Mall looks and feels pretty clean these days. Had to visit Apple store and they had their own security to keep the lines appropriate which I like. About one in ten are not wearing masks properly for patrons, but better than a lot of places in Michigan. Been coming here since I was a baby. Still one of the better malls in the south east Michigan.

I am so disappointed I came in trying to get help with my daughter iPhone she had trouble signing on her phone when we got there no one assist us we walk in I had an appointment I Know not to come to an Apple store with out an appointment I walk up to the associate he was rude he told me to wait I was in the right spot I did then this lady came up to me I told her that my daughter couldnt get into her phone she didnt want to help me she told me it would be a waist of time if she tried to help I told her maybe if we can use an Apple device at the store it would probably help she handed me the phone and I put my daughter info on and her old iPad showed up on her account that was the issue it was fix I figured it out on my own the point is I had an appointment they didnt see me in their system and she really did not want to help I was so disappointed that I didnt ask for her name I just wanted out of that store if you dont know send someone over who do know if you dont like your job and like helping customers dont get a customer service job period. I also want to say treat people the way you wanted to be treated.

I go through a LOT of iPhones, and I typically have a bad experience with the Apple sales staff. HOWEVER, Michael was absolutely wonderful. Extremely helpful. With the new “grouping of customers” format, he was working with me and 3 other customers and I was in and out in under an hour, including all of the restoring and backup time. Couldn’t be happier. 5 stars to him.

Apple store was fantastic so nice and very much in order ! Staff very punctual and very capable of handling all concerns and where to direct you if needed to go to your provider I ran to mine T-Mobile also in this mall and they installed my SIM card that apple gave me and assigned it to my number. Only because my provider refused to allow apple to do it, weird I know but for the record apple did try to, anyhow great experience !@ apple and T-Mobile !clean nice stores only thing tho as I’m disabled so the escalator don’t work only some and I’ll say 1 worked going up and it wasn’t near where we had to go and the elevator worked. Again not where I needed to be. So the down escalator worked but that’s not great as I needed to go up, just saying this needs to be handled as there’s a lot of others that like me are disabled with foot amputation and partial on my other foot so escalator was needed but yaand cannot at all do the stairs … 😟😔but had to it’s just hard in me is all and if I had shopped a lot and had bags of items with me I definitely wouldn’t be able to do the stairs as I needed to hold the rail to help me up the millions of stairs lol jk but ya there’s a bit of stairs for certain, with everything else tho a lot of things to look at like any mall maybe just certain stores that aren’t close by maybe in this mall basically a mall Is a mall

Had great experience with this store. A badly cosmetically damaged and battery bloated Macbook Pro Retina 2015 was given to me from my work for free. I usually do all repairs myself including and up to component level repair on motherboards/logic-boards. However, pricing all the parts to refurbish this thing, plus my own labor costed more then what I was quoted for at this store. Logic-board was in perfect condition, and I hate to waste perfectly working components, so I went ahead with the apple service repair. Took about a week and they did a pretty good job swapping the logic-board and charging port over to the new uppercase and new display. The person that serviced me (forgot his name) also checked to see if I qualified for any service programs, so that was nice of him. Overall, good store! I had bad experiences at the Apple store in Somerset Troy; so for now on, this store has my business!

Michael, our salesman was AWESOME! Made an appointment, and still had to wait in line for 30 minutes. Michael made the wait worth our while though, even with being interrupted by a manager as she asked him to assist another customer as he was helping us! Im thinking she didnt see the other sales people just standing around waiting to help the long line of folks out in the mall. Great job Michael, keep up the good work. The managers need more customer service training, for sure.

Below average in all aspects.. similar to the entire mall, poor and (or) not existant service. many closed stores. messy shelves, expensive. most staff in the mall is uninterested and most kiosk staff is on their cell phones...

My iPhone touch screen went out. I went to the store and had it replaces paying full price. I realized shortly after leaving my Face ID didn’t work. I couldn’t go back for a week due to the short mall hour conflicting with my work and the 4th of July weekend. When I got there a week later they refused to fix it saying I had water damage. I never went near water or anything. I think tech messed up my phone, didn’t want to admit it and gave it back to me. I’m out $300 and a phone that is not fully functional

I have owned an iPhone for the past 8 years and consider myself an iPhone person who would never own any other type of phone. During this time I have tried to convince my partner who likes Samsung phones, to purchase an iPhone. This past weekend she dropped her phone and needed a new one. I managed to convince her to get an iPhone 12 Pro Max 500gb. We called her carrier and they said they had one in stock so we drive there the next day and it turns out the employee marked it wrong and they in fact don’t have the phone. We call this Apple store and they confirm they do have the phone in stock…. So we drive to the mall, it’s 55 minutes till closing, and we think this should be enough time. When my partner is asked if she needs help she explains what she wants and that she can pay cash or credit. The person who is helping her says they have to talk to their manager. After an extremely long, ambiguously drawn out explanation she is told she can’t purchase the phone that day. She no longer has any desire to own an iPhone and finds Apple to be rather pretentious. Why can’t they sell a phone? Isn’t that what they do?

