So far so good! This is my first time at this location it was very welcoming. This planet fitness is many of the 20 that I will be going back to more. This location ask me to do something that as a company many places need but because of my religion they respected me and said dont worry. Thats the kind of customer service I love. I’ve been to this location 6 times. I had five phenomenal experiences. I only have one not so great experience. I will say that Stephanie at the front desk is amazing and accommodating. I will include that after my not so great experience, I received a call from the owner. They went above and beyond to make right the situation. As a result I am changing my review. Not only did he address one of my concerns. He addressed all. Alex did a phenomenal job. This is Customer Service at its finest

Very big, clean, and nice facility to work out in.

Equipment is fine and well spread out for the pandemic, but one of the day shift employees is more concerned with my soon expiring card and asking me to download the PF app every time I login with bar code/phone number. At the end of the day theyre a business making money, but when Ive never missed a payment I dont like being bothered with download this unnecessary app and are you sure you can even pay???? every 48hours when Im in. Its pretty insulting.

I wish the employees would actually work instead of sitting on top of the back counter texting all day. Im the first to initiate a have a great day while leaving and all I get back is a thanks.

Ive been going to this location for a little over a year now. When I first started going, it was excellent. Obviously, during the pandemic it had to close. When it reopened, they were on top of it and doing excellent again. However, over the past three months the place has gone down hill BIG TIME! I go 5-6 times a week, at different times during the day. Everytime I go, the people working the front desk are not welcoming, they are on their phones, not even paying attention to people as they walk in. Additionally, on a good day, there may be 3 working TVs. The past three weeks, there was about 8 that were not turned on, or on the xfinity home screen, and god forbid if you ask the staff to help fix the problem as they roll their eyes and scuff at having to actually do some work. Makes a three hour run on the treadmill that much harder. Next, it is on a daily basis that I see people taking off their shoes to work out. Who takes their shoes off at the gym? Again, the people behind the desk never walk around to check on things, so I go up to the desk and ask them to tell these people to put their shoes on. Having to put their cellphone down to go do their jobs is like asking them to run a marathon. I get the eye rolls and the stares. Same goes with people wearing their masks. Immediately after reopening, they were on top of this, walking around ensuring people followed the rules. Not anymore. No one walking around, no one enforcing the rules. And do not even get me started on people cleaning their machines. Daily, I watch as people use treadmills, weights, mats and do not clean up after they are done. When I look to the front desk to see if they even notice, it is a NOPE. They have their head down staring at their cell phones.Im in the process of looking at new gyms near me because it has gotten so bad at this location, I can not even work out properly or feel safe from COVID.DO NOT GO HERE

I just want to say that this was the most amazing planet fitness I have ever been too! I travel a lot and been around to many many different planet fitness and this one just stuck out to me more than others! This club was absolutely spotless, the girls at the front desk in the morning were so awesome and so friendly! I even got to talk to the club manager I think his name was Casey and he was very welcoming and seems to be very good at his job thank you novi planet fitness for this wonderful experience I will definitely be returning soon!!

They keep it clean & everyone wears masks. I usually workout around 10pm when its slow. I feel safe there.

They always keep the place spotless and are super friendly! They just replaced the shower curtains and shower heads...needless to say I almost prefer showering here instead of at home💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥

I visited this location with my cousin worst experience I ever got the lady rude for the get go was really welcoming at all. I went this this location because my cousin lives closer to this location but i go to the one in Tory and the one in Sterling Heights and everytime ive had nothing but a wonderful experience I will not be coming back this location I will be sticking by the ones at my house!!!

Everyone here is nice based on my experience. Theyre very much on top of everything when it comes to social distancing and sanitization of equipment.

I usually visit this planet fitness early around 6:00 am and every morning the two young ladies working at the desk are always so amazing, they have great energy for being so early in the morning and they always brighten my mood when walking in they really make you feel welcome. I can’t be the only one who says this

The staff is so friendly that you want to invite them over for dinner with your parents. The gym is so clean that they could perform a liposuction on the flat bench and an employee would be standing there with a power washer and flame thrower sanitizing the area. Is this a planet fitness or the home of an OCD serial killer? Well Ive been going for a while now and even showered there so I think im safe. Keep killing it pf! Not literally killing, but... Continue doing a great job.

They have weights for lifting. I love going here because I like to pick things up and put them down. Plus, purple is my third favorite color!

Just as I expected... its a planet fitness. Clean... good equipment... cleaning stations everywhere. Nice natural light coming in thru the windows.

The staff seem a little distracted when we came in...did not receive the warm welcome Im accustomed to at Planet Fitness.

I have notified the BBB and the state with regard to your business practice.I have not been to your gym since March. I canceled my membership. However, you just processed an annual fee of $29 for the following 12 months knowing that I haven’t been to your gym for past 6 month and that I told your location manager that I’m canceling my membership.

The renovations are nice. But your think after they double their space they would add some more free weights. Low and behold I go in for the first time and there are 50 empty cardio machines and everyone is crammed into the free weights section. Makes absolutely no sense.

