When the tragedy hit my home during a pandemic, I was devastated. Sun GLlo stepped in and literally reassured me that everything was going to be fine. This fabulous company with qualified, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and caring teams made me feel as though I was their only customer and family. The job they did was absolutely awesome. I was fortunate to have this company complete my restorations.

We had only the moisture midigation up team so far for powder room bath.Two teams of workmen dried the bathroom hardwood floor as well as well as the bath ceiling and stairway walls. They did an adequate job of drying the area, except for a portion of the bathroom, which still has a raised floor area. I am giving them 2 stars primarily because of the workman poor attitudes, lack of masking while in our home, leaving excest equipment on site between install and pickup, and for damage to our basement stairway stairs & wall after hauling heavy equipment out.

The staff were pleasant enough. However the work project took WAY too long. The window was damaged January 31, 2021. While, yes, the window had to be special ordered, the job wasn’t completed until mid-June 2021. Setting an appointment was also challenging. When the work was done, it was fine but getting there was a long road.

Bob was great to work with. He handled everything in a timely manner and was very fast with communication. He worked with my ins adjustor for me which was so helpful. My repair turned out great. Thanks for all your help!

I am the Association Community Manager for a site that required work after a leak that had been gone undetected for years. SunGlo responded quickly, and did a fantastic job completing the repairs timely and expertly, keeping us updated regularly during the repairs, including patching in an area of wood floor that was damaged.

Dont ever use this company ever. My insurance company referred me to them for remediation services. I had a leak in my kitchen: They said that there was no black mold. Once I had my own contractors come in - black mold was all under the floor boards. Their employees also left my door open. They were complete slobs. Dont ever use this company ever. They are thieves and no insurance company should ever use this company. They didnt test in all areas. Black mold has been in my house and they lied and said that they checked and found nothing. Dont use this company ever !! They need to goOut of business no one deserves this!!! And they got paid thousands from my ins company!!!

This company assisted my family and I when we had a house fire. They were very attentive and any problems we had they made sure that they took care of us in a swift manner. They came to our home and packed up all of our belongings to be cleaned. After we were back in our home they dropped everything back off and gave us the option to unpack everything . I thought that was very generous, professional and convenient. I would definitely use them again lets just Pray its not for a house fire again!

SunGlo provided repairs to my property due to water and vehicle damage. In both cases, SunGlo was very professional. They met timing expectations, they provided excellent communications from initial planning through project completion, and worked directly with my insurance company without my personal involvement. The results of the projects improved the value of my property.

We experienced a fire in our garage after a lightening hit, our insurance company sent out SunGlo Disaster REstorationto help us. They were professional and inventoried everything very well, labeled and packed in the pod, We needed drywall repair and the whole garage repainted. This companys work was top grade! We would not hesitate to use them again.

The SunGlo team was awesome to work with. They responded to our water problem within an hour and worked with our insurance company for a smooth process.

From start to finish Gene and his team were great my families needs came first.All the sunglo people that were here treated myself and my family with respect to all my needs

This company has been a headache to deal with. Avoid if possible. The insurance company told me SunGlo would come out and mitigate the water damage we had from our toilet. The project manager was kind when he came out and agreed that flooring and vanity would have to be replaced as moisture was high. The leak has been affecting the basement joints also as the toilet was apparently leaking directly into this area. When the contractors came out, they werent told to rip the floor and vanity out, simply the drywall -so that is what they did. They also placed fans and dehumidifiers. They then stated someone else would have to come and do the rest of it as they did not have the tools to rip out vanity, toilet and floor. The following Monday the contractors came and told me they only had to rip out vanity and toilet, not the floor as it was not on the work order. They were kind enough to go back to their location and bring back tools to rip out the floor etc after speaking with them further. They were a pleasure to deal with and were very kind. Now this week the other contractors came out to check on the damaged wood flooring and joints to see if they had dried out... this is where the problem is. There is visible water damage and possible mold growth, yet they simply cannot replace the wood yet because they claim the adjuster must confirm if there is mold. The workers tested if there was mold damage by simply sniffing the area and saying I have allergies to mold and I sniffed it and nothing happened, so its not mold (paraphrasing). They then proceeded to rub it off and say it was simply dirt... I dont understand how the wood joints DIRECTLY below the leak have dirt growing in between them and the company tries to claim it is not mold. No air sample or surface sample was taken from the area to adequately test the mold. The proper protocol for mold testing involves sending off samples to a lab, of which they did not do. Their worker then stated he was mold certified. I said what type of certification do you have? He said mold. I go, okay but where is the certification from? Is it a national certification? He says yes. I asked him to show me the certification and it is simply the business card stating that they can take care of microbial remediation. I told him That is not an actual certification and you cannot claim that. A proper mold company would have already tested this area. This company has been a PAIN to deal with. I would not recommend any of their work as they are terrible in communicating and have turned this into a big ordeal for what should be an easy process. I wouldnt trust them even replacing the wood joints, plywood or doing the remodeling given the track history they already have with this issue. They are not certified from any accredited organization for mold testing and I do not trust that mold will not be an issue in the future, further costing us our health, time and money.