I’m guessing Apple Twelve Oaks didn’t consult that Chik-fil-A manager on how to handle lines.... Even though I had an “appointment,” I stood in the line to get into line forever. Apple Twelve Oaks needs to make a separate line for people picking up online orders. I shouldn’t have to stand in the line to get in line to then be interviewed and finally walked over to the wall where I waited for my device.

They have the very best staff that works here. Martin helped me with my watch and helped me find the car charger for my car. His co workers left everyone around with a smile on their face as we waited for service. The atmosphere was phenomenal during a time like this

Very poor experience. You get shipped around to 3-4 different people at different stations and you end up repeating yourself a million times on what youre doing/here for. Also echoing others that say The fact that you see at least 4-5 workers walking around and making fun of each other not doing anything when you have few other other staff trying to do their best to help customers. is true. The staff kept talking about how they were due for their break and had 5-6 different parties at the ending station. When I asked for help or for more information about getting my new iPhone 12, very rude service. If I am forking out 1K, I expect extraordinary service. Will never go back here again and would not recommend.

Today was my absolutely worse experience ever. I’m fine with wiring in line. But The fact that you see at least 4-5 workers walking around and making fun of each other. I am extremely disappointed. I was having issues for my AirPods and visited the store. They checked everything and came to conclusion that they need to replace both airpods. They said that they don’t have it in stock and asked me to contact apple support. They mentioned that every notes are in the system and apple support will send me the replacement and I have to ship back my old ones after that. I called apple support and they said I don’t have apple care package so they can’t ship replacement in advance. They offered me to reserve an appointment at a store (which I already did) so due to inaccurate information from the apple authorised store, I more wasted 2 hours. (1.5 hours drive + wait at store and 45 mins on call with apple support)

I had an appointment at 2:40. I was not able to get in until 3:05. After about 15 minutes working with someone to fix the issue I was told it need to get another test and I would need to come back in an hour to get the results and resolution. I came back at the time they set and had only a short wait, about 5 min, only to find out that my device wasn’t ready and I would need to come back in 15 minutes. I came back win 15 minutes only to have to wait another 45 minutes to get back in and find out that they didn’t do the test they just replaced them. At first I thought they were just terrible at scheduling but it is something worse than that. Apathy? Indifference? Egomaniacal self importance at making people wait? Not sure if any of the other stores in the area are better but if I ever need to visit a apple store again I will drive a hour out of my way to go to a different one.

Explain to me how the “geniuses” who work here told me my iPhone, which was “bricked” by someone, who shall remain nameless, trying to login to my phone with the wrong passcode too many times, could not be fixed, even after connecting it to my iTunes and all that, that I had to buy a new phone, yet, amazingly, an offshoot, unaffiliated apple repair store near me, fixed it in 10min?!?This will be the last iPhone I ever own, and apple product for that matter! I’m a degree holding graphic designer, and, as such, was always an outsider, clinging to my PC nature, even though the old adage of “macs are better for design” still runs true in this world. However, when it came to phones, I am old school, and wasn’t trying to hack the pentagon from my phone, I just wanted a phone with some good games and functionality. So the answer was iPhone, since any good app gets developed, primarily, for iPhone, as it’s a much bigger marketplace, so I get that.But after this experience, and getting a little older, I’m done! I’m typing this from the last apple product I will ever even consider looking at, much less spending the ridiculous amount of money they demand! Covid protocol with an appointment isn’t horrible. Got in and out quickly with a replacement phone. Friendly staff and no bad experiences to report. Pre covid this place was a zoo, and I disliked visiting here. But I think the appointment based approach has eased the mass of people just stopping in on a whim.

Shop is good. I booked and request for.the store pickup. And I got the appointment with in 3 hrs. I reached the Shop and they told still your payment was not processed. I drove 27 miles and they are telling like this. If they didnt processed they must cancel my appointment before I reach there. This has to check and improve.

I showed up 25 minutes before closing because my phone screen stopped working out of the blue and I needed a screen replacement. The gentlemen at the front of the store were kind of enough to let me get my phone checked out to see the issue. A man named Garrett was extremely kind and helped me and replaced my screen even though he had to stay past closing and replaced my screen right away. Great service and an awesome employee, who could have made me wait overnight to fix it but happily did it!

