Ive been a member of OC Fitness for a number of years and never have I encountered a more accommodating staff. They make it a point to get know their members and do an amazing job of communicating gym happenings. The facility is clean and the equipment enables all clients to achieve their fitness goals whether youre a novice or experienced lifter. If you do make it a point to make OC Fitness your gym home I strongly suggest asking for Tim upon your arrival. His professional attitude and overall fitness knowledge will be hard to find anywhere else in the area.

Clean facility, friendly staff. They address client concerns well and in a timely way. The clientele there is very encouraging, too. Its a great culture that they facilitate for people wanting to improve their health and well being.

Very Outdated, no good air circulation or conditioning, they have Fans, bathrooms are clean but super old as well, carpet in the locker rooms. The trainer (short guy) that’s always there is a hot head and keeps watching you like your going to steal the weights. Plus he’s not even big. On top of that they advertise 10 dollars on the window, but charged me 39.99 a month, I just canceled and didn’t even bother asking why

I have been coming to this gym for 3 years.Pros:- Never too busy after work- Most of the people that work their are friendly (I almost always am greeted when arriving and leaving)- Free fitness classes- Tina, for Body Pump, is friendly and supportive of new people (like me)- Trey, for Zumba, is the same as Tina. Made me feel welcome in my first class and made sure I understood what I was doing.- Good weight range for dumbbells (5 lbs - 100 lbs)- Kettlebells- New equipment is purchased periodically to either replace the old or add new things (like the kettlebells).Cons:- Not enough floor space for core work, stretching, pushups, etc.- Still manageable- When fitness classes are not in session, the class room can be used and it has TONS of space.- No resistance bands available (not sure how common it is for these to be offered in gyms)- No track (so I do sprints outside)

I’m a trucker who is big into fitness. I was surprised to see a gym so close to a truck stop as I don’t normally see that. I had some down time so I decided to get a workout in. The gym has everything you need to get a great workout in. And at $9 for a guest pass, the price is reasonable. If my company sends me to this area more often, I will be purchasing the monthly membership for $10(veteran). I would recommend all truckers to make a stop here when you are in town.

OCF is perfectly small and comfortable and has a good amount of machines/free weights. Its never crowded and is always clean in there. Dr. Ken is very smiley and polite too. Glad to call OCF my gym!

Dr Cody is wonderful. After trying multiple other therapies and treatments prior to being a patient of Dr. Cody, I can say with confidence that his treatment was the most effective. He is also a very nice guy with great bedside manners.

Great gym with no pretense. You’re comfortable on day one. Tim is the real deal as a trainer. Top notch, friendly and able to adjust to suit every need. I’ve been with him a year and notice the difference. He pushes and encourages, and I’ve never been left with the soreness I used to get when trying to map out a plan on my own. Highly recommend getting a consult and getting started. Tim’s personalized fitness and diet advice make change possible ... all you have to do is stick to the script.

The manager Tim is a very rude person, treating customers with a bad attitude,he didnt let me bring a friend to see the Zumba class,he told me the rules but in a very awful way,i dont appreciate to be treated like that because I paid a membership too,he couldnt be working with customers if he dont know how to talk to people,very nasty attitude

Nice little gym. Would like to see two squat racks instead of one. I dont think the Smith machine gets much use to be honest. Also the treadmills are very narrow, cannot swing arms comfortably for a natural running or walking motion. Excellent staff and trainers though! Tim knows his stuff when it comes to building strength.