This company was amazing. Super quick to answer the phone and call you back. John kelly was awesome and so was Dave. The contractor they sent out was rod and he was super sweet and did a wonderful job. If you can request a contractor request rod.i cant stress enoufh how professional this company was and how I felt like family when they were taking care of my home needs. I will recommend them to everybody that needs restoration work. My kitchen looks beautiful thanks to rod and the sunglo team.

We experienced a leak from our water heater, we called and got immediate response from Sunglo. They were out to the house within a couple hours and helped us get everything dried up. Quick and professional.

I have dealt with Sunglow before and that was why I was happy to deal with them again I am very sick and I had very good responses with Karen who followed up with me every time to make sure that the job was completed and what was going on with the process of the job I want special kudos to go to Kyle it was very helpful and a very good person and very professional and even out of goodness of his heart help me walk when I was unable to because I have 4th stage cancer I thought I was a part of the family and I want to thanks the subcontractors that were sent to my home they were all just wonderful people with very good hearts and he was very professional and made sure that the problems in my house were fixed properly Im very comfortable with dealing with Sunglow and their subcontractors I would recommend them highly to everyone

In August of 2019 my house had a flood. From the 2nd floor bathroom all the way down into the basement. We called sunglo to come out and dry up the water. They were very fast and arrived in just a couple hours. While they were here they mentioned they could be hired as our contractor, so that all the repairs were done with one company, making it easier on us. We had never had such a loss before and this sounded like a great plan. I wish I would of done my home work because when we made that choice we essentially decided to give up our home for the next 9 months and let sunglo hire shady businesses to come into our home and to half done jobs over and over again. I will say they did a great job at cleaning the water up and drying our home out, but thats where it stopped. Lets talk about the dry wall people. Our kitchen ceiling needed to be redone. THe first dry wall guy showed up, worked for 2 hours and we didnt see him again. On day two, we received a text from Joe the construction manager saying they needed to hire a different dry wall guy because they couldnt get ahold of the first one. Second one comes and the work he did looked like a 5th grader did it. Actually I think my 7th grader would of done better. The dry wall guy had to redo all the dry wall twice! The painter are up next. While they did show up for work and stayed, they decided to cut ever corner they could. The didnt pull our fridge out. They didnt pull the stove out. They painted AROUND them all. So our walls are two different colors behind those items. In the bathroom where the flood was they actually painted AROUND a broken towel rack. Again, this job had to be done twice. See a theme? Flooring guys are up next. When we picked the floor Brandon our sunglo contact suggest a manufactured wood floor since we had kids and dogs. We had never bought flooring before, so It seemed like a good idea. Except the wood floor that was taken out was real wood, so they actually were going to make money off us choosing a cheaper floor. They installed it and within 3 days it started to peel up. Of course the flooring company blamed us. Stated we used the wrong cleaning supplies, which in 3 days I had not even had a chance to mop it yet. They came out and repaired it 5 times! Finally they said we had to choose completely different flooring. Now this whole process was MONTHS long. The flooring company stated we had to choose real wood, which is when we realized we were almost scammed out of the flooring we deserved. It took them another 2 months to order, deliver and install the floor. Communication with ANY one at Sunglo is almost impossible. While they were quick to answer the first call for help, once they have to start fixing things, they stop answering phones calls, text messages and emails. We finally had a meeting with a supervisor about ALL OF THE issues and during our meeting, Brandon which was out main contact stated that for all the issues he would waive our deductible. Much to my surprise over a year later I get a bill for my deductible. When I try to reach someone...ANYONE...I get no where. Until I get a email for some officer girl asking if she can send someone out to pick up a check for the $1000. When I explain to her what we were told, it takes her 2 weeks to get back to me, probably because they dont answer her either. She states they never said that. Now during those 2 weeks, I email Brandon our contact and also the president of the company. To this date, Ive yet to receive a phone call back. I have sent emails, texts, ect. BEWARE of this company. I work in the insurance industry and used to recommend them to our clients all the time. NOT ANY MORE. I actually tell them to run as fast as they can to another company.

We had a lot of water damage. SunGlo came out immediately and took control of the situation. They worked with our insurance company and got the job done quickly and expertly!

SunGlo was quick to respond. We had a pipe burst from our 2nd floor bathroom. They were wonderful with the pack out, and we’re careful with contents while we had to move out of our home temporarily. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful during the process.

As many know, large insurance claims are no fun. Fortunately, the guys at SunGlo did a wonderful job. Lourenzo was more than attentive and kept my up-to-date during the whole process. He did a great job managing my expectations and didn’t sugarcoat anything. I highly recommend using their services.

