im back in my home state of California and brought the car to a trusted long time mechanic to replace that darn part. While he was in there, he discovered that the part wasnt just rattling because its not the right one, Sams also used a pile of washers to wedge it in place! Its been rubbing, metal on metal, for 2 years now. So they used the wrong part, did a hack job to get it in place, said nothing, and charged through the nose! Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

I’ve used Sam’s Automotive for years on my personal vehicles from oil changes to tire repairs to tuning! They ARE the best in the business. No matter the vehicle, they are experts at what they do and everyone has a great attitude there and is always friendly.

I went to Sams Automotive because I had a shaking problem with my car after getting an oil change with a tire rotation at another place. I found them because they have the best reviews and rating on yelp in my area. When I called for an appointment the guy (Dorian, i believe) was extremely nice and understanding of what I wanted done and why. They had fast availability, I was able to get an appointment the next day at 8 am. They fixed my car, actually test drove it to see what I was taking about, and let me know what I should get done on the car, without trying to sell me on anything. They are very professional and definitely a place I will revisit and recommend to friends.

I needed to fix the suspension on my 2007 S550 and I was worried about the cost. I had it towed to SAMs Automotive & Mike, the owner was very nice, kept the fix affordable, and got me back on the road. Thanks!

Just had my clutch replaced there. Very honest group of guys. They inspected my fly wheel and instead of taking me for a ride they gave me a honest answer and replaced what I needed not just what was in the interest of the shop. Unreal service. The honest input really made me love this place. They do everything from maintenance, tints, tire, etc. unreal. I will only use this place for now on. My car feels brand new. They inspected everything plus the clutch and gave me a full review. Just a great group of guys. I sat in the shop taking for a few minutes. When a place is personal and attentive and honest it goes along way. Just a great experience. Thank you guys so much.

I was impressed using Sams for the first time this week. I just went for oil change, and brake fluid flush. Work was complete On Time, Priced Fairly, and the recommendation of adding tire rotation was appreciated and needed. The shop is impeccable.

Probably one of the best customer service Ive ever received from any business! I called because I needed my rotors replaced, dropped off my car the next night and by 10am the following morning my car was ready! Bruce listened and offered only what I needed without trying to upsale. He was friendly, patient and proactive so my wait time was as minimal as possible. Their quote was comparable to what Ive researched. Even later, when I heard a high pitch vibration, it was such a simple fix that they didnt even charge me! I wont go anywhere else now and I will recommend them to who ever will listen. They have a customer for life now.

They fixed something I didnt even ask for them to fix without charge. I brought my car here for an oil change and brought my own oil and filter and labor was a very reasonably priced. Will definitely come back.

Once again, Sams Automotive excels. As I told them as I left to head home, If I havent said it lately, you are the best. I had a battery issue after using a tire inflator that gave bad directions. Long story short, my battery was dead when I brought it in. This was a battery they had installed in April of this year. They diagnosed it and found that the battery after being charged was still asking for a recharge. To solve the problem they replaced the battery and as a courtesy upgraded to a MT battery at no extra charge. Does not get any better than this. They unequivocally stand by their work. This is the one and only place I would ever take my car.The holy grail of automotive repair shops. Thorough, trustworthy, pride in their work, stands behind their work, and reasonable make this shop my go to repair shop. I would think of taking my car no where else. I have recommended this shop to friends, and they all have had the same experience. Highly, highly recommended.

A few months ago we moved our warehouse to Oakland Park. We needed some service performed on our fleet of vehicles. From the second we walked into the door at Sams (Signature Autohaus) the staff was extremely helpful. We couldnt get one of our Cars started to bring it in for service and they sent a mechanic over to help us out, for NO charge... Who does that?? I brought my car in to have my exhaust and brakes checked. I spoke with Richard who was very helpful. They diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote for the repairs. I had brought my car to Midas six months earlier and it cost me over $900 to have part of the exhaust replaced. Richard explained that the exhaust would eventually have to be replaced because of rust but he could replace part of the exhaust that was causing the problem. The cost of the repair was less than half of what Midas charged me. Yes, I understand that the repair was not the same but Midas stated that the rest of the exhaust was in good condition. Obviously, this was not the case since there was another issue six months later. Richard called me after the repair was done and told me that it didnt make sense to repair everything since the entire exhaust would have to be replaced eventually. The cost of the repair was a fraction of what the initial quote was and I was grateful for that. You dont find many auto repair shops with a conscience because he could have easily repaired more of the exhaust and charged me more, fully knowing that it would have to be replaced eventually. I wish more shops were as honest as Sams. Richard also gave me a quote for a brake job. While my car was getting fixed, I called other shops to compare prices. Sams was by far the lowest and I will be scheduling in the near future to have them replaced. Thanks again Richard!!