This was my first time back since Whitmers unconstitutional lockdown. The layout is much more efficient compared to before pandemic. I like it better. Unfortunately, now the county made a stupid mask law since Whitmers is Void. I dont like exercising with a mask on.

This is my home gym. The people are great and super helpful. You dont feel out of place when youre here. The facility is always well stocked with supplies & clean. I havent had any issues whatsoever when I come here.

I came back after the renovation. Planet Fitness did a nice job. It a beautiful gym. I am glad that my previous negative comment changed something .... Ha ha... You get 5 *****Old comment...Its a nice gym but not great. The shower cabins are standard. Low water pressure and it needs long time to heat up. I mentioned it to the staff but no action. A while ago I asked, if there could be a hair dryer in the bathroom but the staff wasnt very interested to take notes. It meant more work for them. It was just better to sit bored at the desk and chat with each other.

Most of the workers are very nice but I have seen the bald worker with a beard vaping in the bathroom multiple times and being rude to the people and other workers. A chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link.

I used to love coming to this gym. It’s very convenient and close and very clean. However, some things have changed with the renovation to this location. The music is much louder than it used to be. I understand that there’s a new sound system, but I didn’t expect it to be so loud. The bass was so loud and distracting I couldn’t complete my workout. To top it off, the cell phone policy isn’t enforced at all. Someone will be right next to you carrying on a phone conversation, and it’s very distracting as well. I don’t know what kind of atmosphere they’re trying to create at this location, but it’s pretty clear that they don’t want to address these issues when they are brought to their attention.I switched my home gym to another location. The new location does not have any of the issues that the Novi location does. I really wish both the Novi location and corporate would take ownership of the issues I brought up and make steps to resolve them instead of acting like my concerns weren’t that big of a deal to them. Poor customer service all around.

All of my experiences at PF have been great. The staff at this location are super friendly and encouraging, and go above and beyond to help me find classes I need. The locker room and showers have been clean every time Ive gone in, and there are enough machines to go around. Thank you, Planet Fitness! 10/10

I waited a long time to join a gym for various reasons but I heard so many good things about Planet Fitness and its amenities that I had to go visit with my daughter! I was not disappointed and will be joining so that I can also receive the members benefits of discounts and the Hydroponic massage, etc.! Also, the access to a personal trainer is great! Yay!

This is the only PF I was ever in until they closed for this partial renovation. I returned and the music is so loud i cant hear my own music, the equipment is crowded in the small space that is usable, and a number of the machines dont work. Color me less than impressed. The West Bloomfield PF is looking better and better.

I love my Planet Fitness. The staff at the Novi location is unsurpassed by any other staff that I have experienced. The managers, Aaron and Bella, are the nicest and most professional managers that this location has had in the 4 years that I have been a member. They are both always so positive and so friendly. They make a trip to the gym actually enjoyable.

This location is perfectFor me. It’s never to busy and the staff is friendly. Most importantly the equiptment is clean. Even when I have called to ask questions about my contract they have been very nice.

Its good.. Equipment are ample and of very good quality. Basically, the atmosphere over there makes you work out on your body.. You just need to put an effort to be there and the rest will follow. For an update, They have got new equipments last week. My latest update says that some of the newly installed equipments do not function and are out of order..

I really like Novi Planet fitness; its clean, nice staff and a good variety of machines and other equipment. The only thing I do not like is the layout. The workout area with the 360 fitness machine has too many other pieces of equipment in the room! Not enough room for mats to be laid out. I understand that we are allowed to pull things out to other areas, but it seems ridiculous to me when theres a TON of empty space right outside this area; how about moving out the ab machines? I understand corporate rules dictate how the floor should look but the space is not being utilized to its best potential. Still love the club though!

This location has truly AWESOME staff. I like to workout early in the morning after work and I always see a friendly face offering encouragement to have a stellar workout. The space is already huge, but they have purchased an additional 9000 square foot to significantly expand our room for activities. Love Planet Fitness!

Only Planet Fitness I have been to, but it is decently clean, friendly, and has many different workout areas/machines. True to it’s “Judgement-Free Zone”. Could be stocked a little more regularly but overall a great gym for quick workouts throughout the week.

What you would expect from a PF. Some of the equipment is getting tired, but the staff is kind and they have all the right stuff for hitting major muscle groups.I just wish PF focused a little less on all the cardio machines and a little more on the strength training machines. Its hard to find ample space during peak hours as people fight for dumbells and cable machines.

Best staff always a friendly greeting always very helpful and willing to serve. Clean facility, so clean as a matter of fact whenever I need to change my screen protector on my cell phone I do it at this facility...no unwanted particles of dust😀...I have visited other planet fitness in my area and I prefer this facility even though it is not the closest to my house the staff makes all the difference in my work out experience. Well done with the remodel and expansion...thanks for he Halloween fun!

Need more space for mats. 30 minute zone is mostly empty. Cardio and strength spaces are full. People are crammed to use mat for empty space between machines.