I have been training with Tim for about a year and a half and I love it. I’ve never stuck to a regimen as long as I have while working out with Tim. He pushes me, gives me the resources I need to be successful, and is empathetic and understands we are human and that reaching a goal is not a linear journey. I have had the best experience so far and can’t wait to get back to it when the gym reopens! 💪

If you’re looking for a gym I can’t recommend it enough. All of the staff and all the members are friendly and welcoming. The gym, locker room, and equipment is always clean. Tim is a great guy and a fun and knowledgeable trainer. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here, would recommend to anyone from my grandma to my little sister. Amazing gym with an amazing staff. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming. There are free weights, machines, classes, and many other services. They even have supplements and shakes for sale! The bathrooms and showers were ALWAYS clean. I think its a great environment that really helps people reach their goals and change their lives. The personal training was life changing.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK INFORMATION!!!!! So my roommate and I shared a bank account for a short while and he signed up for this gym after having a couple bad experiences with gyms charging his card after he quit, so when signing up he asked this gym, how easy is it to cancel, will you keep charging my account if I havent been in in months? their answers were it is easy and no we wont. Well after attempting to cancel 4 separate times the account was still getting charged, by this time my roommate was no longer sharing the account with me. I stopped keeping money in the account for various reasons and soon started receiving automated calls from the gym to update my account information, there was no way to talk to a person. By this time my roommate had not been to the gym in over 5 months. Two months later I called them myself in an attempt to get them to stop calling me and possibly return the money they had charged me for the months after my roommate had quit. They said someone would call me back the next day. No one ever did. Now more than 8 months later, I get a large refund from my school and all of a sudden 116 dollars are pulled out by none other that oak creek fitness!!!!!!! Now at this point any other business would have sent the past due payment out for collections so that the debt company could take care of it, they would NOT directly pull out the money because the account is so far past due. Now when I call them up demanding that they return my money as not only had their client not been there in months but the money they had taken did not belong to him anyway, they tell me that not only is no one there who could possibly help me but there is no one who can even attempt to resolve this illegal act of stealing my money until Monday. If they dont call me then I swear Im calling the cops. These guys should be shut down for fraud and theft.

Oak Creek fitness is a great place to work out and Tim is an excellent trainer. He takes into account the goals you are looking to achieve and tailors the workouts and nutrition to help you meet those goals. He is very friendly and personable and pushes you to give your best at all times. He has a wealth of knowledge and is always willing to share that knowledge and answer any questions.

I have been going there for a little over a month, and working with the personal trainer Ryan. The gym itself is very clean, along with the restroom and shower area. The equipment is in great shape and the gym is usually busy but not overly crowded. i would highly recommend it for those of any age, I am almost 70 and totally out of shape and I have never felt uncomfortable working out among those that are physically fit. Kudos to the entire staff for the welcoming atmosphere. I NEVER thought I would be one to say I enjoy working out, but Ryan has made it fun and exciting.

I was working out in group fitness programs 5 – 6 days per week that were mainly cardio and some resistance/weight work. I’d been doing this for a few years and was seeing no more results and I was also no longer motivated by the program. I have always been intrigued and interested in working with a personal trainer, but was afraid to make the investment. I was seeing other’s results and excitement with their training programs and knew it was time to step up and try it.I refused to weigh myself during the first month of training with Tim, but I could see some differences in my body and was feeling stronger and more energetic. I was so excited to hear that I had lost weight and body fat! Working with Tim, I’m realizing that I can push myself harder and farther than I ever thought I could, or would have done on my own. It’s so empowering to feel yourself get stronger and healthier in such a short period of time and have him encouraging me along the way!Every workout with Tim is different than the workout before. I love his creativity and each workout challenges me in new and exciting ways, mentally and physically. It’s great to have him ensure that I am doing the exercises correctly and with proper form. This is especially important for me because I have back issues due to degenerated discs and leg height differences. I always have fun and during our training, and he takes the time to talk with me about nutrition and fitness. This gym is great. Wheather you are just begining or if you are more advanced they have it all. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The personal trainer Tim is very helpful and if has a spare moment is willing to help or just listen to a question you may have. I usually am there in morning when they open so its not very busy. I have had to go at the evening time between 4-6 and was still able to get my workout done with in a hour. I would recommend this place to anyone. I know the offer classes for free I have never done one but have yet to hear a complaint about it. Try it out you will not be disappointed.

