My package has been sitting in this post office for 3 weeks now and still no update. Everything else that i ordered online that didnt pass through this USPS office came in already.

What are you guys doing over there? My packaged was processed days ago and still nothing? I’ve literally got other stuff after that package got there and it has already arrived... it seems a lot of people are having this issue with you guys, personally if I were you I would think about another job if you can’t handle this one. We have 2 people who work down at our post office every week and they get everything out the same day and that’s normally how every other post office is.

Every time I have the option to NOT use UPS I choose not to. My package flew around from Hong Kong to Berlin all the way to California in two days then ended up here with no update just still sitting there saying it’s in the sorting center. I bought my contacts online so I could save the trouble of having to go in, get an exam then wait on my contacts but this beats the purpose. As long as it has been sitting here I could of already got my exam, waited for them to be filled and had them picked up. I’ve been a Package Handler at FedEx before and let me tell you we couldn’t have these problems.

In addition to the justifiably horrible reviews Ive read thus far, Id like to add that USPS also deletes tracking history entries to TRY and cover up their ineptitude, which is laughable considering even the cheapest phones nowadays possess SCREENSHOT capabilities.Whenever I can avoid using USPS, I do.My business reputation, as well as my bank account (by not having to constantly refund customers anymore) relies on my NEVER using USPS.However, as a customer myself, every once in awhile, I get stuck still having deal with the USPS.When I do, I screenshot EVERYTHING.That said, I had a package due to arrive in upstate NY today 9/3/21 by 9PM EST, that USPS trackings last entry said left THIS OAK CREEK WI facility yesterday 9/2/21 at 1:37PM.When I checked tracking again today around 7PM, the 9/2/21 1:37PM tracking history entry had been DELETED (thank God I took that screenshot!) and replaced with a new package departure date and time of 9/3/21 at 6:04PM from THIS same facility.So basically 29 hours after the DELETED tracking entry of 9/2/21 at 1:37PM, it is still presumably sitting there.But yeah, lets just delete that tracking entry and simply pretend like we dont have sh*t running down our leg that everyone can actually SMELL and SEE running down our leg.Thatll fix it.

Its very mixed sometimes there fast and efficient other times there the exact opposite so Id give it 3 cuz its either gonna be super quick or its gonna take awhile.

I’m still waiting on my package & why is it taking so long to get it ??? All I can say is get people that really want to work.seems like they don’t care about us.I bet family & friends get theirs on or be for time.give us a number to call to the shipping place so we can pick it up ourselves.no 1 800 #’s.

Why is it packages end up being delayed for so long here? Absolutely no reason for it. It seems impossible for people to just do their job anymore.

I cannot believe anything is routed through here.Many times now packages move smoothly from anyplace in the US but, once they arrive in Oak Creek ..standstill ! No updates for days if not weeks . my review changes when your productivity does.

I had an Etsy package shipped to me from China. I took a bit to get through customs, but then it ended up here. Its now been 3 months since I ordered the item, but 2 of those three months it has sat in the distribution center. Not right.Update: its been a few more months. Still no package.

Nobody answers the phone at all, my package has been sitting here for days with no update other than it’s arriving late. Looking at the reviews from others, seems to me like they’re doing a terrible job. I’ve never been this frustrated over a package.

Oak Creek is the largest choke point I have ever had to deal with. My girlfriend and I live across the country from one another and have to use mailing services to get one another things. To put it in perspective; Weve sent gifts to one another which usually end up going through Oshkosh, these take about 4 days from Wisconsin to Texas and vis versa even during Christmas. This time on a normal summer week during June, she sent me something. It has been almost a week now. 2 days ago the package arrived in Oak Creek and has been stated to be in transit to destination. Last night the expected delivery was 9pm. I woke up in the morning expecting at least an update, but no. Its 12:13am and no update or anything. It seems to me the package is stuck. I get you may have a lot of packages to go through, but this is literally your job.

