The store was able to fix it in 20 minutes and I was blown away by the speed and professionalism.Rather than spend a day at the apple store, this store has now helped fix my iPhone 8 and my parents old school iPad. Plus, I was able to get a warranty with it.I dont typically take the time to write these reviews but I was so pleased. Most importantly: Relieved! Bought 2 screen protectors. The IPhone protector had a spec of dirt under it which the installer said he couldnt see. The Samsung screen protector had to be ordered. When the Samsung protector was installed there was a finger print on the back side of the protector and again the installer said that was supposed to be that way. Cost $99 for both phones. Waste of time and money. I ordered 2 for $15 from Amazon, installed myself and no issues.

They fixed a broken charge port on my sons Galaxy Tab A 10.1. No one else would even attempt the repair, this place didnt have a problem at all, knew where to get the part and how to do it. Quick turnaround, I dropped it off and had it back two days later - for me thats pretty impressive considering I dont think it was the easiest repair and they probably had a lot of other devices to work on ahead of mine. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to on the phone, too. Ill definitely use them again if we need any devices repaired.

What great service. We initially went in because we were having trouble with a data back up issue on an iPhone, they were able to fix it right away. We learned while we were there that not only are they amazing at fixing phone issues, but offer so much more. We watched them demonstrate a new phone screen protector as they hammered away on the screen...it never broke! They were also were able to get me the phone that I wanted and had it at the store the same day! They offer so much more than phone repair. I recommend stopping in!

Brought phone in for a screen repair. That was done quickly and worked well, hence the two stars. From there it’s all downhill.While my screen was fixed, they broke the home button. I was told they’d order a new one and contact me when it came. Three weeks, no phone calls from them, but multiple calls by me, I still don’t have a working home button.I finally went to the store and was ‘promised’ that he was ordering one today and it will be here tomorrow.Unprofessional and unresponsive. We’ll see if they come through tomorrow.

I brought my 3 year old Iphone 7+ that I dropped in the Huron River in Ann Arbor. They have done marvelous work on replacing a cracked screen on my Iphone 6+ before. My iphone wasnt fixable this time but Josh gave it his best and honest effort.

This is, without a doubt, the best phone repair shop I have ever been to(and Ive been to a LOT). The owner was friendly and personable, and the wait time was short. Im super excited that I found this place! I recently ran into issues trying to install an S9+ screen protector so I stopped in for my first time today to get some help. I was kindly greeted by Jason and Rob who took the time to help educate me and install a screen protector. I could tell that they genuinely wanted to help me out and make sure I was satisfied versus trying to flip a quick buck which I respect. I was pleasantly delighted with the top notch and honest customer service. I will ONLY go to this store from now on for my screen guards and repair needs. Storefront was also clean, inviting, and organized. Wish I found them a few months ago when my fiance cracked her iPhone. Went to a competitors store across the street and the woman we dealt with was rude and clearly did not value our time, business, or money.

The phone clinic is still okay to go to for repairs but the pod drop was MUCH better and the man who owned the store as the pod drop was way more intelligent and had better deals for repairs

Robert and Jason are VERY helpful and patient. My iPhone 6 was so dead after a drop... Jason showed me what was damaged and answered all my questions. He spent a lot of time try to save the phone but it was too damaged and not worth the cost to continue trying. They didnt try to charge me a lot of money despite the work hes done on it. Just a small diagnostic fee which is also much cheaper than other stores Ive contacted. I needed some documents and they also provided to me. All the interactions were easy and clear. The store is well organized and they make customized phone cases onsite which is pretty cool. Id recommend them for sure.

There is no competition on where to go to get your glass fixed. Robert & Jason somehow make the entire broken screen experience not so bad, so if you need help go see them.A true local small business, these guys are transparent as they come and I always leave the store with new knowledge on how to take care of my phone, and of course a good as new phone. The fact that these guys have by far the best price in town is the icing on the cake.

This happened almost two years ago: I was originally happy with my iPhone5 screen replacement, until the screen started popping out of the case. They offered to replace it on warranty, they said the reason it popped out because the frame was bent (skepticism intensifies). I asked them if we could get a new frame as well and was more than happy to pay for it. They said they would call me back when it was in stock. 3 weeks later without a call, I called them. They said it would be a few more days. The next day, surprise! they had one for me. So I brought it in and they did the thing. The case they replaced it with was very sub-par. Looked beat up. Whatever, my phone worked. At least for a while. Suddenly it started to boot-loop, seems like an issue with the battery connection. Sadly I dont have the patience for them to fix it anymore. Wasted $150 on trash hardware and left with a broken phone. Havent been since, never going again and suggesting people stay away.@Robert, Of course the phone is out of date now. I actually havent even touched the phone at all since it was *serviced* by you two years ago since you effectively broke it. Its in the exact same condition it was in the week you gave it back: boot looping and unusable. Scratches on the frame is because you gave me a clearly used an crappy frame. The bentframe that was replaced looked much better than what it was replaced with. I was simply updating my review so that there is a testament to the reason I rated one star. I have since upgraded to a new iPhone and it is in pristine condition even after a year and a half. You will never see that one. Its also interesting that you gloss over the fact that your service was subpar, having me wait several weeks without any contact or urgency in order to complete warranty work. You should really read the google business response guidelines; they specifically tell you not to do everything youve done in your reply. You seem very unprofessional with such a dismissive and personal reply.

I dont normally write reviews for everything, but I have to for the Pod Drop. I had a cracked iPhone 7 screen and they had it fixed at a fair price in around 30min, no appointment necessary. They even threw in a tempered glass screen protector free. Will definitely be using them in the future (hopefully I dont have to though!) and recommending them to friends. Avoid the dreaded trip to the Apple store! The Pod Drop is friendly, fast, and efficient. Very pleased.

My son and I were greeted immediately. The owner, I believe gave my son a candy cane of M&M’s. Offered me coffee! Then offered my son chips and a drink. Took my galaxy s5 here because the screen broke and blacked out, they replaced it within an hour. Super friendly to me and my 2 year old son. Reasonably priced. This place is amazing my phone completely broke and won’t work i took it to a local shop by my house they said they couldnot fix it and that they didn’t know what’s wrong that made me upset because i thought i wound be able to get all my things from my iphone back but my friend told me to go here and they were right they fixed it right away knew what the problem was and were able to give me a well functioning phone and i couldn’t be happier also the service here is great and such a great and friendly environment i highly suggest going her for electronic needs they are amazing and will definitely be going here from now on if i break my phone again!!!

Took my chromebook in because it would not turn on or charge. The employee spent 45 minutes with me, checking things over. Finally it was decided that I have a faulty battery. He did not have one in stock but reset my computer so it would charge and I was able to turn it on. The final bill...zero! What a great business. Would definitely recommend.

I had a screen replacement performed on my IPhone 6 a few months back. Found I had paid way too much, the install was sloppy, and as a result caused my screen to lift. My device was unable to power on (red screen of death). My contacts and photos were not backed up, I was miserable. I decided to take a long shot, and contact The Pod Drop of Novi. I spoke with a man on the phone who immediately identified my problem, seemed incredibly knowledgeable, and told me to stop in so he could take a look. I did and I couldnt be happier, he explained everything in lingo I could understand. And within 5 minutes, my proximity sensor was properly installed, my screen was actually sealed like it should have been the first time. It was such an amazing experience..