Roof started leaking on a Friday water was dripping from bathroom ceiling USAA insurance company call them and they were here within an hour to put a tarp on my roof shortly after a crew was sent to remove damaged ceiling installs dehumidifiers I was pleasantly surprised and how fast they came highly recommend this company

SunGlo was a pleasure to work with. Our house flooding was quite the ordeal and Im not sure how we would have handled the rebuild if we hadnt dealt with SunGlo. Gene, Joe and the whole SunGlo team (Kyle is great) did a great job and we were very happy with the results. Their subs were all great to work with too. Any issues were addressed quickly and they were all available when we had questions. I would recommend SunGlo, although I hope I dont have to. I would rather not have anybody I know have to go through a disaster like we did.

I was so pleased with Sunglo services for two different insurance claims at my home. They responded promptly, were very professional and all the employees that came over were respectful and cordial. Working with the Project Manager, Dan Jones, was a pleasure, making a bad situation less stressful. They go above and beyond, making sure the job is done correctly and completely.

We experienced a leaking dishwasher in our kitchen and contacted SunGlo Disaster Restoration Specialists. Beginning with the first phone call to SunGlo, my wife and I were impressed by the professionalism of the staff. The SunGlo employees, as well as the hired tradesmen, were very friendly and looked after our house as if it were their own. Most of the construction was done while our family was on vacation. We arrived home to a new kitchen floor and a clean house. The cleaning staff did an awesome job. SunGlo worked closely with our insurance company to make things run smoothly. We highly recommend SunGlo to anyone that finds themselves in our same unfortunate situation.

Pretty much what other people with negative reviews say. They never keep in touch, it’s near impossible to communicate with them, and even when you do they do very little to resolve any issues or concerns. You are definitely not a priority for them, as it will be weeks in between each communication you are even able to have with them, and then another month or two for them to start to address any concerns, which doesn’t matter because they won’t follow through to work to resolve your issues anyway. But if you do have an issue with their work it’s not because they did a bad job or maybe didn’t do something right, it’s because you are “picky”. We had guys show up to do a job that weren’t even provided the materials from Sunglo to do!!! So there goes more time to wait for a repair. I could go in for days...

The subs were AWESOME, the service was unimaginable and BRANDON was my RIGHT HAND! Brandon guided me through the ENTIRE process and made the repairs seamless! My experience was down right great! I was able to select the perfect tile, paint color, shower doors and everything from some very upscale and reputable vendors. I would definitely recommend using SunGlo ESPECIALLY if you have Brandon as your Project Manager!! Great job Sunglo!!! Had a good experience starting out. However, their contractors that they hire out were awful. I’ve experienced extreme delays, no call/no shows, a mice infestation, and drywall that was replaced on my ceiling (looked better damaged than it does now). I’m extremely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Smh

Extremely poor customer service! DO NOT use them for anything in your home. I had my drains back up in my basement. My insurance company sent Sun Glo to my house. The initial contact was concerning and it went down hill from there. There is not enough space to type the difficulties I experience over several days. I ended up having them remove their equipment and I am currently researching a different company for the repairs that need to be done to my home. When you go through a disaster in your home and you experience a significant loss of property the last thing you want to deal with is a company that does not care what you are going through and makes the process difficult and frustrating.

The clean up crew came quickly and did a good job, so I agreed to let them do the restoration. I quickly regretted the decision as it fell face first down hill from there.Communication was TERRIBLE! Took multiple attempts to contact our project manager. When they did communicate, they made me seem like I was being picky (they put a hole in the wood floor board while removing the tile, I wanted them to fix it as it was in the most traveled space on the bathroom floor, they assured me they would, never did and sent the tile guys out). I know the Sun Glo staff mentioned to the contractors they sent out that I was difficult, b/c one of them told me. Unprofessional and disrespectful.The work that was done we could have watched You Tube videos and done a better job ourselves. The carpet guy they sent had a very small selection and seemed to be in a hurry. I could have done a better job painting and fixing the drywall compared to who they sent. Lines arent straight, and had I not said anything about the residual mold and gouged out dry wall that hadnt been fixed it would have just been painted over. The new tile floor looked beautiful at first, but the grout is cracking already. The man who did the tile then proceeded to dump the grout bucket in the middle of our driveway which is black top.After the last contractor left, we NEVER heard anything from Sun Glo again. We didnt reach out to the them bc this whole process was ridiculous and took WAY too long. A year and half for a master bathroom and basement carpet. They never even finished the project. They were supposed to replace a wooden work bench in our utility room in the basement, it was never completed by them.Save yourself the stress and aggravation, use a different company, or tackle it yourselves.

We are in the process of a major restoration from a pipe bursting at my moms. Sunglo found $400 of rainy day money behind a painting. While they could have pocketed the money and no one would have been the wiser they didn’t. They told us about it. Jon K and crew are awesome! They are handling everything and taking the weight off of my shoulders!!

I had a dishwasher leak that ruined kitchen floor sun glo came out quickly with machines to dry up. Said we would prob need cabinets floor toe kicks. Manager came bk said looks like just floor . May26 this is now sept 23 floor is still not done . Sent out this chuck in a truck co. That ruined new floor had to have 2nd guy come out to refix still small issues. Manager is not good at keeping in touch at all . We have to confront him all the time. Just want this to b over. Will never use a restoration co ever again could of did better job.