My package arrived a week ago at this facility and they still have not accepted it or shipped out. Called to ask and the customer service rep didnt have an answer besides it takes a while. I could have driven to Georgia and back in the time that the package has been in Oak Creek, 5 minutes from me, awaiting processing. Avoid anything that processes through UPS in this area, use another carrier for your parcel and ask them if they will transfer to UPS. Dont let them, unless youre ok with paying for expedited shipping and then still waiting 2 weeks.

I cringe everytime I see a package was sent to the Oak Creek Distribution Center. Its a postal purgatory.

Your auto generated help line is one of the worst processes I’ve ever encountered in my life and I’d rather be cold called by a robo call than to ever have to deal with your “bozo-like” process. Absolutely terrible process.

2 packages delivered there yesterday, 1 got scanned there at 6pm and is still sitting there, the other scanned there at 11pm and was in my p.o box by 9am this morning... get your act together oak creek

USPS absolutely horrible. Package stuck at Oak Creek location for 3 WEEKS! After waiting 2+ hrs for call-back, USPS call center could do nothing, and refused to provide Oak Creek tel. #. When I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, I was promptly disconnected. Starting over now...

Ordered package, everything going smooth...then it happens. Package arrives at the Oak Creek USPS distribution center...now package sits sadly wondering when it’ll be home safe with me. Sad.

I’ve been waiting almost a month now for my forever 21 package. It’s just sitting here, with no new tracking information. I’m so frustrated!

This lady that answered the phone sounded miserable, very rude for no reason lmao... And the first 2 times I called.. the phone obvious got picked up then hung up immediately on purpose... Fair warning to anyone who has a package sent to Oak Creek, WI.. and only there... Your package will take forever to process.. IDK what goes on there but seeing that they have articles and news videos about how bad the postal service is ... I wish you luck . Very nervous Ill never get my package.

Horrible place this place needs to be shut down they take forever to ship out packages I orderd somthing on February 10 and it was supposed to arrive to me in colorado on the 15th it’s now the 26th and it’s still in oak creek transit this place is horrible

9 minutes agoThis location is disappointing. Probably the worst of any others. Items are constantly delayed. Im 100% sure when USPS needs to collect my shipping costs theres never a delay. USPS needs to add to their shipping receipt--- we guarantee a delay and we dont care! They dont even deserve one star. How much sense does it make to raise costs but the customer service goes down. The consumers are the reason you guys are working yet you treat them the worst! If you can get USPS on the phone they will tell you your items are en route when their just sitting at the terminal collecting dust. Can we please boycott these people and get a corporation in there who actually care about their reputation and customers. I dont understand how this is our countrys postal service but its the absolute worst! USPS can kiss my....USPS really stands for unobtainable shipping of packages and services. 😡

My package was sent with other two from Puerto Rico. My mom’s and aunt where delivered from another USPS. Somehow..... mine is still stuck in the one from Oak Creek, I am trying to call and speak with someone and the recorded voice is telling me the waiting time for assistance over the phone is about an hour....! Yesterday the update said it was going to be delivered Monday, August 3 by 8pm and now it says that is in transit.... who does this?! Why do that? My apartment is just 20 minutes away! Come on.... at least let me pick my package up!

This might be one of the worst run post offices in the country. Everything gets stuck here for a few days or more and sometimes even lost. My paychecks have to be sent in the mail at the moment and they have been showing up 1-2 weeks late, this is unacceptable. This office needs a complete overhaul.

I have a package sitting for 5 days at the oak creek distribution center and they can’t track it because it came from another country. They say I need a USPS tracking number. Well it went from across the world to you and now it’s stuck and there is nothing they can do about it. Worst customer service ever!

Paying extra for 2 day shipping is a waste of money if it goes through Oak Creek, Wisconsin distribution Center!! 9 days my package sat in this place, horrible, horrible service!! All because the new US Postal guy DeJoy cut workers, overtime and machines so there you have it---am looking into the other shipping companies and it is worth paying more for better service!! This is by far the worst delay I have ever experienced in moving mail in 10+ years of shipping packages for my 4 websites. I have sent thousands of packages around the world and never have I had a delay and non-response as this place. Just so you know I usually only have positive things to say about the post office.