My midlife journey back to fitness started in April 2918. For years I went to another big local gym and took classes and enrolled in Biggest Loser programs, Boot Camps, tried Weight Watchers, hired big gym trainers, etc. I was still overweight, frustrated and fearful of a future with health problems. It was downright depressing. My oldest daughter and her now husband had worked with OCF Personal Trainer Tim Wermeling for awhile at this point and achieved great success with his guidance - and their perseverance. They inspired me to give getting healthy a real try with a REAL trainer. Best thing I’ve done for myself in more than 10 years! I committed to working with Tim twice weekly for three months. I really wanted this investment to work. Tim is an expert craftsman when it comes to getting folks stronger, healthier and as a result into a better frame of mind. Not quite two years later I’m about 18 pounds leaner - and a much stronger and better version of myself. As a Rideshare driver (Lyft, Uber) I had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Scott during a drive he requested. While engaging in general conversation, it became obvious that his chiropractic knowledge and training could help treat a lower back issue. This was close to two years ago. Intense initial treatment and occasional follow up treatments have freed me of movement-restrictions and pain.The entire staff is very friendly and provide individual attention as I’ve experienced and observed.

Staff is great, the place is clean, it is cheap, and there is ample parking with a great location off the freeway. The only complaint I have is outdated machines and a ton of space for freeweights. Clientele seems to be the same as a place like Xperience, maybe a little better. Expect people to take over your machine, not clean equipment when they are done, and occasionally not put weights back.

Owner, Tim, is super rude. Not welcoming at all. If you are not his client you might as well kick sand. He doesnt follow his own rules if a client is working out. Tim is not helpful even for a quick spot so you dont get injured. Take your time and money elsewhere.

Ryan has really helped me. In the past 2 years I went from having breast cancer to having surgery plus radiation to two other surgeries and then last year developing pneumonia. Pneumonia lasted for over 6 months. I had gained weight due to being on steroids for the pneumonia and lack of activity. In the last 2 months Ryan has worked with me I lost 10 pounds and he has help me gain strength. I feel great and am so glad I have Ryan to help me!

Nice place for a quick workout session the trainers are very responsive. The space is very limited however since there is not much crowd you will find the weights you are looking for in addition there is yoga and other classes in the evening which is good

In 2008 I had a heart attack and was diagnosed as diabetic. I lost 60 pounds and started a walking regime. Six years later I had gained back 20 pounds and my exercise program was no longer keeping my blood sugar in line. That’s when I spotted the sign at Oak Creek Fitness Center that offered membership to seniors for only $10 per month. The trainer, Ryan Norton gave me a tour and I signed on that same day. I was impressed with the cleanliness, range of equipment, and diversity of members (gender, age, ethnicity, and skill level). The atmosphere is warm and friendly and I especially like being greeted by name each time I come in. It makes me feel welcomed and valued.For the first few months I stumbled around trying one piece of equipment after another and avoiding the dumbbells and squat rack entirely. It’s no surprise that I wasn’t getting any results. With great trepidation I inquired about working with a trainer. I steeled myself for a high pressure sales pitch. Much to my delight and relief Ryan explained the costs and program options in plain straightforward language … no slick tactics, no pressure. But could I afford it? After much deliberation I figured I had two options. I could be proactive and take a preventative approach and lose weight, strengthen my heart and find a new exercise program to reduce my blood sugar levels OR I could keep doing the same things that got me into trouble to begin with and pay even more money to doctors and drug companies. It was a no brainer.I signed up for a six month program with Ryan. The results were so good I signed up for another year! Working with a trainer is the best investment I have ever made. I am in better shape now at 67 than I was in high school. I weigh less, am stronger, have increased my endurance and have more energy.Ryan custom designs a program to fit my abilities, skills and goals. He uses an amazing variety of exercises to keep workouts from becoming routine or boring. Who would have known there were so many ways to do a squat? He encourages, challenges and motivates me to do more than I ever thought possible. And Ryan does all this with a grand sense of humor. Getting the giggles while breaking a sweat … can’t think of a better prescription for good health.