Extremely haphazard online order pick-up even with an appointment. Security that behaves like theyre defending something vital to national interests rather than an Apple Store and are excessively rude. There are no guidelines posted for shoppers, no differentiation if youre picking up an order or just trying to walk-in to the store or there for product support. Best Buy on Black Friday feels more organized than this.

Firstly, the line was not that long but wait times were super long. There seemed to be a lot of employees who just stood around playing on iPads or goofing around with each other while there were people waiting to be helped. When we did get inside, the salesperson who helped us, Kevin, made us feel super uncomfortable. He constantly tried to upsell us on items in every aspect of the product and made things a lot more confusing and much harder than it needed to be. There was also just like a general creepiness from him and I felt the need to stick close to my boyfriend and talk quietly just to him. My boyfriend also commented that he felt bad vibes and was uneasy around him as well. I’ll stick to going to Apple Briarwood and would definitely recommend going to Apple Briarwood in Ann Arbor as my experience there has always been so much better.

I had an order to pick up. I was at the mall an hour before my pick up window. The store was not busy and i was the only one there.I asked security (more like a prison guard treating you like your an outlaw). They said I cant check in until 10 min before my window. So i left respectfully and came back 10 min before my window only to find there was more than 35 ppl in line. I was told to go stand at the back of the line. Whats the point of a pick up Window if im Gonna be standing in line for hours. I didnt have an option to wait for delivery as i was leaving the country that same day. I had to leave without picking up the phones. This place is a mess and the way apple handling this is disrespectful to their customers. Many stores have figured a way to deal with this pandemic in a less stressful way but not apple

Genius Bar and help are closed, had issues with an Apple Watch and store would not help so said to go online and send it back (screen damage and GPS issues). $80 later, sent back and not fixed. Now have to pay another $80 to send back again. Handy how COVID becomes an excuse to provide poor customer service. Scammers... Fool me once, well never again...

I always dread coming here for one reason only, it is packed! Even when I walk by it’s packed. But. If I ever have a problem or question or wanna buy something this is also the place to go! The customer service is very poor. I bought a brand new iPhone 12 from AT&T after unboxing I did not even used it for 16 hours, the phone was having multiple problems. Problem with the sound and all. When I went to the Apple store they said they cannot do anything and referred me to AT&T. The problem was with the brand new iPhone 12 which was not even using for 24hours. They said they cannot even take a look at it with out appointments and when I asked about appointments they said the next available appointments is only after a week which was wrong when I tried to sign in through Apple care support they gave me a next day appointment.

Really unsafe practices if you care about CoVid. They take temperatures and ask people to stand 6 feet apart in a line but then they have two lines right beside each other so you are basically shoulder to shoulder with the people in the parallel line. And the lines move very slowly.

I was told to come here by Apple support and a store employee to get a phone replaced for a defective camera. Upon arriving the manager argued with me for 20 minutes, told me I’d get a replacement and then claimed I wouldn’t get a replacement. I went back to Apple after using android phones for years, I’ve only had the phone for a few months and this is my first support experience.

Made it on time for my appointment, the technician Ronda was really a rude person, never faced this during the past 10 years visiting any of Apple Stores, they always provide answers and solutions to any problems you’re facing with your device, anyway arrived at the store and ronda was the technician, we were having a problems with the password for notes, according to ronda, she insisted that password can’t be changed or she don’t know, any questions we ask, she answered I don’t know, no eye contact with us and keep talking to us with an attitude and ignorance, until i asked for a manager who was very professional, he listened to us and guess what? Helped us retrieve the password and everything was fixed, but Ronda stated that nothing can be done.

After pre ordering the iphone 12, pick up was smooth and efficient and very impressive covid protocols were abided by. Unfortunately, the next day my device began to malfunction and after multiple conversations with Apple support, I was told I needed to make an appointment to receive a new phone. There werent any appointments available for over a week due to high demand. Out of frustration, I contacted this Apple store directly and was accommodated wonderfully. The manager, Kat, was so sweet and helpful over the phone ensuring there was a device set aside for me to pick up in store as a replacement. When I arrived at the store, all of the specialists managing entrance into the store were very understanding and overly nice about the entire situation. I was directed to the pick up line and helped within minutes of arrival. The specialist I worked with directly to return the original device and set up the new one was awesome! I wish I could remember his name but honestly, each technician I came into contact with at this store was amazing! Thank you for taking an overly frustrating situation and remedying the issue so quickly. I will only return to this store in the future for help because of this positive experience. Thank you!

Poor customer service!Update.... gets worse made appointment for 6 pm next day, waited again in line for 45 minutes was told to ask for manager Kat, who left for the day and did not hold the product as promised!Manager Akash was rude and once again no customer service. Poor! I asked for store manager Jen who is apparently gone for a week and he refused to giveMe her contact info!Come on Apple, treat us long term customer with respect and courtesy!