I’m getting the worst run around with my package being stuck here. Was first told my package was on a truck in Minnesota on its way to its destination in Montana. Gave it a few days and it didn’t show up so I opened a case, immediately the tracking updated and it’s still in the same place it started in Oak Creek, WI. Opened another case and tracking updates that it’s left the origin facility! Nope, 4 days later it’s still there: 2 weeks and multiple scans later trying to avoid telling me it’s lost. Put the package on the truck and quit lying. My tools that put food on the table are in that package. In 2 weeks time the original shipper could have picked the package back up and sent it through a different service but no the post office would rather hold it hostage. Uncalled for during these times. I understand being swamped with work, I don’t stand for being lied to.

This post office is the worst. Yes, it is the distribution center and all things go through here and they have had many employees out with covid, but they need to adjust for that-its been almost a year with this disease. Packages sit for weeks in this location.

I went in to ship a bunch of packages around noon and it was the best experience I’ve had at a post office. The workers were very friendly and personable and the line went very quick!

It’s hard to believe a package can come from China and get through customs faster than it takes Oak Creek to deliver it. Still waiting!

My order was delivered the morning after I got the notification that it had left the Oak Creek facility-- and 2 days earlier than expected! It was a gift, and after reading all the bad reviews, I was worried it wouldnt arrive it in time. Very thankful and happy!

This post office is great. Always helps me ship packages domestic and international. Never had a bad experience.All the bad reviews must come from Oak Creek being a big hand off point for UPS, FedEx, etc and packages getting stuck listed as in Oak Creek. Because this post office is my favorite in the Milwaukee area by far. Plenty of parking and quick to use even when busy.

Terrible no customer service. My first class package has been sitting there for a week and they have not unloaded the container. i asked what if was medicine and got the answer. Thats too bad no wonder the Post Office is going under. Ups and FedEx do not seem to have the virus problems the P.O. claims.No help when you call someone all you get is we are sorry and they are right they are a very sorry service.

Always late. Never has accurate updates available on the tracking app. Package can sit in one facility close to delivery for days before it’s even delivered. I try hard to avoid anything that is being delivered by USPS but sometimes it’s unavoidable. If you need something by a certain date don’t count on it. It will always be late. Never had an item delivered on time or quickly with USPS

Awful...it has been 3 weeks and my package has not moved. As soon as a package hits Oak Creek USPS it just stops or gets lost. Good luck calling, customer service is terrible

The USPS tracking stated it was at the Oak Creek, WI distribution center location, then stated it was in transit and moving through the USPS facilities with an expected delivery of today. It stated that for 5 days. My package still said it was arriving today, then I get a new update that it just left the Oak Creek, WI facility. So those other updates were bogus. From the comments, I now know why.

Oak creek is the postal bottleneck of the USA

I have 5 packages from different companies(childrens place, old navy, barnes and noble) that have been sitting at this location for the past 2 weeks. I havent bothered calling. According to the reviews theres no point in calling. I dont understand why my packages get stalled at this location. As soon as my tracking number hits this location everything stops. No updates, no estimated delivery....nothing. Very unprofessional.

I got Nike clothing item, small package. The last scan was at Oak Creek USPS and I never received the package and the scan was never updated after nearly 3 weeks.Nike customer service had to open investigation for lost package.A lot of questions are raised for the service at this USPS

Worst PO ever! My package, to be delivered to Cedarburg, WI, has been sitting in the Oak Creek, WI office since June 30, 2020. It is now August 3, 2020. I cant get a person on the phone to help me. I have talked with UPS who can verify it is in Oak Creek for USPS delivery and I have talked to Cedarburg several times and they have assured me they have not received the package to deliver. This service is deplorable. I understand some delay due to COVID, but this is unacceptable.

Package arrived at Oak creek location 2/11/2020 and it was supposed to be delivered 2/14/2020.. same issue I had a year ago with them holding packages for several days and there dispute was that my package was too small so they mislooked it. Now I have been on hold for an hour and still no live person. i am not sure why my packages keep going through oak creek location but I wish i can opt out with my stuff going through them because they are not doing their jobs properly. Wish no stars was an option..