Great place for any beginners. Good gym that is kept very clean. Always friendly and helpful staff and very affordable. I would beware for those looking to lift free weights as their dumbbells only go up to 60lb each and only smith machines (guided barbell) are available for safety reasons. Also the lunk alarm is a bit annoying.

FRAUD ALERT!!People at the front desk just talk nice to you. They do not have any knowledge of how the billing works (especially if they are trainers). Please read all the agreement documents carefully and do not rely on what the person at the front desk tells you.

I come to this club very often and I had a problem with some billing and this was the first time this has happened and the manager Casey at planet fitness was absolutely so Kind and did everything he could to figure out a way to make up for this and I felt like he actually cared about this problem and sincerely helped me out!!!

You can go do your workout in peace. The facilities are clean. A couple of the paper towel dispensers on the floor are broken but other than that the equipment is in good repair. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The wifi gets kind of bogged down when its busy. Overall great value for money.

The Planet Fitness -Novi team are absolutely awesome! Aaron is a highly professional and courteous manager who is always willing to help. The Novi team always greets you with a smile. The gym has recently been completely remodeled and significantly expanded. Its always very clean, and Ive never had to wait for any of the equipment.I travel a lot and utilize several PFs and have not seen another location that compares!Keep up the great job!

This wasn’t my ‘home’ club but it was the closest location to my new job so I went regularly from July through September. I ended up terminating my membership with PF because I disliked this location. The staff wasn’t as friendly as other locations in the area and I didn’t find this one to be as clean as others. I also found there to be a perpetual bad odor near the weight area- same odor on multiple visits- so it didn’t appear to be a member so much as a smell that is in the wall or the ceiling. I found a new gym and it’s much, much better.

Ive been working out here since January and it is a great place thats close by! The New Years Resolution rush has died so there are always a good number of exercise machines open now. They also offer classes which I have yet to utilize and Ive run into a few friends here too!

Tried going in today to get more information about the memberships. Really I just had a couple questions being Ive been a member before. I was refused information bc I didnt have time for a tour. I was told I had to take the tour to get info or go online for it. Had the answers to my questions been listed online I wouldnt have wasted time on my lunch break to go in. Way to avoid doing your job!

This gym is always clean, has the best price point in the area and has genuinely friendly staff. They are currently working on adding some new things which Im interested in seeing.I use the black card membership and have never had a problem going to another gym, love the massage chairs and the red light booth. Ive never tanned so cant attest to that!The only thing Ill say is there are basically no free weights here, which aligns well with the PF mentality but can be a downside to people trying to build functional muscles and tone. If you dont know what I mean try doing a squat with and without the guiding rack, theres a huge difference in how much work your muscles actually do!The free bagels and pizza are great too, but really dont help me lose weight.Never had a problem here, but the lack of free weights loses it a star for me. Again, this is standard for all PF locations that I know of. If you are looking for something cheap, clean and friendly I definitely recommend this gym.

Planet Fitness never disappoints and this was a newer facility everything was clean the equipment was in good shape. I did check 1 * off because there were no changing rooms here and this is the first Planet Fitness I have visited without changing rooms.

Have worked out at gyms for years. Now that i am older this place is perfect. Tons of equipment, super clean...the equipment is well maintained...they just got a bunch of new equipment. Cant beat the monthly membership fee.

Novi branch is great always open and friendly. i am not a fan of how small the new locker area is and i really had hoped for some new equipment such as a stretching cage. i dislike the way some of the machines are now set up. I see no reason to speak to a manager as this is a new remodel and doubtful a change will be made on my behalf. I have never liked the music in this facilityStopped in today 04/13/21 as Milford has changed their hours. No employee to be seen garbage needs changing multiple paper towel dispensers empty

It really is easy to feel comfortable here. The staff is friendly and there is a lot of equipment, which makes it easy to do whatever you wanna do even at peak times. Glad we finally joined.

Me and my wife joined back almost 3yrs ago, a week after we joined she ended up passing from a car wreak and was killed. I called there and explained my situation, and let them know I wasn’t in the shape to be going to the gym. I was told no worries it would be canceled because of the situation, and we never had a chance to come in. But was told once I felt up to it, they would have loved to have me come back . So a little over a year went by and I decided it was time to get out of the house i went up and resigned up, was excited, came back a couple of days later to get started working out. That’s when one of the people at the desk explained I would have to pay extra so much towards the first membership, besides the new one. I explained it was supposed to have been canceled, and was told to come back when I was up to it. I explained I even brought up her death certificate, they said that canceled hers but not mine. I was totally shocked, so now they want me to pay for two memberships for my self. I never went back, definitely a rip-off, I really don’t know what else to say, just be careful and get everything in writing. Tom

My goto spot when I have time to workout. Clean facility and friendly staff make it a no brainer on where to go for a work out. New facility has everything you need to stretch, pump, work, run, cycle and accelerate your fitness goals to the next level!

Fun atmosphere and very clean. Both of those are very important to me. The owners always have workout events to keep things interesting.
