SO SO MANY FAKE REVIEWS!!seriously guys - if youre that hard up that you need to create DOZENS OF FAKE accounts to review your clubs and rave about the manager it says SO MUCH about your (complete lack of) credibility and integrity (you may want to look those terms up!!)I am researching a new club membership but see no point walking in your door!Hope it was worth it! Here you missed a chance to get a customer who does real reviews (perhaps that is the concern).

I have been working here as a front desk associate for about a year and a half. Before that I was a member since 2014. I can say that the atmosphere is neighborly and sociable. The members here are what really make Renegade the place to be. The equipment is in good condition and we offer a multitude of classes that will be sure to spark some interest. The company itself tries its best to stay organized, efficient, and systematic. If you are looking for a nice local gym, Renegade will definitely fit your needs.

Horrible record keeping. Annual renewals without notification, AFTER cancelling years prior. Especially with this gym read the fine print. Credit issues because of it...and it took the fifth time I came in to tell me they’d been charging me for five extra years. Don’t even touch the place.

Renegade is the best gym around. The managers are so helpful and knowledgeable. The gym is clean and has so much to offer. The classes help me reach my fitness goals and I always feel welcome and motivated when I walk through the doors.

By far the best gym I have been to! The staff is beyond amazing and helpful. I joined about 2 or 3 years ago and I was signed up by James, which walking out of my car the first thing I said was I AM NOT GOING TO SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING I AM JUST GOING TO LOOK Boy was I shocked walking in! I was Greeted immediately I didnt feel intimidated and had a great experience.

Tried a lot of gyms this is by far the best one Ive been to. The trainers do a great job of getting you in a rythem of great exercises and diets. Look for Damian when you stop by. He was the most helpful staff there. Ever since Ive been on a steady healthy road.

Gotta say I am very glad I joined!!. Not only do they have great classes, James is one of the best trainers. He is fun and pushes you to be your best. The front desk staff are also friendly and quick to help with anything.Crystal Genesky

I started as a member back in 2007 when Renegade was WOW. I loved it so much that I became a Spin instructor and have been teaching there for 6 1/2 years. I love the members, the class participants, and the atmosphere. There is literally something for everyone there!

This is a one of a kind facility! I have never been disappointed with any of the equipment, it meets all my fitness needs. I travel a lot and use many different facilities. But this place has Amazing Group fitness classes, the best functional training equipment, they also have every piece of cardio I could ever imagine. On top of that always being greeted by the staff 😊 so happy to be a part of this gym, it feels like a family! If you aren’t already working out here you NEED TO BE.

I have been a member and instructor with this company since 2000 and I can honestly say that we strive to keep abreast of the changing exercise landscape. From the well equipped cardio, free weight and weight machine floor spaces to the wide variety of group exercise classes, and the motivating personal training staff, Renegade will suit whatever your fitness needs...especially if you arent quite sure what they are! Come by and check us out sometime!

Do yourself a favor....dont sign up here. Youll regret it every day. I shouldve never left Planet Fitness. They lock you in a contract that is IMPOSSIBLE to get out of. Even after the contract has ended, you have to pay to have a letter certified and mailed to them explaining you want to terminate your contract. You need to give 30 days notice... So they still bill you. Plus the certified mail takes a week to process (even though it was delivered sooner) so you pay two months. Oh, and if your annual maintenance fee happens to fall during that 30 days, guess what? Youre paying for it! Im appalled by this companys lack of customer service. Ive never dealt with such awful service, ever. I moved OUT OF STATE and they still charged me $65 for the maintenance fee plus the months membership. I get theres contracts and rules...but what about being a decent human being and understanding where your customer is coming from??? Even planet fitness waived a cancellation fee for me in the past. These people really only want your money. They could care less about their customers and I cannot say enough about how horrible they treat you.

Automatically renews training and takes more than a month to cancel

Front desk staff are awesome, they are helpful and extremely friendly! The machines are maintained well, maybe couple more squat rack outside the move it area for us to use when it gets busy. Tanning is included. One thing that just really slightly bothers me is the smell in the girls bathroom but overall its a decent gym!

A new record 5 for 5. Stopped on the Renegade Norwich location for a quick workout during lunch. Raelyn McDonald, the Manager of the location checked me in. I told here about my 4 for 4 experience while working out at the Renegade locations. She said 5 for 5 it is. She went to get Ana Valdez, the Fitness Manager of Norwich and introduced me. After changing clothes in another clean locker room she took me through an amazing personal training session. LEGS THAT IS. Felt that one for a few days. Stop by!!!!

Its a gym. Its clean and the equipment is OK. Many ellipticals have bumps in their mechanisms. The only stretching area is in a classroom, which is wonderful IF theres no class scheduled when you need to cool down. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Im out of contact but still pay month to month. If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. They want you to send a letter which costs $3 an extra cost they dont tell you about, even if its only $3 its a $3 fee they dont tell you about. They say I have to send a letter because it was in the contract I signed, but I am now out of that contract and not legally obligated to follow that. Its 2019, stop being the stereotypical contract gym that make their members jump through hoops. It should be as simple as a walk in cancelation or a phone call. Not a letter that takes a week and Ill still get billed for that month even though i cant go. Really ridiculous. Thanks for putting me in auto pay and not being transparent and honest gym. If you actually changed that policy the reviews probably would be better and people would actually recommend your gym, instead you guys rather be the stereotypical contract gym. Thanks for taking my money for 6 months.

Its clean, and plenty of equipment. I paid the extra $ for the Move It membership, which equals lots of functional equipment and bumper plates! Lots of cardio, and actually from 8am to 3pm (at various times) Ive never seen it super busy. The staff is all friendly and helpful.

Damian the District manager will go above and beyond to help you! He knows his stuff and cares! He will get you to where you need to be!

The gym is small and dark. The ellipticals, even though one has to pay a maintenance fee, are dirty stiff and bumpy. The staff is okay but besides checking in or signing you up to an awful contract, are not really helpful, even to new comers.But my biggest issue is the people that handle the contracts. They make you pay to cancel, and extend your contract with out your knowledge, so you pay for more. To me, that makes them crooks. I will never ever join this crappy gym again, and to anybody that asks, Ill send them to Planet Fitness!

Its a great place if youre into fitness

Damian the District Manager told me if I checked out Norwich he would buy me a smoothie. He kept his word and on top of that Norwich was surprisingly amazing!

One the best fitnes place in the country, you can be any age ;race;gender;or religion, you are welcome and feel at home, I have been working out in the Renegade fitnes club for over eight years, the staffs and the trainars still has the same great members appreciations and welcoming by calling your first name.I am glad to be part of the Renegade fitnes Club.

One of the worst gyms Ive been into. Very small, dark atmosphere. Very expensive plans for nothing. Would never recommend coming here. I gaurtee they will go out of business.