Never had a priority box delivered within the stated timeframe for priority boxes. Boxes sit at the Oak Creek processing center no less than 2 days. Very poor service!

I had 4 packages from 3 different companies all arrived in the Oak Creek Post Office on Thursday, Friday and Monday of 4th of July weekend. 3 of the 4 were delivered 2 weeks later. Still waiting on the 4th package. What is up with everything getting stalled on Oak Creek? I emailed Customer Service and got a very generic (were sorry, blah, blah, covid, blah, blah, were still sorry).

Dude. Dropped off 3 packages at this location a week ago.2 of those packages got to their destination, the last one says its just in the pre shipment stage. What... I printed labels for all of these. They probably have some thieves at this location

Why does so much mail get stuck (jammed up) at the oak creek distribution center.

Seems that anything that lands in Oak Creek consistently ends up delayed . This is my third delay the package sits in Oak Creek for a minimum of 6 days . Had a package shipped from Ohio, arrived in one day and will not be delivered to Lake Geneva for at least 6 more days . Have another that has been there from Texas for 2 days and will not be delivered till the 21st . If you send any USPS First Class thru this facility it will not be delivered on time . You can call, you can email, you will receive no response that explains or will improve service . Who ever runs this facility should be fired as this is not a new problem with this service facility.Oak Creek to Lake Geneva = 57 miles .Updated Review 01/30/19I have improved my star to 4 on this rating .The service has really improved from this facility in the last month . All my recent packages have been delivered timely . In my opinion, whatever the changes that have been implemented at this facility seem to be working . There is also a improved customer service functionality as if you send a email inquiry you will receive a response.

I sent a large flat rate priority package from Bend, Oregon on 7/21/2020 to Hartland, WI. Package still has not been delivered as of 8/18/2020. Was told there are 20+ trucks at the Oak Creek distribution center waiting to be unloaded. Inexcusable!!

I was efficiently and courteously served every time I have been there. When I had a particular problem with an item in international mail they worked with me until it was solved. Well done.

Worst customer service ever!! A woman Rachel was very rude and unhelpful over the phone! It’s the pandemic and someone is opening up and keeping my mail for a business account and she could not care less and did not help me at all I’m the end. Waste of time. Lazy Government workers.

Not sure why this place has TERRIBLE stars.. This one is my FAVORITE USPS go to go. I dont even go to the one on S 27th st anymore because it seems like the staff at that location is always moody... My 2nd favorite place is the one on Greenfield next to City Hall.Back to my feedback. I usually go to this location frequently to send out mail for business purposes. Any questions I have or concerns, the staff here is ALWAYS so helpful and so kind. Thats why I keep coming back because the service here is spot on.The stuff I typically come with is boxes that need tracking and shipment. Or yellow packages that need tracking and shipment. NEVER had issues here in the past year and will continue to come here since its super close to work which is located in Franklin.

I live in Denver and sent a birthday present home to Wisconsin. The package was delayed, so I emailed USPS to see where it was in transit. The delivery of this package is 6 days past what it should have been, mainly due to the fact that it was stuck in Denver for most of the time.This post office has called me 4 times now and left 2 emails updating me everyday on where my package is. I even received the nicest apology email Ive ever seen from any customer service team. The delay clearly was not their fault, but they went way above and beyond to make sure they kept me updated about my package and to represent their company in a positive way.Kudos to everyone at the Oak Creek post office! Thank you for the amazing customer service. I work in e-commerce and know plenty of post offices that I work with who could take a few notes from these guys. Thanks again!

I too am getting frustrated with Oak Creek, WI USPS. My package has been here for over a week, sitting... I cant get ahold of anyone by phone. I live an hour and a half away and Im thinking of just driving down there myself.

I come to this post office almost daily and I am in and out in under 10mins all the time. Also Very friendly people willing to help out.

3 of my packages never got delivered. Assuming they went to the wrong address since the dummies can’t read the correct address.

I have two envelopes sitting there for two weeks now. Not the first time. What am I supposed to tell MY customers??

They lost an order which I mailed priority, using professional, printed labels, and its in a 10 x 10 x 8 box!How do you lose something that big? Not the first time something vanished in their care. They better start taking a more critical look at some of their employees, because something isnt right about this.