Thought they did a great job in fixing my car, but noticed when I got home how filthy the interior of my car was with scratches and scuff marks right around the shift gear area. It just feels like somebody was joy riding doing some heavy shifting.The son of the owner pointed out the black stuff right by the drivers side that they supposedly cleaned up when I know for a fact that when my car was brought to them, it was just thoroughly cleaned by the guy that details my cars regularly.I will never again betray my trusty mechanic Alex as I know he will not take my car for a joy ride. So for those with high end cars, please do not bring your car here.

Terrible terrible place, i would not recommend this place. they left so many screws not tighten on my car other parts messed up. then make it seem like the car was like that. not recommend. terrible. my car still runs the same way when i took it there, beware dont let the expensive cars that they have there look like they are a great plece.

I had some LED lights installed on my vehicle to replace my regular fog lamps. The service was fast, the estimate was accurate, and the work was great! I will be returning for my other needs!

The people that are giving all these good reviews must be close personals friends of the owner, just to change the oil 30 bucks if you bring you own oil and filter then says if Im spending an hour on the car and wont top of no fluids, it takes 15 minutes to do a oil change

Well i sent my lady friend over there to see how honest they were in if they can help her out.they wanted a $100 change a 20 dollar serpentine belt that takes about a whole 5 minutes.Also wanted $350 this change spark plug wires and a coil which takes probably 20 minutes.$650 to change motor mounts which would take less that an hour and parts mabey $150 bucks all togather.Thats just ridiculous i feel bad for woman always getting gouged by overcharging shops.

Its nice to see a professional and clean shop these days. These guys are full service. Ask them about their 100,000 mile/3year warranty on engines and transmission

Sam’s Automotive is the best! The first time we used their services was for my wife’s Camaro. They were fair, responsive, and resolved all of the issues that another shop had misdiagnosed. Now I brought my Versa here. It’s a humble car and I run it into the ground. Sam’s was awesome in detecting the issues and helping me address them in a way that matched my budget yet ensured I will be safe on the road. As a woman, it is always so nice to be treated with kindness and respect while doing car related business. No creepy, rude, or condescending guys here! Even though we don’t live close- I will always bring my car here. PS My Nissan Versa is sitting amoung Lamborghinis, a Bentley, an Audio, and other amazing cars but they still made me feel like I was just as valuable a customer!

Before moving to Florida from NY back in the end of January I researched everything I was going to need including a reliable auto repair shop.With shining reviews all over yelp I was confident that being very internet savvy I had found the shop I would bring my car to regularly as needed while living in Florida.On my drive up here from NY, one of my recently installed (3 days) halogen upgraded aftermarket headlights that I had on my Benz burnt out. I said to myself great timing....the new bulb must have been defective or the guys work from back in NY must have came loose.I continued my journey another 600 miles to get here in South Florida with confidence that I would have to pay the great Sams automotive a first visit while apartment shopping and living out of a hotel room and many personal valuables packed in my car.Upon arrival they treated me like gold....yes a bunch of professional smiles. Showed me (the son) that he too had these headlight upgrades on his truck and knew how they worked and has installed them himself.Well low and behold Dennis you have a short you have no power going to the left headlight well we can rig up the power from the other headlight boy are they good...they spent literally an hour pretending to look for a problem and lining me up for the $500 KILL.Well good for me I am a seasoned New Yorker whose hairs stand on my neck when I know I am getting screwed....but I just wasnt 100% certain.They told me to bring and leave the car on Monday (wow great another 3 days of driving with no headlights thanks again guys). I gave $10 to each of two accomplice‎ employees and agreed to bring my car back Monday to trusty Sams.Again something told me ......I never have problems with anything on my Benz....and this happened 3 days after my NY mechanics installed a $125 kit for the 2 headlights. I got that sixth sense feeling and didnt go back.I ended up going to tint world on sunrise where they also do headlight upgrades and in around 7 minutes of investigation and a preliminary 5 minute wait I was told to change the baluster....roughly $50...maybe it was less. No short existed at all, just a standard cheap 5 minute fix!!!!ALL IN ALL THEASE GUYS NEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND THEY DO IT ALL DAY EVERY DAY....ROB UNKNOWING CUSTOMERS AS SOON AS THEY EARN THE CUSTOMER TRUST!!!!!!A BIG BUYER BEWARE AS THESE GUYS COST ME TONS OF TIME AND STRESS AS $500 SIMPLY WASNT IN THE BUDGET MOVING OUT TO FLORIDA ALREADY ON A SHOESTRING BUDGET. THEY ARE RELENTLESS THIEVES WITH A MASK ON AND THEIR EMPLOYEES SHOULD REALIZE THAT THERE BOSS IS JUST A BOSS NOT THEIR SLAVE MASTER AND SHOULDNT GO ALONG WITH THE BOSSES CHARADE OR ELSE THEY HAVE NO MORALS EITHER AND ARE IN ALL ACTUALITY CRIMINALS THEMSELVES COMMITTING CRIMINAL OFFENSES.If after reading my story you dare to spend a nickel with them, I pray for you and dont say you werent warned. Already go to Sams and think they are great? think again...did that brake pad job turn into brakes, rotars and more? I am sure it did and I am sure it wasnt necessary....just a bunch of low level cons!