One of the better Post Offices Ive been to, I work for the USPS, and they generally seem very professional.

I went to the post office to mail some cards out to friends. I went there specifically to make sure I had the right postage on the cards because some were a little heavier than others. I handed them to the guy and he put the appropriate postage on it, or so I thought. Now I’m getting cards back in the mail saying there was not enough postage. If this guy can’t do his simple job then he should be replaced. Now I have to wait and see if more cards are returned to me. It’s a waste of my money and time. If this guy can’t do his job then replace him with someone who can. I’ll never use this post office again! Now I see why it has such horrible reviews.

A package was lost after being switched from ups, so we had to call to figure out where it was. John here was absolutely wonderful. 10/10 - would lose package again.

While their website said passports could be processed there on walk in visits, there was a poster outside the office stating that appointments were required instead. The staff refused to honor the service as indicated in their website even though it is USPS fault for the misinformation. This offices staff was not interested in accommodating my request or accepting accountability for something the customer has no control of. The office is also very understaffed.

2 weeks with no updates.

They lost a very special live plant that was sent out priority on 10/07/2017 tracking number and all and they still cant tell me where it is. My tracking says its in Beaver Dam wi however when I went to my local post office here in Beaver dam they told me the last place it was scanned was oak creek wi and they must have put it in the wrong bin. Well what is the point of tracking your priority mail if its inaccurate information to begin with? according to my tracking it went from oak creek to prortage wi sorting facility to beaver dam. But according to USPS this isnt true my package never arrived at these locations. Needless to say by the time I get my plant it will most likely be D.O.A. due to Monday being a holiday it will have been in the mail for two weeks .

If I could i would leave a MINUS Negative 5 stars! I have a package sitting at this facility since Jan 28th (today is Feb 8th). I finally called this distribution center today only to have the lady who picked up the phone simply hang up on me. This place needs to hire new employees who are willing to do their job.

Fed Ex gets me my package that is ordered same day 2 days from Maryland to Wisconsin. United States Postal Service gets other 1/2 of order same day dame time- Package is 90 miles away from my house and they say it will take 5 days to get to me. 5 days come and go and they miss the date. So will be 2 days later delivered on Monday instead of Saturday. I needed the package and now will be gone for 1 week and I will miss the package. Whats my recourse?- I have none they are the USPS and are guaranteed work even if they miss commitment dates and do a terrible job of getting you something way later than the competition. I would give you less than one star but cant. I end up 40 minutes on hold as well when I call to see what is going on. USPS is the worst.

The people that work here are always friendly and super helpful even when I have something complicated. they never rush me or are rude to me and are willing to help me figure out the best way to mail/ship my items. this is also a great location because they have later nightly hours and are open on saturdays unlike most of the other usps locations around this area.

Twice within the last month my packages have been sitting at Oak Creek. This is completely unacceptable!!!! Why is this such a problem at this post office??? Doesnt matter how big or small the item is ship it out!!

Ive had nothing but good service out of this location. Most of the reviews seems to actually apply to the postal sorting facility also in Oak Creek, but this postal location can hardly be blamed since they have no control over that sorting facility. I had no trouble obtaining my passport, nor have I had any trouble getting any packages or other mail.

I opened a PO Box here and 12 days after my change of address took effect, after talking to the PO Box guy, and being told they kept an eye on my box to ensure I get mail since I havent received anything, I received a bunch of mail for the business who has the box next to me. I, too, use this for my business. I received money from my clients here. I receive letters from courts. I need to know my mail will come to me and not the person one box over. If this happens after theyre keeping an eye on it what happens when they dont?

USPS in Oak Creek....They literally send my packages to the wrong address nearly every time. Sometimes they send it to just the wrong suite number with same address...and sometimes even to random addresses miles away. They have about a 50% accuracy rate with me for sending my packages to the right address. And to contact them... you will be on hold for 1-2 hours on average typically. Shopping online is becoming more of a hassle than going to a store now a days since receiving packages is always a really long ordeal of figuring out where my stuff is and how to get it.
